Monday, 9 June Sounds like u been lucky so far-- I was diagnosed with Preeclamsia/Toxemia in week 32, and am about to hit week 35 tomorrow... It has sucked.. I started with the swelling back in the middle of month 6, but all was ok still, then went back again for reg tests, BP was 140/92 and protein in urine, and mass weight gain from water retention- like 15 pds in 1 month!! I look like a giant water balloon/blowfish! I cannot wait for this to be over, just walking now makes me swell even more then just lying or sitting in bed. PLUS all the reg preg compliants ofcourse, it is terrible.. Do try to take it easy though bc u dont want it to get worse- although it will the further along you go, as I have seen, and the only cure is to get him out, dont be surprised if you deliver early or have to have a c-section! Did they give you a date yet for inducement? Well, hope your hanging in there.. PS-- my Dr is high risk and in Montgomery Alabama- an hour and a half away from where I live, too! Grrrr.... Blessings and keep me posted...

Tuesday, 3 June I am having a planned c-section on July 11th also. I've been so ready for this baby but all of a sudden when i found out she would come 1 week early it kind of scared me. I do like the idea of know when she will come. The thought of waking up in the middle of the night and rushing to the hospital scares me. Also, I found out today that the cord is wrapped around her neck, so I would probably have to have had a c-section anyways. goldcoast -
Tuesday, 3 June Yes I am having a planned c-section under general anaesethetic on the 7th July.... I am so excited I just can not wait to meet my little girl! Its great knowing when you are having a c-section cause you can plan exactly to the day! no doubts or worries..... You will be right and if your like me the day can not come soon enough I need to be able to sleep in a comfy position and not go to the bathroon 12 times a night!!!
