I am 14 weeks now and I feel pretty good. Not as tired any more and I am becomming more active. I still go the the gym 4 days a week!! Unfortunetly I still get alot of growing and ligament pains in my sides but they come and go and I am getting use to them. I am also becomming more and more excited to be a mother.

Monday, 4 Feb

I AM 16 WEEKS. I am feeling pretty good. Not as tired as I use to be. I still go to the gym 4 days a week to make sure I don `t gain too much weight through this pregnacy. I have gained a total of 6lbs so far. I randomly get some sharp growing pains in my lower rib cage area and in my hips. I still get up about 3-4 times a night to go to the bathroom. So far so good.

Wednesday, 6 Feb

Went to the Dr. today and it was reasurring after all the streching pains I have been having. I got some Tylenol #3 `s for my headaches cause the doc said if I have migraines that the headaches will only get worse but I am kinda on the fence about taking those. I heard the heart beat again and she said my baby was good and active (too bad I can `t feel that yet) 150 beats. I told her about my pains too and she just said I am in the stage where I will be doing alot of streching. I can `t wait until Feb 26th when I get to find out the sex. So far so good.

Friday, 15 Feb

I felt the baby move for the first time yesterday! I thought I was having a muscel spasim but then it kept happing in a row at a fast rate. I put my hand on my stomach and I felt tiny thumps. It was so amazing to know that you have a baby inside of you developing every day and feeling movements and kicks just lets you know that this is real.

IT `S A BOY!! ZAVIER WAS KICKING UP A STORM AT THE DR. `S OFFICE TODAY. MY HUSBAND GOT TO FEEL A KICK FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY. IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING THING I HAVE EVER SEEN. I MY LAST U/S HE WAS JUST A LITTLE BEAN AND NOW HE IS A FULL BABY WITH ARMS AND LEGS AND A PENIS...LOL IT IS SO GOOD TO KNOW WHAT I AM HAVING NOW BECAUSE IT IS SO MUCH MORE REAL THAT I AM NOT CALLING THE BABY IT ANYMORE. I COULDN `T BE MORE HAPPIER. A HAPPY HEALTHY BABY WHO IS GROWING JUST FINE

Well I went to the ER last night because I was having a pain in one side that was just getting worse over time. They took tests and said it was either my cyst that I had before I got preggo, kidney stone which I have had many times before I got preggo, or a bladder infection. The Dr. said it will be painful but I will be fine in about a week. I could take tyl 3 if the pain gets where I can `t tolerate it. I really don `t like taking anything but if it is a kiney stone I will have to those things hurt so bad. While I was at the ER in the labor and delivery side which I didn `t know I had to report to if you go to the ER and you are over 20 weeks a women came in who was in labor. I wished with every moan and screem I heard that it was me delivering my child. I can `t wait. When I had the monitors attached to my stomach he kept kicking them off. My husband thought it was the funniest thing...lol In my room they had the bed that they place the bed in after delivery and I thought it was the most presious thing ever. 3.5 more months to go and counting.

hey girl.. UPDATE for ya.... got the monostat for the yeast issue.. but at my dr appt today they saw how grossly swollen i was, along with high BP 145/90 and protein in my urine -- along with this past month i gained a whopping 15 pds... UNHEARD of, in water weight from being swollen with edema.. He diagnosed me with the start of Toxemia/preclampsia.. I am scared to death.. I go back next week on Tues for more testing and am on bedrest so to speak till then.. Hows that for a turn out to this ?? So many unanswered questions, too.. I am so nervous and so scared inside... I guess I should just take it easy but thats what i had been doing for the past week and a half since my little discharge problem.. Dr said it was amniotic leakage too by the way... Anyhow i am sleepy and just wanted to update you... Grrr... I think i a, going to be early with this, and my prayers are that I and baby Sebastian are ok... Blessings to all.... More to come...

Its completely amazing how just a couple months ago I was sitting here big and pregnant, about to pop, talking to you everyday about everything and how I couldnt wait to be a mom and now she's already been here for 7 weeks! Okie...well if i'm having a rough night, i'll take 2. I was paranoid and was taking 1 and it wasn't doing anything for me either. I kept forgetting to ask him, if I could take the full dose. Thanks for that. I have been sleeping pretty good the last few nights...I hope it stays! Everything is good. 10 more weeks, and I can't wait! Hope you are doing well! *hugs*

where are you having ur maternity pictures done? i'd like to have some taken, but i'm not sure where i should go and what poses to do....I would love to take some almost nude pictures with a sheet wrapped around "sensitive areas"...but lately, i just feel so swollen and pudgy that i don't know if they'll turn out quite how i want them to. I think the pregnant body is beautiful tho, i just have to get past all of the "my changing body" self-esteem issues!

hey how have u been? make sure you stay hydrated as it gets hotter. I read that being dehydrated can cause preterm labor (it releases more oxytocin and can start contractions). I've been having the lower pack aches and abdominal cramps from not drinking enough water.... if you start feeling that, just drink a glass of water...it always makes it go away for me!!!

Thanks, I thought I was doing the right thing too. Now I am not sure. We are supposed to move in together on 5/17, we were already approved for the apartment. I just want to know what I should be planning for. As time goes by, I am going from sad to angry. I want to call him and tell him it's time for him to figure out whether he's going to step up or step out. I've waited for long enough. On top of that, I have been upset about this for the last month. I am tired of being upet at a time I should be happy! If I am doing this alone, I want to accept the fact, embrace it and do it, ya know? My mind is tired of wondering and waiting.

ANYWAY...I am still so impressed that you manage to exercise as much as you do. I work on the second floor at my office. I counted last week and went up the stairs 14 times in one day. I consider this my exercise program =) It seems to be working pretty well lately too. I actually lost 4 pounds at my last appt. I would be worried but since I had gained 10 the month before, I am now pretty close to where I should be.

I had to go to L/D a month or so ago myself. I was having mild contractions (didn't really hurt much). They told me to drink more water and that pretty much did the trick. Glad things are going well! Talk to you soon.

I doing wonderful. my sister is 14 wks pregnant and gave us a scare but now that she's doin better I feel less stressed! my final r the 3rd and 5th can't wait until that's over! I'm still be working but going home after work sure will be better then going to class till 830! I've had one baby shower already my sorority gave it to me 2 weeks ago! it was fun and exciting! my other big baby shower is june 15th we r doing the nursury this weekend... keep in touch!

Hi! Yeah, things have been pretty rough as of late. For now, it looks like it's just me. My boyfriend and I started having troubles about a month ago. I'm not exactly sure what the issue was/is. I think he is just getting scared and since I'm petrified myself at times, I can't blame him. So last week I told him I was tired of him treating me the way he had been (it wasn't bad, it just was so different) and even though we've talked about it until we're blue in the face, nothing seems to change. He told me he loved me and he wanted to be with the baby more than anything, but he's not sure about what he wants for "us". I asked him to leave until he figures it out. So...here I am...not so patiently waiting for some sort of conclusion. I am very near to calling him, but I am trying my best to just let it be for now. After all it was my idea for him thave some alone time. - Enough of my drama...How about you? How have you been doing? Pregnancy itself has continued to be VERY easy for me. It's those damn pregnancy hormones I am not tolerating well! Hope everything is going great. I am mailing shower invitations tonight. Can't believe how fast it's all happening.

Dont worry about the name thing and what others think, its your baby. A friend of mine said she had her husbands family say they would call her first baby 'baby' until she chose a better name than 'Angel'!!! Cos they didn't like it. The child is still called Angel!

Hey girl I am doing good and super excited. I am having my baby shower this weekend and can't wait. We just bought a crib and set it up last weekend and also bought the bedding. I started decorating a little bit but I am still waiting for the dresser to come in cause we had to order it. My OB appts. are every other week now and soon it will be once a week. It's soooo exciting to be at the finish line.

I know what you mean about school being extra tiring during pregnancy! I just finished my last ever BA class, and it was such a nice feeling! I still have two papers, exams and a three week practicum to go this term, but I feel like I have reached one milestone, and will get through the rest! Are you nearly done your term too? You must be pretty excited that your husband is getting out of the military, and that you will be able to settle down somewhere for good in September! It is really fun looking at houses! We found one and our offer was accepted, but we won't get in until July 1st, then my husband will have lots of reno's to do before I can move into it... I am actually hoping that the baby comes a little bit late so that my hubby has time to finish and we can move the baby into the house on the first day back from the hospital! By the way, I like Xavier with an "X", great name choice!
