So i just got done with work which wasn't too bad. I am feeling the baby kick ALL the time and i love it. Its amazing that God can give you such a wonderful gift out of something sooo bad! I only have 3 more days untill i know what i'm having. How exciting. I am pulling for a girl, but who knows. Either will be so fun!

Good morning ladies! How are you all doing? I just got home from nursing school and am heading off to my normal day of school now. Today and tomorrow are going to be so tough! Trying to stay focused when i find out tomorrow at 2:45. My mommy, my dad, my aunt, and my best friend are going with me to the ultrasound its going to be amazing! I will be sure to put pictures up!

Also my friend Rachal just gave birth to a B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L baby girl Kaydence Marie on Friday.

I'm now 25 weeks prego. I can't beleive i only have 15 weeks left. Its going by sooo fast.

Next Tuesday i have my sugar test done. Ew.

And my baby shower is the 10th how fun!

All my friends from school are coming i cannot wait.

DECEMBER 14, 2007

So its deff. been a while since i've been on. I've been really busy with normal school and then my college classes too! Ugh. I'm ready for her to be here!! I'm so sick of looking at everything for here and still having 9 weeks left! I still can't believe that its been almost 8 months allready though. I had my last 1 month appt. on the 4th and now i go in on Tuesday the 18th. She is measuring a little big..hopefully a little sooner? I can't wait to meet her! So i pretty much got everything that i needed at my baby shower that i had with my firends, but my mom still decided to give me a family one! Thats on January 11th. All my cousins are coming and aunts so that should be pretty fun, i just have no idea where i'm going to put everything. So we started on the nursery a few days ago and its pretty much all ready to go. I just have to find some bedding that i like to put in there and set up the crib and were all set. Well i will be sure to update when i go to my next appt. and let you know whats going on. I've got to head out to work here. Take care!

January 15, 2007.

So its been a while since i wrote agian.

A lot of things have been happening.

The baby's room is all done and i've got everything i need =] Its a nice feeling.

Anyways 2 weeks ago i was in Meijer's with my mom and my sisters and my water started leaking. So embarrasing!!!! So we went home and called the doctor and they wanted me to come it. So i went to the ER and they sent me home after 3 hours because they did an ultrasound and i had enough amniotic fluid for the baby. They just told me to drink lots of fluids. So i did and last Tuesday my docotor wanted me to come in a check just in case...so i went in and i was leaking or anything and they did anoher ultrasound. They were liek so this is deff. a girl..haha i was glad becuase they were like 90% it was, but still i didn't want to have everything if it was a boy. So she said i had a high leak and it must have repaired itself of something. Well she was wrong! Friday in school it started leaking agian..so she had me come into the office and she did some test and what not. Well i had more fluid than before because i had been drinking like a liter of water a day. So since then everything has been good. Yesterday i had a test done and a check up. Shes measuring good, but i've been throwing up alot and feeling crappy everything i eat so today i've got to get some blood work done and wait for those to come back.

SOOO only 30 more days =] I can't believe it!

Jan. 20, 2008.

3 weeks and 5 days left. I'm hoping sooner . Eh school is becoming hard i can't fit into a desk..its depressing..haha. But i'm only going up to school until Feb 1 if i haven't had her allready and then i'll have 2 weeks left and i'm wanting to come back March 1 we'll see though if i'm ready. Theres no way i can throw away everything so i need to finsih my senior year! Good news i passes my state exams on nursing =] So i can get a job drawing blood after the baby comes i can't wait =]

Jan. 24, 2008

So i had my doctors appt. on tuesday and everything was good. I got my results back from my group strept test or something like that and they were negative so that was good. I got my blood work back..and everything was good with that. My blood pressure went down..thank God. So next week i go back on Tuesday and get checked for dialation. Hopefully were going somewhere because i am so ready to be done!

Jan. 29, 2008.

So i had my doctors appt. today. I didnt' get my doc. since she got called in..so i get checked next week hopefully unless shes here! I got on a maternity leave Monday since my blood pressure is high and i have to lay on my side as much as i can until she's here..so yeah thats kind of a bummer. I still can't believe she's going to be here in 2 weeks and 2 days! I can only imagine what shes going to look like...

FEB. 3, 2008.

UGH! I can't change my background color to the color of the screen. How dumb? Anyways..wow time is cracking down i can't believe it! My feet have been starting to swell so bad this weekend. I went out Friday with some of my good friends we did dinner and a movie, that was nice since i haven't been out much to do anything since my life consists of sleeping and school pretty much. Yesterday i moved all of my maternity clothes out of my room and put them away and moved in all of my old clothes. It was so nice =] This morning i went to church with the fam. So uncomfortable sitting there! Then after church my mom and i moved the changing table and the bassinet(sp?) into her room for when she watches the baby. It was nice since a lady from church gave us an extra changing table..thank God for that. Its still crazy thinking she is going to be here pretty much anyday from now on out...it hasn't hit me yet still after 38 weeks that there is a fricken baby inside of me. And its so weird how you can love someone SOO incredibly much who you've never even met in your life. Life is such a precious gift. Well i've done my venting for the day. I have the diaper bag packed and the car seat ready to go all thats left is packing my bag. Oh the joy of that..haha. So i've got to find some motivation to do that.Well i hope things are going well with all of you and i'll update after my appt. on Tuesday.

SHE's COMING SOON..LIKE FRIDAY!

So i went to the doc. this morning and it was crazzzzy! I've been breaking out really bad from this rash i thought was from cocoa butter, but its not it's because i'm ready for the baby to be here. I'm also retaining water so i'm a bit "puffy" they said and my blood pressure is still pretty high. Anyways she uhm..watched the baby's heart beat and it was like 116-119 and usally she's around 132-133. So i got hooked up to the monitor for a while..and they then decided i'm having this thing early!! Thursday night i'm getting induced with the pill the stick up there, and they will monitor me all night. After 5 hours if nothing happens they are going to try another pill to start things. My doc's in a 7:00 am on Friday and she'll break my water if i'm not anymore dialated since i'm only about 1 cm right now. And if they can't start anything from that then they are giving me something through an IV i forget what its called it starts with a P though. And then i'm having a c-section if nothing happens. I can't believe i'm gonna be a mama this weekend. Its so crazy. She's going to be a week early..

My guess for the weight is 6 lbs 12 oz

and for height is 18.5"

Oh boy. I'm starting to get nervous now. Only 8 more hours until i go in and get induced. Well i will put the story up when i get home..

SHE'S FINALLY HERE!!

THE BIRTH STORY:

I went in Thursday Feb. 5 for my induction. I arrived there around 9:30 and got my pill insereted around 10:00 PM. Finally around midnight i started getting contractions, but i really couldn't feel anything i could just see them up on the screen. Around 2:00 AM i was beggining to feel contractions so i woke my mom up and had her go for a walk with me. I walked until 3:45 and then they finally gave me some meds through the IV. I was getting checking at 4:00 to see how far i was dilated. I was a wopping 2cm dialated. They said they were going to wait a couple more hours(3) and recheck me to see where i was dilated. They came in agian and realised the pill wasn't doing anything so they started me on Petocin(sp?) They checked me agian a couple times throughout the morning and i hadn't dialated at all so they upped the dosages. At 2:00 PM i was still at 2cm and having horrible contractions, my doc. came in and said she was ready to give me the epidural. Best thing i ever did. I was really hessitant at first, but my mom talked me into it. Later that night around 8:00 i was dialted up to 5 cm but it still wasn't going as fast as they had hoped. They came in at 10:30to check me and i was at 8cm. They figured in about an hour i'd be 9 cm. They came in at midnight and i was 9cm. They had me try to push because they wanted to see if i was pushing the right way. At 1:00 AM they came in to check me and i was still at 9cm..they came in at 2:00 to check me..still 9cm..they came in at 3:00 to check me still 9cm. Finally i felt like i had to take the biggest poop ever so i called the nurse to come in. She checked me and had me start pushing. I was pushing for about 15 mins and they stopped me because her head was facing sunny-side-up. They tried to turn her. Agian they came in at 4:00 and i was still at 9cm. My doctor told me i could wait it out and see if i could get to 10cm or i could go in for a c-section. I decided after about 20 mins that i would go with the c-section because i was in enough pain and sick of waiting. At 4:30 they took me down and i had Lexi at 5:07 AM on Sat. Feb. 9, 2007. Good thing i ended up with the c-section because my doctor said no matter what i would have ended up with one. I was in the hospital up until Valentine's Day because my blood pressure was so high. I am on meds for 2 weeks to see if it helps any.

Things are going great now that i'm home. My family has been such a great help with her =] She's amazing.

Yesterday though i had my first big baby scare. A few of my girlfriends from school had come over to see Lexi. One of them was handing her off to me and she was sleeping. Well she threw up all over..like a ton and it went threw her nose. Well since it went threw her nose she couldn't breath out of her nose..she started turning blue and her eyes rolled back. We had to call 9-1-1 and have an ambulance come. It was so scary. Turns out they got her breathing good and everything at the house so she didn't have to go to the hospital, but still...wow it was crazy.

But besides that i can't complian shes a great baby =]
