I am 14 weeks now and I feel pretty good. Not as tired any more and I am becomming more active. I still go the the gym 4 days a week!! Unfortunetly I still get alot of growing and ligament pains in my sides but they come and go and I am getting use to them. I am also becomming more and more excited to be a mother.

Monday, 4 Feb

I AM 16 WEEKS. I am feeling pretty good. Not as tired as I use to be. I still go to the gym 4 days a week to make sure I don `t gain too much weight through this pregnacy. I have gained a total of 6lbs so far. I randomly get some sharp growing pains in my lower rib cage area and in my hips. I still get up about 3-4 times a night to go to the bathroom. So far so good.

Wednesday, 6 Feb

Went to the Dr. today and it was reasurring after all the streching pains I have been having. I got some Tylenol #3 `s for my headaches cause the doc said if I have migraines that the headaches will only get worse but I am kinda on the fence about taking those. I heard the heart beat again and she said my baby was good and active (too bad I can `t feel that yet) 150 beats. I told her about my pains too and she just said I am in the stage where I will be doing alot of streching. I can `t wait until Feb 26th when I get to find out the sex. So far so good.

Friday, 15 Feb

I felt the baby move for the first time yesterday! I thought I was having a muscel spasim but then it kept happing in a row at a fast rate. I put my hand on my stomach and I felt tiny thumps. It was so amazing to know that you have a baby inside of you developing every day and feeling movements and kicks just lets you know that this is real.

IT `S A BOY!! ZAVIER WAS KICKING UP A STORM AT THE DR. `S OFFICE TODAY. MY HUSBAND GOT TO FEEL A KICK FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY. IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING THING I HAVE EVER SEEN. I MY LAST U/S HE WAS JUST A LITTLE BEAN AND NOW HE IS A FULL BABY WITH ARMS AND LEGS AND A PENIS...LOL IT IS SO GOOD TO KNOW WHAT I AM HAVING NOW BECAUSE IT IS SO MUCH MORE REAL THAT I AM NOT CALLING THE BABY IT ANYMORE. I COULDN `T BE MORE HAPPIER. A HAPPY HEALTHY BABY WHO IS GROWING JUST FINE

Well I went to the ER last night because I was having a pain in one side that was just getting worse over time. They took tests and said it was either my cyst that I had before I got preggo, kidney stone which I have had many times before I got preggo, or a bladder infection. The Dr. said it will be painful but I will be fine in about a week. I could take tyl 3 if the pain gets where I can `t tolerate it. I really don `t like taking anything but if it is a kiney stone I will have to those things hurt so bad. While I was at the ER in the labor and delivery side which I didn `t know I had to report to if you go to the ER and you are over 20 weeks a women came in who was in labor. I wished with every moan and screem I heard that it was me delivering my child. I can `t wait. When I had the monitors attached to my stomach he kept kicking them off. My husband thought it was the funniest thing...lol In my room they had the bed that they place the bed in after delivery and I thought it was the most presious thing ever. 3.5 more months to go and counting.

I'm feeling the same as you... soo ready for the day to be over!! Woo-hoo our last day... I can't stand another day of working... I just want to do the same things as you... get in the pool and relax! I water jogged in the pool and I think that is what helped me dilate.

Girl I know what you mean, I can't wait to see my family, I'm gonna be staying with my mom and dad till he gets back from Iraq, I think being around my family will be good, and time will go by faster, cause I'm all by myself out here in GA, I get kinda lonely sometime..lol

lol you poor thing. yah i do know how you feel. only a few more days though!! It will alllllllllllll be worth it. Then it's odd walking around without your belly. I remember the 1st meal I had after she was born and I was waiting for my belly to start moving around. My Riley always moved around after I ate. I miss feeling her kicks and movements.Being a mommy is great, it's everything I always wanted. No, her POS biological sperm donor still hasnt called. I actually had a few drinks last night and called him. I was just going to ask him a couple questions and once he heard my voice, he hung up on me.I swear on my life, if I ever see him, someone is going to have to hold me back from hitting his ass. God I cant stand him. I got my 1st period since I had the baby and god, I didnt miss these. I have the worst cramps ever. Im thinking about making it a half day at work.

Hello, I hope your right about feeling like lowsy right before going to labor, if thats the case I should be going soon, for about a week now, I feel like crap. I cant walk right (only wable my ass around) cant sit because everything hurts, no matter what I do, little cramping, lower back pains, BH, and extreme presure down below as if baby wants out now!!!!! Im not spotting or anything so not sur whats going on, all I know is I want her out....Goo luck to you

I had my strep B done too, aww he's 6 pounds were hoping she gains 2 more before she comes out, she's weighing in a 4 pounds right now. I haven't dilated yet though...Yea I don't think I would be able to do it if he wasn't here. But yes he has to go back for another 7 months.... He wont be home for good until late December early January...

Hey!!! Everything is alright, still going to my appts twice a week, doing my Non Stress Test, she is still small last time they checked she was only 3 pounds and that was at 30 weeks, and tomorrow they will be weighing her again and checking her. I only have 4 weeks left, I cannot wait, and my hubby will be home for R&R soon so I'm preparing for that!! So hows everything with you??

I know what you mean about hot! It was 102 today. I was stupid enough to call in sick just because I couldn't handle the thought of moving this morning, so I didn't even get to sit in the air-conditioned office! Not like it matters anyway. I sweat like a pig, even when I'm in the air-conditioning. It's weird, I know I'm not hot but I'm still sweating. Kinda gross =( I waddle pretty bad too. I am just so huge! Had a dr.'s appointment today, but still nothing exciting. I think next week I get a u/s to see how big he is. I'm looking forawrd to it! Talk to ya later.

HUGE! She weighed 6lbs 2 oz and was 20 inches long! She lost weight too cause I am breast feeding so she now weighs 5lbs 10 oz. She is itty bitty and wearing preemie diapers and clothes! I was in labor for 17 hours and every minute of it was worth it!!! You will be suprised on how much you will love your son! How are you?

I'm doin well! I had my baby shower yesterday it was amazing! there was over 85 people there! thanks goodness we rented a huge spot. I got so so so much! I got gift certificates to my favorite boutique here!!! it was almost 2 truck loads! I can't wait to put the stuff up today I was so exhausted that I jus put the stuff in the floor it will give me something to do to pass this week! I feel like I'm couting doin days seconds anything to help me pass this time till I meet my baby girl! any signs of labor? not me I think I lost part of my mucus plug friday! not sure tho!

Yep 32 weeks and I got two steroid shots because they thought that I was going to go into full labor. So glad that did nto happen because at that time Mike was not here. I dialated quickly within two hours when all that was going on, but since have not budged. Sounds like you are going to be spoiled in that hospital. I decided just to go with Balboa Hospital which is a Naval Medical center but there tier3 meaning they are a well equipped and I have not seen the rooms yet but other ladies I have talked to said that it was nice. We will see I guess. Let me know how thing progress with you.

We live like 10 minutes away from Chula Vista that is where I usually go to shop, get hair cuts etc. Or downtown! But that is the closest. There are good parts of Chula Vista and not so good parts so really research it.
The pregnancy is good now, I had preterm labor contraction in my 32nd week. I was in the hospital, but all is fine now. I am mega hot too and I can not wait to get her out. Literally.We still have to get more stuff but her car seat and bassinet we have so I do not mind if she comes.
And no Mike is not on deployement, he was going to be originally underway but he was able to get TAD orders to another ship for two months, so he can be here for the birth. We got lucky that they granted his request. We are more then likely going to name her Khaila/Kaila I do not know how we want to spell it yet. (pronounced...Kyla)Her middle name Monae (pronounced...like Monet the artist)We are not sure on the middle name. I like Xavier too no middle name yet.

I know new borns they are a handful but all worth it. Where are you delivering in Virginia/Maryland.

I am still going to work! I don't see any reason to stop because when I am home all I do is stress out about things and it makes me more anxious. This week I did switch to half days. So I am only working 6 hours in the morning. It's so nice becase I work 3, 12 hour days usually.

Hey there, thanks for the pic comment! I am getting a little anxious for my little girl and can hardly wait. The days are going by sooooo slow! last Friday I was 2cm dialated, 75% effaced and at station 0. My midwife stripped my membranes and she thought that it would send me into labor but here I am and still pregnant. Oh well 6 more days until my due date! Hopefully she's not late, but the way that I have been feeling I really don't think she will be but who knows. How are you feeling?
