The day you deliver, outside will be slightly overcast. Your baby will arrive in the afternoon.

After a labor lasting approximately 12 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and will be 20 inches long. This child will have light blue eyes and some blond hair.

Hey!
I've been having a kinda crappy week. My leg swelling is getting me down cause I'm stuck to the couch with my feet up constantly. I do something and literally watch my legs fill up with fluid and then it gets so uncomfortable I can't wait to lay down. Just very annoying. I lost my plug and have been spotting a bit for the past 2 days... I'm excited that my body is getting ready but I'm not getting any contractions, just a bit of cramping. I go on Tues. and they said they would induce me if I want because of how much fluid I'm retaining... I'm really considering it as my body is kinda heading in that direction anyways and my life is sucking just sitting on the couch waiting for something to happen!! My friend had her baby Wednesday and we went and saw him - so adorable! It really made things real holding him and looking at my belly was unbelievable! Its amazing the miracle of birth! Jazz was just mesmerized by him, touching his ears and nose and smelling him and holding him... it made me so excited to see him with our son.
How are things with you? Your swelling is getting worse eh? Isn't it such a bummer? How else are you feeling - cramps? contractions? Isn't waiting just torture?! I know we are almost there but still!! Do you have Phil on red alert nowadays? I told Jazz if I have to drive myself to the hospital he is doomed - haha! I just wonder if we'll be all in a panic or if things will be calm and we'll just know... its pretty exciting!
Well I hope you have a nice weekend... try and enjoy what you can!! I will keep you posted too. When is your next appt?

yah im perfectly fine. My doctor is just concerned because my baby is already almost 8 pounds. she doesnt want her getting any bigger inside me. I had an ultrasound and at 36 weeks the baby was measureing 39 weeks. but yah all is good and healthly

i finish on friday! yey! this week has dragged! but i could not sit around the house weeks on end just waiting im too impatient for that! i have a busy week planned next week sorting, washing cleaning, then there will only be 2 weeks until my due date, so not too long to do nothing for.

i just was unsure as maybe i was eating too quickly or qring food that upset baby but like you say im sure its normal.

i have loads of movements too, and just recently they havebeen so strong that they shock me sometimes, and im sure he must be going even further into my pelvis unless he is just playing with it!

i am really tired now, i cant wait to finsh work (15 mins) then go home and have a nice warm bath and chill out. (my hubby is away for the night on a 2 day course in Birmingham - we haver not spent a night apart for so long, he rocons it will be typical i will go into labour and he wont be around!hope all is well with you!

I am not sure what DOP means...mmmm, let me know. I am very confused, they have never told me numbers like that. I will ask next Tuesday when I go. That is strange....mmm

Well, they just looked at her movement and said all was good. She has moved her head back toward the down position, so this is good. I was worried for a minute. I think when I had all that pain on Saturday night that she was moving.

I have loved having the day off. We had a slice of pizza on this lovely square after the appt. He is looking at the room and getting the car seat out. I think when he goes to appts. with me he gets more excited. This makes me happy!

We have to go tour the hospital tonight at 6:30, so not much to do this afternoon. I am running dishwasher and need to do some clothes...that is it for me...back to school tomorrow! :(

well effacing is the thinning of your uterus. so mine is half way thinned out. Of course in the end you'll be 100% effaced and 10cm dilated. Uh..I'm not sure about the DOP either. Sorry I can't be of any help there. Are you dilated at all or is your cervix still completely closed?

Well I had appt this morning and I'm 50% effaced and half a cm dilated. So things are moving along. Anyday now and we'll be holding our little angels. I'm so ready. How about you??

I am off today and getting ready to go see the doc in a minute or so. I want to see if she has turned in the right direction! She is being a little diva and wanting to be breech!

Ok, that dinner just made me salivate! It sounds soooo good and it is only 10:30 in the morning here!

I got some stuff done, but not enough this weekend. I feel like I should be putting something on the walls....still searching. not good.

I have had the same small bursts of energy. It is weird. Then I am exhausted. So, I am resting most of the day. Tonight we have a tour of the hospital so there is some walking involved, so I will have to rest for that.......

Hey!
How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good! Got alot accomplished and it was Jazz's birthday. Everything went well and I made him a really special scrapbook that went all the way back to when we were dating. We got a really bad wind storm last night that took our power out for about 4 hours. We have so many branches and leaves down now - looks like fall! I love fall. What season is it for you now? I've been having some real contractions off and on. They woke me up one night and now I know what they feel like, but nothing consistant. I go tomorrow to get checked, but I have a feeling now that since I've been off the meds for almost a week and haven't gone into labor that I'm now in it for the long haul. That is good and bad... I am so swollen in the feet, ankles, calves and now up into my knees that its very uncomfortable...its better when I keep moving but not when I'm sitting at my desk at work. Thank goodness I'm only working half days now. They have an office due date poll for me now and everyone keeps telling me to hold off until the 3oth or the 3rd or whatever - I tell them no way, I'm letting him come whenever!! I'm now eating just about everything I can get my hands on, typically unhealthy stuff...I really need to get this over with! haha. Yeah I was talking about Phil's dads place, I thought you were going too, but I'm glad he's not going, he doesn't need to be that far away from you at this point - its too risky! My good friend is now 2 days past her due date, poor thing. She's still thick and high the doc said, she'll probably have to get induced next week. Her baby is already measuring 8 pounds, next week he'll be even bigger!! It would be funny if we had our boys within a couple days of each other. Any premonitions or mother's instincts on what you are having? I still think its a girl... and I think she's going to have just a bit of blonde hair and a beautiful smile...aren't you excited?!!?
Well I'm going to put away my ice cream and take Dixie outside for a bit and see if I can pick up some of the mess outside. Talk later!

Hiya, I asked about the Raspberry leaf tea at my NCT antenatal classes and the woman said that unless your blood pressure (or risk of pre-eclampsia) is already high then it should be fine to take the tea/ tabs. My blood pressure is REALLY low, so I'll just have the odd cup of tea - like 2 a day or something. Hopefully I'll be ok...

Hey girl!--I have made it through the week and am happy to be home resting. I actually stopped and filled the car up and cleaned it out. I got a burst of energy. I thought ... oh, ho I hope this is not the nesting thing before birth! But I am not home and all is good.

Marquis got a part time job at fed ex and works 10 pm-2 am. I have to admit it that I hate the time. I always get anxious at night. He has his cell and he is not far, but still..

I am getting a pedicure and a purse this weekend. It is about me this weekend! I swear, I am so happy about this. I know it sounds crazy, but I want something for me.

How did Thursday night go? Did you all go out? Etc. I am glad that he snapped to and got you the bear and heart! Good for him.

Straddles and all fours are us! :) I look crazy, but I still am trying...

How are you hanging in there? I'm kinda miserable at times now that I'm off the meds. My belly is so uncomfy and tight and I'm getting a bit crampy... We didn't have relations like I'd hoped to cause I just felt like crap...but maybe tonight! My Madame Zaritska said I would have the baby on a rainy day - it is supposed to rain until Monday and no rain after that for 10 days... weird. My aunt who is a labor & delivery nurse said that she is suprised I haven't gone into labor yet with all the signs I'm showing. I hope I don't wait out too much longer, my insides just feel so messed up and uncomfy.
Hope all is well with you. I'm sure the excitement is mounting on a daily basis. Are you going to Phil's parents place still?

Girl, I am going to try it tonight. I will tell you how it feels. I also have to get down on all fours and stick my butt in the air. That is supposed to work too. mmm. LOL!!!

I get the back pain as well. I can't believe how much it hurts sometimes. I never noticed right after I eat, but I will pay more attention.

2 more weeks with the kids! Thank goodness that is all. yeah...

I can't believe you can do your nails...opps, maybe you mean fingernails. I never asked if you like your pedicure? I love grocery delivery, especially for kitty litter and watermelons!

Are you feeling better today. I am so going to get on it and take a picture of crib and bedding. Also, with letters of her name for short. Too cute.

ohh, that sucks about the taste but I am up for anything as of now. Woman are so thoughtful! Marquis birthday is next week and I am already thinking about it. I think he waits to the last minute for me! :)

Back at school today. arrggg. I so don't want to be. Doc said that the baby has turned and is now breech! I hope that she turns back around. This is probably why I have been feeling so icky, she is doing somersaults in there! He did say he would probably write me out two weeks early so get ready. That means I only have, that is right two weeks from today left. Thank goodness. It hurts to even be here and thinking about the stupid bathroom so far away.

It was nice yesterday. Marquis actually went with me and we had a nice lunch before hand! Yeah!!! This was so nice. I usually go by myself. I think he is starting to get worried.... :)

Hey girl,,,it is so nice not going to work today. My legs and feet were so swollen last night when I got home. I was so moody and the kids were in a crappy mood as well. not a good combination....off to the doc this afternoon. I am going to ask him to sign me off early so that I can rest some. I don't even get breaks during the day. I actually have a 20 minute lunch and that is it.

I am going to try that when getting off the couch and bed. That pain is horrible. It doesn't happen everytime, but when it does it is horrible.

Congrats on your 3 year! Wow. We have been together off and on for a long time...i don't know, maybe 5 years...shoot I don't even know anymore.! But I think we are the most solid we have been in a long time, so this is good. What are you guys going to do to celebrate?

It sounds like a big day getting shopping done. I think it feels like I need to go ahead and start shopping as well! Isn't that weird. I feel like once she gets here, I won't have time to do anything. Maybe all internet shopping this year!!

What are raspberry tablets? They sound good....
