Hello!

20 Weeks today: Finally the day of my scan arrived. I had hardly any sleep last night and couldn't stomach my breakfast this morning. The appointment was at 9.10. Well the scan was brilliant, the sonographer gave us a quick look before she did the measurements and the baby was drinking, it was the cutest thing i've ever seen. I had to roll over and be moved back to get a better look at the baby but other than that he was very co-operative. I say he because we found out it's a little boy!!!!!!!!!!!! She gave us another look after doing the measurements and he was sucking his thumb! He can get out of that habit hehe!

19 Weeks today: Time is going quite quickly, but I must say i'm at a nervous point right now. I still have not blood tests back. I really want the triple test back because I'm a worrier. I am also nervous because this time next week i'll be at the hospital for my 20 week scan. I just want to know that everything is ok with my baby. I can't stop reading horror stories on the internet. I know I shouldn't do it and my husband gets mad at me but I can't help it! Roll on next week and I can hopefully cill out a bit.

18 Weeks: Well i'm 18 weeks today, the past 2 weeks have gone quite quickly, and I just hope the next 2 will go as quickly, I have my scan in14 days time to check that everything is ok and to find out what i'm having. I am nervously waiting for the results of my triple test that I had a week and a day ago. There was also a problem with my bloods from my booking appointment. The blood clotted and they only got around to telling me 3 weeks after having them done. So I still have no results from those.Sigh!

Well i'm 16 weeks today and these past 2 weeks have flown by, I hope the next 4 do to. That's when I have my anomaly scan and find out how my baby is developing and we get to know the sex too. I can't wait. I just hope everything is ok. I am not buing anything til then or even accepting gifts! I am feeling well at the moment apart from gatting a fair few aches and pains in my lower abdomen. I suppose that it to be expected when you consider what is going on in there!

I'm currently 14 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I have to say i'm a complete ball of excitement, joy and worry! I am such a worrier, I just can't wait to get past 20 weeks when I can see my little one again and get a better idea that everything is ok. I had my 12 week scan 2 weeks ago and it was so wonderful to see my baby wiggling all round my tummy!

My husband Lee is even more excited than me but I get on his nerves with all my worrying. He is very much a 'think positive' type person so he does get exasperated with me.
