Those are soooooo cool! I wish that I could convince him to get one! I just don't have the money right now, but those rock. Maybe I will try to hint to the doctor! hee, hee. I am only 5 ft. 2, so I know what you mean. Marquis is almost 6 foot and I think this is why I am so big! There is no where for the weight to go for me!
It was nice to visit my friend. The two year old is kind of wild! We are watching a movie and resting as well. I am excited.

Picked up the Bugaboo and its in really good condition. Its gone straight in the garage but the DVD on how to operate is is here with me so I'll have a look at that before dinner tonight as there's nothing on telly!!

ok, I am so moving there! That is great. full pay for six months! wow! I will probably have to go back after six weeks and that is only paid at 60%. Which is better that most jobs, which is no pay. I do have two weeks, almost three built up so that will be nice to use. I would love not to go back until Jan!
I am resting tonight. I am going tomorrow to see a friend that has a 2 year old.

Glad I'm not the only one not finding out the sex!! I think I'm going to enjoy having a surprise
can't wait....We are going to keep the pram in the garage (its separate from the house) cos of the bad luck thing... apparently as long as its not actually in the house you're ok?! My parents live abroad and all my friends have flats and not houses so I don't really have a choice!!
Im a bit worried about the growth but there is plenty of movement, so I'm just hoping it'll catch up at some point along the line as I'm measuring small. Slightly panicked but trying not to think about it!

That is so exciting!! i'm so happy for you - you will truly enjoy having the pics and dvd to pop in whenever you feel like it! I'm almost happy that I got put on high-risk so I can see how he's developing - wouldn't be the same only seeing him once or twice... Good for you - and that brings me to the question - have you persuaded Phil to find out the sex?? I mean this is a perfect opportunity...
We are heading to a friends birthday party tonight, I'm going to watch a horse show tomorrow morning then a graduation party tomorrow, then hopefully go see the new Batman movie, then another grad party on sunday...we started out having no plans!!!Other than that you will find me relaxing!! Jazz is trying to tucker Dixie out before we leave, I feel so bad when we leave her while at work all day and then go and leave her all evening - so he's got the frisbee going so she should be pooped by the time we leave. have only had a few contractions today - not nearly as many as yesterday... It is so hot here today!! I cant wait to see your pics!! Congrats again!

HEY YOU!!!! How ya doin?? Wow, you lucky thing going for a 3d/4d scan...although that means you'll find out the sex of the baby unless you tell them you want to avoid that area so that you don't find out?!!
That is very exciting news though and I can't wait to see what your little one has been up to! I prob won't go for a 3d scan cos I might have to have a growth scan in a couple of weeks (as the growth appears to have slowed a bit 
) and then another one at 36 weeks to check the placenta so I'm a bit worried about all the scans for the bubs! BUT my exciting news is that I am picking up the Bugaboo tomorrow!! Yey!!! So excited. Good luck for the scan, I bet you can't wait and I'm looking forward to seeing the pics

Hey!
So I am just relaxing at home with my pup (who wants to play constantly!) while Jazz is off golfing... I'm catching up on emails and books and I sure hope that I don't get put on bed rest because I may go nuts! People will get so tired of hearing from me - ha! So I am planning to do the 2 hour lunch thing for now and see how it works... I figure that if I keep feeling contractions then I will keep cutting back my hours - but if I'm not really having them then I will remain where I am. Other than the contractions I feel great and comfy and lots of energy. So... But I think that doing that should be enough along with doing less at night - especially in the heat!
So the girl that rides my horse for me while I'm not able to sent me a text that my horse accidently stepped on one of the barn chickens today
- its ok but isn't that the most outrageous thing! I had to chuckle. We haven't actually got the bedroom set yet - it is ordered though. I have to put our current set up for sale - hopefully we will get a taker for it. Google search B618 Hathaway to see our new furniture - I was so taken by it!
My parents dog seems to be doing much better thanks! My mom was able to go to the concert too. She has an appointment with a specialtist when she comes back - hopefully it is something they can treat and not terminal...
I can't wait to get back to exercising.. I registered for one of those baby joggers - Jazz and I were saying that next spring and summer we are going to take Dixie and Hayden out for jogs/walks alot - maybe even train for some 5K races to get back in shape! Thats one bad thing about having a baby in October - we will be stuck inside all winter, but that can also be a good thing since you can't do too much with a newborn anyways...
My ankles and feet haven't been too bad lately...I've got some days that are much worse than others, but then again I don't have to stand for long periods of time on them. How much longer until your break from work? Are you planning on doing much? Where do Phil's parents live? Is it far away? Well I'm going to go through my 200 or so emails on my aol account since I don't spend that much time on there either!

oh my gosh it's been a long time!!! so sorry for that. i've just had so much stuff to preoccupy me lately, and i don't have internet yet at home, just at work.
well....i'm feeling lots better. i finally, just got over that nasty cough i had...after trying so many different things. also, my ribs are better too. my side is still slightly sore if i put pressure on it or lay on my side, but other than that, i have no complaints and have been doing well. LOTS OF MOVEMENT LATELY......oh my gosh!!!! lot of kicking/stretching/ rolling/ jabbing me in the ribs...hahaha. starting to get a little short of breath too these days with my lungs and everything feeling a little squished.
as far as work goes...i think i'm pretty much gonna work right up until the end, or as long as i can. we'll just have to see how things go. my husband and i are still trying to save for when i'm out of work, and i just kinda want to minimize the amount of time i'm out before the pregnancy, and maximize it for when the baby is here. that's great that you have that time to use to kinda relax here and there and take the time off. that's great.
i'm doing really good though lately, how about you?? i hope all is well and that everything is great for you!! you take care hun!!!!

Hey!
Just got back from the high-risk doc - he said I am 28 weeks 1 day and due October 8th! My cervix measured 3.3 (last time it was 2.8) so that is great! The baby is 2.9 pounds - right on schedule for 28 weeks. Only thing is I am having contractions...not good. He said if I don't take it easy bed rest is in my near future =( So I'm changing my schedule a bit at work - I normally work 7-4 with a 1 hour lunch so I'm not sure if it would be better for me to work 8-4 with a one hour lunch or 7-4 with a 2 hour lunch...
Anyways I have to work but will talk to you later!! Hope you are having a great day!

ok, you so made me want to eat french fries! or chippies! ha! I will get all the lingo down.
I know about the swollen feet and ankles. It sucks. I hope that when I go back it will not be so bad. I had to buy some new pants and tops today. My old pants just were not working anymore. They were cutting into my stomach, eventhough they were maternity. I remember thinking how huge they were! Yikes!
Why don't you get another scan? You have to wait until baby gets here? I get one every month I think with the specialist doc.
It sounds like a great time for you and your honey to relax, get things ready and just enjoy before the baby comes. I wish we had that. I am afraid before we know it, she will be here and there will not be much of us time left!
I don't know. I asked the doc yesterday about mat. leave and he says he won't let me go beyond 39 weeks. That seems so close! So, I guess I will try and take a week off before that week? I am totally clueless about it, but I have to get the papers filled out and returned. how many weeks does England give you off. You get six weeks for vaginal and eight for cea. I don't know...
off to lay on the couch...I have been sucked in to BBC america and watching cash in the attic and clean house!

I see the specialist next week. I can't wait. They usually do the u/s and I get to see her. I went to the regular gyno today and he said the baby's heartbeat is good and she is kicking like crazy. I don't think she likes that gel that the docs put on your stomach!
I had to wait until today to finish moving things. It rained all day Sunday here and most of yesterday. I was so lazy on Sunday as well. I watched crappy tv on Sunday and met my friends for lunch that are not teachers and work during the summer. It is soooooooooo hot and muggy here, so I went into a store and spent too much money. I have to cut back. I am so happy that the stuff is moved. We spent most of today doing it and it is starting to look like all will be ok in the nursery. I thinkg things are looking so much better. Now, I can tell Dad to order crib.
It sounds like your mom had a great birthday. I have been eating too much as well! I was yucky last night after dinner! My own fault!
ohhh, two weeks off! What are you going to do? Vacation? Get room ready, etc?
I have to decide when I am going to start maternity leave. I have to fill some papers out and get started with that...how am I supposed to know when she is coming!!!

Hey!
So heart palpitations - that sounds scary! Are you still having them? Is it when you are moving around or just relaxing?? Does your B12 injection bother you at all? How's your mum and dad these days? Have you seen much of them?
My whole family is heading to this country music festival tomorow until Sunday - they camp all week and have concerts all day. Jazz and I have gone the past 2 years and my sis is giving me crap cause we aren't going this year since we won't be able to go with the baby after this year. I could not imagine camping in a tent in this heat while everyone is partying and stuff while I'm just miserable - no way, not for me!!
Their 8 year old dog that we've had since a pup has some growths that are getting worse so my mom was thinking she was going to have to take him to a vet hospital today...she may not get to go to the concert..
Have you and Phil been getting on good lately? Any news from Lee? hehe Does Phil still talk to your tummy? We broke down and ordered a king size bed (actually the plan was to get a bed that matched our furniture but we came across this gorgeous set on sale and we couldn't pass it up! It's the most beautiful bedroom set I've ever seen.) So it actually works out better trying to fit the bassinet in our bedroom with the new furniture... The nursery is much more cleaned out now but still not painted and we moved all the furniture around in the family room so we could bring the recliner/lazy boy chair up from the basement. It will be a perfect comfy chair that rocks and reclines to nurse in... I had them put it in front of the fireplace so we will be nice and cozy this winter.
Well I'm off to cook some dinner - salads with breaded Tilapia fish - yummy! I have been pigging out so bad lately I need to get in some healthy meals! I seriously feel like I eat and pee all the time!

I'm back online - thank goodness!! It was torture for the past 2 weeks! I have just posted new pics and my water is boiling for my dinner - pasta of course!! My appetite has definitely grown lately and I feel like I'm constantly eating and peeing! Have you heard much about the supplement DHA? I just got an over the counter bottle of it and we'll see - they say its good for eye and brain developement for the baby. I am nearly legally blind so my baby needs all thehelp i can give him - unless he gets his daddy's eyes (perfect 20/20 and light blue...) cross your fingers - ha.
Now that I am back on we can catch up on all the other details...I bet you are counting down the days till your break from work!!

How are you doing after that big scare of yours? You poor thing... I'm so glad that everything is ok now!! Sounds like even more of an excuse to rest and be comfy!!
As you can tell by my lack of time on here we still don't have internet at home. Something with the cable company's hook-up to our house. It was supposed to be fixed Saturday but no such luck - I will be calling to complain again tonight!
I just got my gums lasered a bit (no novacaine - ouch!!) so I can now schedule the appt with my dentist to get my implants made - woohoo!! I do the glucose test wednesday and then my high-risk appt on thursday - lots of docs!!
I'm really ready to not work so much, I'm pushing for part time here real soon!
We just ordered new bedroom furniture - and a king size bed - yippee! Now I just have to finish the nursery... I scheduled for the birthing class on August 9th and then I'll take a breastfeeding one too but not sure when.
Well, I have to get back to work

I am doing better today. A little tired as always, but I do feel better.

It is raining here today and dreary. I actually like it. It gives me every reason not to even try and go out! HA!
On Sunday, Marquis and I are moving all the stuff we don't need to storage and arranging the room. So, this will be good. I told him last night that it would make me feel lots better and much stress would be gone, since school starts so soon. I think that made him realize that I do have stress!!! Men.
I wished I had got a movie....with this rain, but i guess there is always something to do -- slowly!!!

Hi how are things with you??? Good I hope. I managed to get rid of the rubbish m/wife and made a formal complaint about her. I have my usual m/wife back again and she told me they'd had loads of complaints about the other one!! So she prob won't be doing clinics anymore until re-trained
so I'm happy now!Have you been buying anything else recently? I've been quite well-controlled and kept my credit card in my purse.....for now anyway hahaha
