It should be okay to sleep on your belly. You will be able to tell when you shouldn't because it will get uncomfortable. It is best to sleep on your left side because it is the safest and allows for the most blood flow for you and the baby. Sleeping on the right side isn't incouraged because once the baby is bigger it will lay on your artery and cut blood flow, which is a bad thing. But, you don't have to worry about that until you are farther along. Your dr. should tell you when to start sleeping on left side.

I cant sleep on my belly, i feel there's a balloon inside.. so I mostly sleep on my side with a pillow between my legs, I read thats the safest :)

Hey i was just browsing through the weeks and saw your question. My doc says sleep however you want as long as you are comfy. I used to be a belly sleeper and i was worried that i would be squishing her but he said that its fine. I wake up some nights halfway on my belly and i am 33 weeks.

I don't know for sure yet. The Doc tried to see it today, but it didn't turn out too good, she gave us a 75% that it's a boy, so we don't want to say it is until we get the 99%! which would hopefully be next appointment at 18 weeks.

My Doctor has told me it's ok to sleep on my belly. She kind of joke saying maybe you wouldn't like it too much when you belly will get too big.

 aww your about the same size as me! do you ever feel huge one day then not so huge the next? I was worried I was having twins because of how big I go so fast, butmayeb its jsut because we have smaller frames?! anyways good luck to you and the baby:)

 what a cute tummy! Hard to tell what you are having from the way you are carrying yes. I am carrying high, and I am having a boy (but the talk is if u carry high it is a girl)... So I guess it varries with every pregnancy. Dying to hear your results next monday... definately let me know!

haven't even began to think of names going to find out the sex of the baby first that way half the thinking lol. 'i guess none of this is really real to me yet, it's like ok i know i'm prego i even saw it and heard the heartbeat but nothings really kicking in yet. like i even think thought i felt it move but in my head till it's a definit baby move it's still just gas. i think i'm slowly going crazy. sorry just needed to rant. later babymaker

 cute bump!<3 i think its too early to tell what it is by the way you're carrying, because your uterus hasnt even passed your belly button yet, so they baby doesnt have far to go. you'll be able to tell when you're a bit further....
