Hello everyone! My name is Samantha and my husband and I are expecting our first child together. We are having a boy, Greyson James. We are due on June 27, 2008. In the beginning we had a few complications because I had placenta previa. Since then I've been directed to stay off of my feet, no excersising, no cleaning, etc. So thats what I've been pretty much doing. So far everythings been going great. I cant wait to meet our son!

i think i was like 35 weeks. and i was dialated for like 4 weeks, then induced.

Yes I was totally sure I was dialated even more than a 2 when I was in week 35. But they didnt check me I was ticked! Chances are you might be. I am just trying to take it easy I am hoping that I have this baby still closer to the end of May than the middle. I wouldnt wait to find out if they dont check you ask them too at your next appt. Youll be kicking your self if you dont. Good luck let me know what they say!

I have had a few nights with lots of bh up to 10 or more in an hour- irregularly paced. Hard day at work seems to be the culprit. I got mine to stop by resting, drinking a lot of water, and making sure I don't have a tight waist band. I didn't have any other sign of labor so I knew it was ok.

It doesn't sound like something you should call right away for, if you have 6 or more in an hour then you should or thats what my MW told me.. i've been getting them more often now too. She said drink a large glass of water and lay on your left side. the BH can be caused by dehydration as well.

if you have it through your job, you should be able to get it from HR... if it's personal, there should be an 800 number to your plan and they will give you your contact person and the forms.

ur baby could be dropping because w/ my first she dropped at 32 weeks. this is my second and i am 36 weeks and man she has dropped BIG time so yea. its possible. congrats!!!

maybe she's got a different plan. I just had my meeting w/ the HR mgr and she said that my first check would come in on the 8th day after my last day. I get paid every week too.. so i'd just have to wait a couple of extra days to get the first check.

i have short-term disability, is that what you have?

so i went to week 36-37 to see what they were talking about and those girls are dialated between 2-3 cm. now i am kinda nervous. i don't want to have this baby next week. on the whole labor thing, it is totally unrehearsed. you have to go with it. if you have some good nurses, and are in good hands, you will be really thankful at the end. i did with my son, and my nurses were the ones who got me through the labor, and i met them the day i delivered, totally unrehearsed. you will do great.

um yeah. i did it with my first, if i had to feel half of what you felt with no drugs, um, i would not be a mom. i don't understand why women want to go through that, i mean, more power to them, but not me. i would not be pregnant agian if i felt anything the first time.

I am feeling great! I have my 3d/4d appointment scheduled for May 17th, and I could not be happier. My fiance asked me what I wanted for mothers day, and thats what I would like. I will be 34 weeks by then, so I hope that she still has room to move and I get good pictures! Yay, now that I have that scheduled, I have something to make my time go by faster! Are you doing maternity pictures? We are taking ours next tuesday and they print everything out right there! How awesome is that? Another exciting thing to look forward to! Well I hope the that being nausiated gets better for you! Keep in touch!
