Hello, well here I am in my second pregnancy. I married my husband on July 14, 2007 and concieved our child soon after than. I have one 6year old boy, and Chad has one 3yrs old girl. At this point we are moving into a new house and preparing to merge the family as much as possible.

.

Baby Guess!!!!! Give me your best guess as to boy or girl! Heart rate has been anywhere from 104-167! This is my 16week pic. sorry its a bad pic, I'll let you know on Dec.6 who is right!

2weeks later :) 1week after baby Photobucket 12/17/07 update: baby refuses to let us see just what its hiding between its legs. :( So i guess we will be surprised. I was really hoping to buy some gender specific baby excessories. Evenflo has the cutes girl and boy stroller. Oh well.

update: 12weeks left...not a whole lot going on these days. Baby has gone into the "to stuffy in here" mode. I get a hard jab every once in a while but for the most part it just moves around an wiggles every now and again. Today the baby has definetly dropped my ribs don't hurt I'm not getting poked and kicked in my ribs...don't know if this is good or bad but I'm taking it as it is "sweet relief" my joints are achy and I have a feeling that baby is closer to coming than I'm going to be ready for. Of course when I'm still preggy 14weeks from now I'll be wishing I'd never said this. :) I'm going to try begging dr to do a quick u/s on the 11th just to see if we can tell boy or girl. I really need to get some things for this little one to wear. :)

FINALLY WE KNOW!!!!!!!!

2/22/08 - I AM SOOOOOO TIRED! The whole plan is to work till labor starts...but dear lord give me strength today I wonder how I'm going to work till the end of the day. Lets hope a weekend of rest will give me the strength to make it next week.

02/26/08 - thank the lord I've gotten over last week. I think it was more mental drain than physical. We bought the baby a closet full of clothes, blankets and jammers...socks, onsies and bathroom supplies. My mommy mode has kicked into high gear and I am getting so excited to have a baby. (I'm still scared to death of dealing with no sleep, pain of delivery, working after) but all my complaining is over for the mean time, I'm just to darn happy.

03/17/08 - Everyday I look on this site, I'm ashamed of myself for not feeling the same as everyone else. Every woman on here seems to be rushing thru the last months as fast as they can. I just want time to slow down. :( I am so sad this will be the last time I ever have a baby bumping and thumping around in me. I didn't appretiate it the first time I was pregnant, so I think I've been holding on a little tighter to this one than I should. I love feeling her move and watching her bunch up...and even though there is pain and discomfort associated with having a baby I feel guilty talking or expressing it, because I know I'll never have it again. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited to be having a baby and she is very much planned and wanted...I think I just wanted to be pregnant longer...if that makes any since at all. 6weeks to go, so maybe by the end I'll feel the same way they do...ANYTHING to get this baby out. :) But for now...I love this pregnancy and I love being pregnant and I'm so happy that I've had a chance to experiance such a healthy and happy pregnancy.

I am working until I go into labor, and may even work through some of that. I know it sounds kinda wierd, but I just think of it as exercise. I can't see myself being at home. I want to get as much done as I can before my little sweetie comes. I attribute a GREAT pregnancy to the fact that I'm constantly active. Don't get me wrong, my body tells me when to take breaks and I take them. Plus I'm saving all my time off to spend with my little boy. I feel very healthy, he's healthy and see no need to take off. Note: this is certainly not a criticism to those who decide to take off early and/or those on bedrest. I am just excited for all of us no matter how you decide to do it ;-) Have a blessed journey!

we working gals just wish we can go home and nap all day.....I envy you all sometimes.

I don't do as much anymore at work...nobody lets me do anything..so I'm like bored. Normally I am going to different locations but now I sit in the office all day..my mind wonders...I'm always on this website...and I'm always looking for baby things...I can't concentrate! and they got me a nice chair but what I really need is a bed...

My friends husband did that to her last time she gave birth too. She really wanted her mom and I there but if she allowed us, then she would have had to allowed her crazy mother in law...so she just respected her husbands wishes to avoid that drama and it was just the two of them. I like an audience...its like having cheerleaders.

I am trying to work up until the baby comes. I would really love to have all 12 weeks with the baby when she get here and not have to use my time before. I sit a lot which is good thing, but still get very uncomfortable in my chair at work. I work at the hospital I am delivering so I figure if I go into labor I'll already be where I need to be. I get up and walk to visit patients so I am not always sitting so I think that helps. I sure hope I can make it to the end and still feel semi comfortable.

babyaiden - Friday, 22 Feb
dont worry about working till the last minute, i know i sure am, youre not alone!!!

sarahm - Friday, 22 Feb
Yeah isn't that very odd how your body knows when it should do something. ;)

Well, I am sorry to hear your situation with your Ex and all, but it is nice to know I am not the only one who is going to have to continue working. :) My husband and I have never been ones that had to struggle (not that we have been married that long) and we are not 'struggling' now, BUT with the new addition and all we are a little more strapped for cash and I was really looking forward to that raise in hopes that it would help us get a new vechicle as well (I drive a mustang and there is NO room for baby). BUT, its not the end of the world and you are soo right that it is a major plus to get a month off paid!! That is def. whats keeping me at this job for now! That is so great that you will be able to take your little girl to work with you for a while! My mom is here in town so she will be keeping her until she is about 6 months, and then we are going to have to find another option, but I havn't started looking into day cares yet. What will you do when you can not take the baby to work anymore? What kind of new car did you get? hehe

first-time-mommy-to-b - Thursday, 21 Feb
That would be SOOO nice! But, I can pretty much guarantee its not going to happen! haha No, I am right there with you..I find myself playing on here quite often while I am at work. BUT, I got a huge blow yesterday and I am not to happy about it..I am coming up (march 7th) on my one year with this company and I was expecting a large increase in my salary. I expected this b/c I was hired on with the 'verbal' understanding I would be receiving a significant raise after I had been here a year and also since I have been with this company I have graduated with my BBA in Finance (which I was told would be adequetly compensated once I recieved this degree) well anyway, long story short too late, my boss calls me in his office yesterday to tell me while everyone else will be getting their yearly raises March 1st I will not be recieving mine. If fact, he actually said he was very pleased with the work I had been doing but he was not prepared to increase my salary as we had talked about in the past until I was back from maternity leave. I was very upset!! I have been waiting a long time for this and then he is not going to give me my raise b/c I am pregnant? Now, I guess he can't get in trouble for that b/c he didn't say it in so many words, he just said 'until after your maternity leave', but I am still upset about it. So...while it is probably not the right thing to do, I have been letting my work slack today and playing on the internet much more...I just might be looking for a new job while I am ON maternity leave. hehe I only get 4 weeks paid, so I really can't afford to take more than six. How about yourself? How long are you taking off with the baby? I feel for you with the being exhausted! I never knew I could get so tired!! hehe

babyaiden - Thursday, 21 Feb
yeah, i defineately feel your pain... i sit at my job all day too, and by the end of the day my right side of my back is KILLING me because i tend to lean to the left side. laying down is ok, but it hurts to lay on anything but my side, and im defineately a back sleeper. but when i lay on my back i get leg cramps and it makes my hip bones hurt really bad, so yeah, i feel ya, and dont worry about being whiney, its what us pregnant women do best!!!

first-time-mommy-to-b - Thursday, 21 Feb
You poor thang! It sounds to me like the baby is just comfortable on one side of your belly...but that has to be uncomfortable for you. Then again, I have no idea...but I do know that my little one bunches on one side sometimes! How have you been feeling other than this? Are you going to try and work up until delivery? I am finding it more and more difficult to keep myself at work! hehe

mavy143 - Thursday, 21 Feb
I am thinking it is baby. I feel that when I am on the NST monitor and no contractions show on the paper...
I think I am starting to get the rib thing...
And WTF, seriously someone messaged you that? Nasty people I tell you!!!

So, OMG yeah...3 kids to get ready in the morning....it can be done (Speaking from no experience whatsoever!! LOL)

I got the pediatrican done this am...left a message about birthing classes...I feel accomplished today LOL

JoJosFirst - Thursday, 21 Feb
Thanks for your comment. I'll probably hit ya up for those tips later on :)

first-time-mommy-to-b - Thursday, 21 Feb
A meet the baby shower sounds like such a good idea!! That will be alot of fun!! How have you been feeling? Are your ribs any better?

mavy143 - Thursday, 21 Feb
Hey!!
How are you feeling today? Any better with the baby rib situation?? Mine started to slip there today...I think she is also training tae bo!!

So, I asked Perinatal Dr about taking birthing classes...he said after 34 weeks I can start. I am going to check into classes at my hospital at thattime. I was thinking at least take the 1 day class...and than I would like to take a breastfeeding class and a baby safty class....LOL Break out the trapper keeper!! I am going to school LOL

mavy143 - Wednesday, 20 Feb
I just can not take classes because I am on bed rest. I am thinking about ordering a video. I am thinking that if I make it past 37 weeks, I can at least take a one day class.

Yay, maybe my old ones will just turn pink! I dont mind that! My first daughter already gave me deep long ones!

mitzumama - Wednesday, 20 Feb
Try getting on all fours. Tilt your back up like a scared cat, then bend it down like an old horse. I know it will be hard to do at work, but if you can do it, repeat it for a few minutes and see if that adjusts your baby a bit. It usually works for me. It's a very yoga-sentric approach, but sometimes yoga just knows best.

mitzumama - Wednesday, 20 Feb
Really? She did that? Which girl? I can't believe it. Let's start a talk about baby clothes or something. That way when people come to see what the big fight is all about they will be too bored to even read all the way back down to where it got exciting today. Ha! I am just glad it's not me going crazy this time.

mitzumama - Wednesday, 20 Feb
Sometimes we prego's get kind of crazy. I am always surprised how heated we can get over tiny things. We find out through all of our hot debate that it all really boils down to one of us having a terrible day and another of us being sensitive and three of us being hungry and tired and by the time we figure this all out, we have totally attacked fourteen women who never meant to argue with anyone! It's just a little bit funny.
I am sorry your baby is up under your ribs. My first baby was up there all the time... a girl. This one is very, very low. So I get a lot of lower back pain. I went to see my prenatal chiropractor today and I always like that.
Try not to get too frazzled by the military vs. non military war of 2-19-2008! I am sure it will be over and forgotten soon. Your points were valid, just a bit strong I guess. I don't think anyone blames you for this little war. It really seems to be that one squeaky cog that cannot let go. She will have to find something else to talk about soon, I hope.

snowwhite5thbabe - Wednesday, 20 Feb
I've nursed in public just under a large shirt...

mitzumama - Tuesday, 19 Feb
hee hee. I knew you'd come around. I've done it too. If I ever go trooper on here I will expect that you keep me in line too! LOL!
