Hello, My name is Francine. I'm 20 years old and pregnant with my first child. It's a boy! Well my baby's father is not in the picture. When I first told him I was pregnant he said he was going to be there but thats not the case now. It hurts alot that he is not there but its okay I'm going to make it with or with out him. This pregnancy was definitely not planned!

I confirmed my pregnancy on November 21th, 2007.

My period has always been very regular. At first I couldn't understand why my period hasn’t come. Being pregnant was the last thing on my mind. I had these bad period cramps thinking that my period has come. But there was nothing. My best friend, Celitta thought I was paranoid. So, when I was 5 days late the whole time I'm thinking to myself that my period is going to come. But I was in total denial.So for the next 2-3 weeks I just stop thinking about it. On November 20, 2007, later that day I went to Kroger to buy me pregnancy test at 10:30pm. After that I went to bed and woke up @ 3:45 in the morning. I decided to take the test while everybody was sleeping. I took it to the bathroom and *surprise, surprise* It was POSITIVE. I was in total shock and I couldn’t go back to sleep. So I call my mom (she is a LPN working the night shift) and the next day my mom took me to the clinic to confirm my pregnancy because she doesn’t believe the urine test. I went to the clinic and they took my blood sample. This indeed confirmed my pregnancy.Later that evening, I told my boyfriend the good news. He seems so happy and very supportive. But as I got farther in my pregnancy his attitude started to changes.
