It's a GIRL!! Mara Joan.....

So today i am 16 weeks and 2 days..December 19, 2007..went for another US today..this time the girl thought a GIRL! so we really have no idea! Heartrate was 154 this time...go again in 2 weeks!

Today ( Jan. 2, 2008) we found out we are having a GIRL!!!!!!!!! She is very healthy and her heartrate was 134 this time...her name will be Mara Joan...go again in 2 weeks for my Level 2 US..that will def confirm the sex! I still can't believe they said GIRL!!!!! wow what a shock! either way is fine for us!

Today is Jan. 3, 2008...think i am getting a cold! NO!! i wasn't sick at all this whole time! hope it's just my allergies!

Today is Jan. 16, 2008...20 week US today, it wasn't as exciting as we thought, the best US was our first one we had at 12 weeks...today it was a brand new high tech machine and we didn't think it was that clear...oh well...anyway..SHE weighs 13oz, heartrate was 138...they found a little spot on her heart, think it's calcium deposit, hope it goes away..he said it's not a big worry but i still will go every 2 weeks to check that and the placenta..they put me on a low dose aspirin for that...my quad screen was elevated by a hair so they have to do it..umm...she was yawing! it was so cute! i said 'wake up' ..'sleep when you come out'..we all laughed! I have gained 10 pounds total! so to everyone that says i'm small i'm gaining!! and i will continue to gain and probably be HUGE!! ahhah!! whatever it takes! just so Mara is healthy and happy! Back to Dr. in 2 weeks.......

First Kick today!! I have felt her move but never kick per say well today when I got home I was sitting here and felt kick kick and I was like hmmmm and felt my belly and BAM she kicked! Amazing feeling for sure! Jan. 28, 2008

Jan. 30, 2008~ Today I am 22 weeks and 2 days...Dr. appt went well today, IT'S A GIRL FOR SURE! Yes had them check AGAIN!! Her heartrate was 141 today! They weren't concerned about the spot on her heart, they didn't even bring it up! Brian did and they said it was not a big worry to them...they see it alot....FELT HUGE TODAY!! She was so cute on the US! She was kicking around, she accidently hit herself in the head!

Feb. 13, 2008~ Happy Valentine's Day tomorrow~~So we had 2 appts today, which were fine, MARA was shy and didn't want to show her face, her heartrate was 156....go back in 2 weeks...and 4 weeks to my Dr.

Feb.27, 2008....26 weeks US, Mara is estimated at 2lbs. 4oz., long legs, still has spot on her heart but they didn't seem concerned..she was kicking away! And trying to shove both her hands in her mouth!! Guess she was getting hungry! Lil Piggy! Go back in 4 weeks instead of 2 next time.... her heart rate was 133.....

March 12, 2008~ Regular checkup today, the one you wait for 20 minutes and it takes all about 2! lol! all went fine, heartbeat fine, blood pressure fine, weight...gained another 6! dam! went to work then after went to the Quest Lab and did the sugar test to get it over with, i thought the drink was good..the time flew by, caught the end of General Hospital, some of Oprah and saw a girl from High School with her little girl..she is too cute! Growth scan next Wednesday, then another appt the 26th..going every 2 weeks for the checkup's at the Dr.'s now...

March 19, 2008~ 29 weeks...went for growth scan today, Mara is breech at this point, first ever, i knew it! i could feel her digging in my ribs and kicking low! She weighs 2lbs. 14oz. back on track, she was a little ahead last time they checked her weight.... she looked so cute! the profile was really good on the US... her heart rate was 147... go back in 5 weeks for another growth scan, at 35 weeks i can stop taking the aspirin... next wednesday is "regular checkup"...

March 26, 2008~ had check up today, so was ready to change Dr's! this office i go to because it's closer, ugh they are so rude! i can't imagine how someone who has a difficult pregnancy would feel walking in there and having to deal with thier rudeness!.. i just kept my mouth shut and answered the 2 maybe 3 questions they did ask... Monday i was so dizzy i had to stay home from work.. the office, the one i do like, called me back and said maybe low blood pressure or sugar.. she finally told me my sugar test results were 68... so that was pretty normal, she said it was great where other people have said it's low well atleast i passed! i was so worried! go back in 2 weeks... growth scan on April 16th...

April 9, 2008~ 32 weeks! had regular checkup..yep gained another 3lbs. go for growth scan next week... back to Dr. April 23rd... moving right along...

April 21, 2008~

So we went for another growth scan today, She weighs about 4lbs. 10oz. Her heart rate was 121…Everything is at or around 34 weeks growth except for her abdomen, that was around 32 weeks, so I will have to go back in 3 weeks at 37 weeks (full term) and see how her growth is then, if it’s not to where she should be then they will talk about delivering her. Not sure if that meant that day, that week or what but I guess if she needs to come out then that’s best for her…my placenta (which is why I take the aspirin) isn’t giving her enough nutrients…BUT I could go back in 3 weeks and everything will be fine and she will stay in till she’s ready!

So that’s the latest… I go to my Dr. on Wednesday so if they have any other info I will let you know!

36 weeks, 5/8/08~Went to Dr. for checkup today~ no dilation, had the strep culture done, then they sent me for a non stress test, gees what a day! So tiring!! They sent me because I mentioned I hadn’t felt her move a lot a lot in the last week…well I guess better safe then sorry right? So I went and everything is fine! Just like I thought but they asked and I told em! Now I’m beat from all the driving!! Breast feeding class tonight so I have to drive all the way back there again! Oh well at least we know she is OK!! Growth scan on Monday, checkups weekly now….

37 weeks, 5/12/08~

so she is head down, way down, and about 5 1/2 pounds.

so she gained weight atleast!

go Friday for checkup and see what they say, then go back to this office in 2 weeks.

so all is good for now still!

37 weeks~may 16, 2008 ...

appt went well, finally met the last Doctor in the group and by far he is the BEST!!

i am thinning but no dialation, go for nst and fluid checks twice a week and will be getting induced probably by the end of May. He said if any changes like dialation starts, movements decrease or fluid gets low they will just send me that day to the Hospital. She, he thinks will be over 6lbs so thats great! Her belly is still 3 weeks behind and my belly measurement (which he said isn't accurate anyway) is 35 weeks.

So he said definalty wouldn't go passed June 2nd, due date, and prob will be induced before then anyway.

Head way down, her feet, oh yes love them in my ribs... lol!!

38weeks~5/19/08..had NST/fluid check today, she is still behind 3 weeks in her abdomen growth, fluid fine..

5/21/08...check up fine, nothing going on as of yet...

5/22/08...have another NST check...

went for NST, had high blood pressure...kept me to start inducing labor....
