My name is Sally and I'm pregnant with my first child. My due date is Oct 18 but i will be having a C-section at the end of September or early in October. In September 2006 I had an abdominal myomectomy to remove a large (the size of a baby's head) fibroid tumor from my uterus. Because of that surgery my uterus is badly scarred and it would be dangerous to go into labor.

I took a pregnancy test the day before i missed my period. . . I just had a feeling and I was right! So far I've been feeling exhausted and nauseous, throwing up just about every morning. I'm hoping the sickness will pass in a few weeks (or now would be good too)! I'm looking forward to week 19 when my doc says we can see the sex. I feel sure that its a girl, I don't know why, just a gut instinct I guess. I hope I'm wrong but as long as s/he's healthy I really don't care.

Hey lady! Good to hear from you!! I hope you had a nice (and relaxing) time on your trips! I'm sure it was good to see family! I hear ya on the weight gain. I'm up 18 lbs... ugh! I keep telling myself it's for a good cause! The belly doesn't bother me, it's the extra weight in the butt, legs, etc! LOL How's your father-in-law doing?
Feeling pretty good here. I had a few days of some back pain, but not too bad. The baby (still no name!) is moving around a LOT now! I think she's dancing or practicing karate in there or something! I love feeling her move!!!!

Seriously, how are we supposed to know what those kicks feel like??? I'm feeling like twitches and 'hard' thrusts..not hard as in the thrusts themselves are hard, but like a hard something is thrusting - moving - shifting...I don't know. A few weeks ago - the flutters - felt like someone was tickling me on the inside with a feather. I sound retarded! LOL How about you? How would you describe what you're feeling?? I know you're probably ready to be moved in and settled. Nice that you had some friends to help you and you could play foreman!

I have trouble with my hubby accepting my body too, but he tells me I'm beautiful and he loves me and my body but it's me who has the bigger problem with it!! My sister had a C section because her pelvis never opened the way is should have and the baby got stuck and I can't even see her scar, but she is very insecure about it.....I've never seen a vertical one, good luck with that, Doctors nowadays do amazing things and I'm sure you'll look great(If thats what they do ;) Good luck with shopping and moving, I like Motherhood......hope your having a good day =)
