Friday, 8 August with our first we took a childbirth class... I was SOOO excited. As we went through it I really didn't learn anything I hadn't seen on discovery health, read in books etc. It seemed pretty basic to me.. hubby on the otherhand learned A LOT... too much maybe! haha... I think you'll do fine without classes.. I would just maybe recommend reading a book about some breathing techniques and natural pain relief methods (to use in case you want to go all natural, or until you are able to get an epidural!) Good luck! treacle -
Friday, 18 July My bf is a self employed builder and he has had no work now for 3 and half weeks, so im working like crazy and pulling some double shifts, i hope things get better soon because i only bring in enough to cover food and a couple of bills, not the rent, so if things dont pick up,they dont look good!! rae979 -
Wednesday, 16 July Thanks for the message. She said that it might be swelling since I flew yesterday, but I don't feel swollen...but my booty and thighs have grown considerably. I hope this weight comes off soon. Anyway, I hope the remainder of your pregnancy goes well. Take care! Keep in touch! shelm2 -
Sunday, 13 July Thanks for your message, and to be honest, just about everything about childbirth creeps me out! In this instance the less I know I think the better about the details, the better. I have really really low blood pressure just because that's the way the women in my family are and everytime I get blood taken or anything medical I seem to bottom out. On my first pregnancy I had to have my breech little girl turned and I bottomed out so bad that I had to have an adrenaline shot. For me actually, the pain would probably keep me from passing out, maybe I should consider it after all
. Good luck to you! cynlee47 -
Tuesday, 1 July We are actually headed down to the Gulf this weekend, I am going to have my bathing suit and shorts on. I don't think it matters what you wear as long as you are comfortable. You see all shapes and sizes there wearing pretty much anything (or close to nothing sometimes)...
Take care and have fun! beatlebabeplusone -
Tuesday, 1 July Just wanted to say with the whole swim suit thing I think you should do what you feel comfortable doing. My friend was brave enough to wear a bikini up until right before she had her baby where as I am not that brave (it also wouldn't be a pretty sight as I look like a beached whale with clothes on let alone in a swim suit) I think if you get a special maternity one you can't go wrong :) rae979 -
Friday, 27 June Thanks for the reassurance. Gosh, people can be just so rude. Yes, I know what I am having...it's a girl! Yeah...can't wait to meet her...
Thanks again, and best wishes! itskristen -
Wednesday, 9 April I agree with ppl thinking they feel the baby move. It doesn't matter if you've had other children. The baby is simply too small for it to be felt yet. I don't say anything to other ppl thinking they've felt it move--it makes them feel happy and close to their baby, but I don't think it can be felt this early. *AJLS* -
Wednesday, 9 April I'm with tmac on the baby movement lol - I posted something to the effect of - I doubt it's movement you're feeling - and nearly got my head chewed off lol - I've felt plenty of bubbles - but those are surely gas bubbles lol tmac -
Wednesday, 9 April i'm definately not feeling anything move besides gas pain. you can't feel the baby move this early. i think they are all just hoping to feel it. but i'd never post that up there haha jlynn -
Monday, 24 Mar I know. We could probably make a lot of money. lol!! But seriously, I agree with you. If we want a normal life, it has to go away. : ) noodle -
Sunday, 23 Mar Congratulations! I was 25 when I had my first baby. God is good! We are having to trust Him in some real ways right now too. CONGRATS! gr8scottswife -
Sunday, 23 Mar I, too, have the meat gags. I eat it, but not without psyching myself up first. Best wishes. barbarac -
Sunday, 23 Mar I've been having m/s at night. I can't figure out why. I feel my best in the morning, bad after 7pm. I can't wait for this to go away. Also any smell can make me go green, I can smell everything. Things I never smelt before. So strange. Good luck on the N/S going away. Barbarac jlynn -
Sunday, 23 Mar Oh my gosh, I so have issues with smells. My husband tells me that I could work for the FBI. I could track anything down because I smell everything. We really have not been able to cook in the house for two months. And, everything, even incense or candles smells wrong. You are not the only one. Hang in there, it shouldn't last the whole pregnancy monicagarcialv -
