06/08/2010 Had Dr. appt today. Me weight was 166. B/P was 90/52. Baby's heart beat was 155-160. I am measuring a loose 3cm, but I am only 50% effaced now. So I went backwards a little. Dr. Hoover set up induction for Monday 15th, 2010. I will have to be at the hospital @ 6. That's only if nothing happens from now till than. I've been having contractions, but nothing strong. Still feeling nauseated though. I'm so ready for that to be done w/.

06/02/2010 Was seen in L&D b/c of nausea and vomitting. I was not able to keep anything down all day. My mother in law took me about 5:45pm. My weight was 166. I was given and IV and 1 1/2 bags of fluid along w/ demarol to help w/ the nausea. They did a cath and labs, everything came back ok except for dehydration. Which we knew. Baby was all over the place. I had some contractions while on the monitor, but nothing major. Baby's heart rate was all over the board. It was in the 120-180. They were shocked on how active she was. Also had a lot of back pain while I was there. Finally they released me a little after 10, we then had to get a perscription for phenagren. It's been my best friend today. While I was at the hospital, they checked me and I was still 2-3 cm dilated and 70% effaced.

06/01/2010 Had ultrasound today to check baby measurements. My B/P was 102/64. My weight was 164, which is down from last week. So total weight gain now is only 4 1/2 lbs. Baby's heart rate is 152 by ultrasound. My stomach is measuring 39 weeks . Dr. Hoover checked me and I am still 3cm dilated but now 70% effaced. She also stipped my membranes. When she did that, there was very little bleeding. She said that if my body was ready, this would help jump start labor. She said baby looked healthy, so it wouldn't hurt me or the baby. According to the ultrasound, baby is measuring 6lbs 13oz which is where she should be. So not measuring on the big side. She is measuring in the 45% tile. I am carrying extra fluid, it was on the high end of the average, but nothing to be worried about. On the ultrasound, we were able to see baby's face. She has a really chubby face and big nose. Michelle said she has the Degraffenreid nose...lol. Also they took a picture of one of her hands. She has really fat fingers. The ultrasound tech also showed us that she has some hair. She couldn't see how much b/c it's hard for the machine to tell what hair is, but she could tell there was some in the back. So at least she won't be bald. My next appt is on Tuesday June 8th @ 8:45. Dr. Hoover also said that if I didn't have her by 39 weeks, she would induce me on June 14th, which is a Monday.

05/27/2010 Saw Dr. Hoover today for my normal check up. My B/P was 104/64. Me weight was 169 which is up a couple pounds since last appt. I am now up 9 1/2 lbs. Babys heart beat was in the 160's. My stomach measured 38 weeks. She checked me and I am a tight 3 cm dilated. She said she would give me a week or less before I have the baby. My next appt will be on Tuesday 06/01/2010, and they will do an ultrasound than. My appt is @ 10:20. She said that if I haven't had the baby by next appt, we would talk about induction @ 39 weeks. That's if I want. She said they could break my water and do pitocin if I wanted. But we would discuss it @ next visit. I asked her big she thought that baby would be, she said she would guess 7-7 1/2 lbs. She said i'm all baby. I asked her what the health would be of the baby if born now, and she said it's hard to say b/c the last thing to develop are the lungs. She said they rarely have babys w/ lung problems @ 37 weeks, but the rule of thumb is lungs aren't developed till 39 weeks. I also asked if sex was fine and she said yes as long as my water hasn't broke and i'm not having heavy bleeding like a period.

05/26/2010 Was seen in L&D today due to have contrations every 7-10 minutes. Some of them were very strong. Also when I went to the bathroom, I was bleeding. It was only when I wiped. There was a few blood clots on the tp, so I called my Dr. Spoke w/ the nurse practioner. She had me go to L&D. I arrived around 8:45. My weight was 169 according to there scales. My blood pressure was good, but my heart rate was up. It was 140 something. The baby's heart beat was in the 150's. Once hooked up to the monitor, the strong contractions stopped, but it showed I was having contractions one after another, but not strong one's to change me cervix. She went ahead and checked me and i'm still 2cm dilated and still 50% effaced. So no change. They send me home after being on the monitor for 1hr. I came back to work.

05/22/2010 Took Breanna shopping for her baby sissy. I let her pick something out that she wanted to buy for her baby sister. She picked out a Pooh Blanket. She's so excited about getting it. She's been telling everybody about it. Plus I bought a few outfits and a baby book. For Breanna I went ahead and bought her a baby so that when the baby is born, we can tell her the baby I bought her is from her baby sissy. Hopefully it was make Breanna feel apart of it. I'm getting really nervous about how she will be around the new baby.

05/21/2010 I started spotting, but I only noticed it when I wiped. So right now i'm just going to watch it and see what happens. Also my husband tells me today that he doesn't know if he wants to go w/ the name Kara that we had picked out for the baby. She the name is left up in the air right now. Hopefully we will come up w/ a name soon. He's got final say so in this name since I had final say w/ Breanna.

05/20/2010 Had appt w/ Nurse Practioner. My weight was the same as last time 166 1/2. B/P was 102/58. Baby's heart beat was in the 140's. My stomach was measuring 36 weeks wich is right where I should be. This appt she did the Strep B test. Waiting on the results for that. She also asked about the movement of the baby. She said I should be feeling her move 5x in an hour. I told her I don't. So she hooked me up to the NST machine. Baby would not move. The only way she got her to move was put me onw my left side, drink a bottle of water, and push on my stomach. She said I passed it, but almost did not. She said I need to make sure I am feeling the baby move. If not to call them. While i was on the NST, she could see that I was having contractions every 3-7 minutes. They were lasting about 30 seconds. Also she checked me and I am now 2cm, and 50% effaced. Baby is head down. She felt her head. Next appt is on Thursday May 27th @ 8:45 w/ Dr. Hoover.

05/11/2010 Had Dr. appt w/ Dr. Hoover. I am 34wks and 3 days. My B/P was 120/64. It's up from what it had been. My weight it 166. It's up a 1/2 lb from last visit which was 2wks ago. So now my total weight gain is 6 1/2 lbs. The baby's heart beat was in the 140's. Dr. says she is still head down. My stomach is measuring 36 weeks. So i'm starting to measure where I should be. She checked me to see if I'm dilated anymore and she said that I am actually fully dialted a 1cm. She said before I was dialted 1cm, but I was not dilated all the way. She said that my cervix is starting to thin out. Dr. also said my pelvis area is very inflammed. She said there is alot of inflamation and that's what's causing my pressure and pain. She said the maternity belt won't really help w/ that, but that to make sure I use heat when possible. She said there's not much you can do. She said that I probably need to take 1-2 days off work and relax and do nothing. She said i'm over doing myself. But w/ work and being so close, that's not going to happen. Next visit is in 1-2 weeks so they scheduled it in the middle for May 20th. My appt is @ 11:15. After that I start going weekly. During that visit, they will do the Strep B testing, and I will be checked weekly for changes in cervix/etc...

04/27/2010 Had my 32 week appt., it was w/ the NP. I am now up a total of 6lbs. They are really happy w/ my weight. My blood pressure was 100/64 which is good. The baby's heart beat was all over, but mainly in the 150's. She kept moving around so it was hard to keep it...:) My next appt in on May 05/11/10. I will see the Dr. than. The maternity belt has helped alot, even though I don't want to wear it at times. When I don't wear it, my back starts to kill me. So if I don't want to be in pain, I will wear it...:) My daughter Breanna, I think is getting excited about her baby sissy. She keeps choosing toys for her, and if we buy something, she asks if it's for her sissy. Even though we have not bought one thing for this baby yet. I'm using all of my daughters stuff.

04/15/2010 Went home to meet Eric for lunch before he left for his Linton Trip. Went to the bathroom and had a bunch of thick snot like stuff. Think I may have lost more of my mucous plug.

04/14/2010 Was seen in L & D today. I was having contractions like crazy. Come to find out, I have keytones in my urine, meaning i'm dehydrated. Plus the position of the baby was causing the contractios. I'm still dilated 1cm, so no change there. Went and picked up the maternity belt. Seems to make a difference.

04/13/2010 Dr. appt today @ 12:45. Baby's heart beat was in the 160's. Me weight was 163, the nurse said I stayed the same. So either I lost a lb from last week, or stayed the same. The Dr. went over the ultrasound. She said that was on the high side of fluid, but w/in normal limits. She said that's probably why i'm measuring bigger. I was measuring 34 weeks this time. She also checked me to see if I was dilated. I was 1cm dilated, but she said it was nothing to worry about. But to monitor my contractions. If they got worse, to give her a call. She also wrote me a perscription for a maternity belt to help w/ support. Next appt is in 2wks 04/27/2010 @ 11:30. She said that if the contractions don't get better, that she may have to be me off work earlier.

04/08/2010 I left work early today. My mother n' law took me home around 3:45. I was having alot of back pain, and contractions. Called the Dr, and they told me just to take hot bath and to rest. Take it easy. So that's what I did. I also didnt' go to work on Friday 04/09/2010 b/c I was still hurting. Not sure if baby is on the siatic nerve, or if it's back contractions.

04/07/2010 Lost my mucos plug right before I went to bed.

04/06/2010 Had ultrasound today b/c I was measuring 5 wks bigger at last Dr. appt. Baby looks good on ultrasound. She is head down facing my right hip. We weren't able to see her face b/c of this. She already weights 3lbs 2oz. According to the Dr, she is right where she should be. My weight is now 164. I've gained another lb. The babies heart beat on ultrasound was in the 150's.

03/330/2010 Saw Dr. Hoover Today. My weight was 163. I'm up 3 1/2 lbs the whole pregnancy. Blood pressure was good. The babys heart beat was in the 140's. My daughter went w/ me to the appt, and was able to hear the heart beat. It was so sweet. I'm measuring 33 weeks, which im only 28 weeks and 3 days. So i'm measuring 5 weeks bigger. They are doing the ultrasound next Tuesday 04/06/2010. They had to reschedule it. The Dr said that they will not move my due date, but that i'm either having a big baby, or that i'm caring extra fluid. If i'm caring extra fluid, they will go in and drain some fluid off. But they are waiting till the ultrasound to see what the case is. She said that my body is thinking that i am 33 weeks pregnant. So my chances of pre-term labor are alot higher. She said if it's a big baby, they will probably end up inducing me or schedule me for a c-section. But we will no more based on what the ultrasound shows. I'm a little nervous b/c dont' really know what's going on. Also i'm still having the nausea. She told me to increase my medine to 2 at a time and see if that helps. If not they will than perscribe me something. But she wants to try this first. I don't even want to eat. I'm having to force myself to eat.

03/17/2010 Saw Martha, the Nurse Practioner. I was having alot of Contractions. They were 3-5 minutes apart. They tested my urine and shows Nitrates, Blood. She sent my urine for a culture. In the mean time, she said I was dehydrated which was causing the contractions. Told me to increas my fluid intake.

03/16/2010 Saw Dr. Hoover today. My weight was 162. Pre-pregnancy weight was 159 1/2. So i'm only up 2 1/2 lbs. She isn't worried about my weight b/c she said they baby will take what it needs from me. I'm going to be the one that's being deprived. She said I could take in iron supp. if wanted. Also she told me to take zantac for the nausea that i'm having for the past week. I'm not getting sick, but feeling nausated. My blood pressure was 98/62. The baby's heart beat was 150. She didn't have any trouble getting the heart beat this time. I'm suppose to be 26wks and 3 days. My stomach is actually meausring 30 weeks. I big difference. She is ordering an ultasound in 2wks, 03/30/2010. That is also when I will get my rogham shot. My gestational diabetes test I am to do 2-3 days before this appt. So I will probably do it the Saturday before. I've been having quite a few contrations. Some are painful one's. If they get any worse or more, i'm suppose to call the Dr's office. I may be having pre-term labor.

02/13/2010 Had Dr. Appat today. Saw the NP. My weight was 160. So I've gained a few more pounds. Still not were they would like me, but nothing to worry about. They had a hard time finding the heart beat She was moving all over. They got 157-164. My stomach was measuring a week bigger, but she said it was fine, they still wanted to stay with my original due date. So I may acutally be a week father since ultrasound and stomach is measuring a week bigger. Or i'm going to have a big baby... Next appt is on March 16th @ 9:15. Than I start going every two weeks. Soon I will be doing my gestational diabetes test, and getting my rogham shot...:( But hey it's all worth it!

01/25/2010 Had gender ultrasound today. It's officical, we are adding another GIRL to the family. Breanna will get what she wanted, a sister....:) The ultrasound measured the baby a little bigger w/ due date of June 14th, but they are staying w/ June 19th due date. Everything looked great. Baby was moving around quite a bit. The heartbeat was 161. My weight was 155 1/2. So I actually gained a few pounds. I'm under what they would have liked for me to gain, but she said the baby looks great. My next appt is: Feb. 23rd @ 11. I asked about my blood pressure, and she said there's not much they can do w/ pregnancy. But for me to eat 2-3 chicken boilon cubes a day. Plus they prescribed me compression stockings to see what that does.

01/20/2010 Started feeling dizzy today. My vission was weird. I had one of my nurse take my blood pressure. Itw as 98/64. And that was stitting down. My balance is a little unsteady. But overall I feel lightheaded/dizzy.

01/11/2010 Seen in ER due to dizzy spell and fell on top of my daugthers toys. Hit my stomach and was hurting. Baby is fine. The heart beat was 156 w/ the doopler. They did and ultrasound and heartbeat went to 175. They weren't able to tell the sex of the baby. Baby is already crowded so no able to get a good view. Everything is fine, just hurting in lower stomach. The Dr. said that I will probably have some bleeding and brown discharge. He also said I have fluid in the canal. Not sure what that will mean. I was told to extrenoius activities or vaginal intercourse. Follow up w/ Dr. Hoover when planned Jan. 25th.

12/09/2009 Woke up @ 12:30 am and had to pee and was hungry. So I made me a bowel of cereal. It was so good to. Started watching TV and decided I was getting tired again. So I went to put the bowel in the kitchen. When I did, I had a nother passout spell. My vision went black and I was really dizzy. I remeber falling on my daughters baby stroller that was in the kitchen. I'm not sure how long I passed out, but when I awoke and started feeling bed I went and woke my husband up. I was than so scared he didn't know what to do. He wouldn't leave my side till it was time for him to go to work.

12/08/2009 I had another dizzy episode. This time I was getting out of the shower. i didn't actually black out, but started feeling really dizzy and my vission was blurred and double vision. Then I started loosing my balance and caught myself on our wall. So I was able to lower myself to the ground. Called my OB Dr and they said this was not there specialty. So they refferred my to my PCP. I called them and was able to get in @ 11. I went in and they took my weight. I was 152. They took my blood pressure, it was 100/60. Dr. came in and was a little concerned about my blood pressure so she had the nurse do my blood pressure laying 112/60, sitting 110/60 and standing 80/60. They also did a bunch a blood work. Still waiting on the results.

12-05/2009 I officially feel fat...:) I started wearing my maternity clothes today. But I feel so much more comfortable. More and more people are asking how far along instead of thinking i'm fat....lol. So that good no know i'm actually looking pregnant and not fat...:)

12/03/2009 Was walking to the bathroom and everything got pitch black like I lost my vission. Than next thing I knew, I was on the floor. I'm guessing I passed out. Called my Dr, and spoke w/ the nurse. She said the Dr. is out, but they will leave a message for her. She said that it sounds like it's hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). She told me to eat protein, and carbohydrate every morning before getting out of bed, before going to bed, and in the middle of the night if I wake up. She said if that doens't work to let them know and they will have to get ahold of my PCP and see what testing they want to do. She said I should be eating cheese, crackers, peanut butter, orange juice, etc. This is the second time this week that this has happened.

11-30-2009 Had my first appt w/ Dr. Hoover today. She tried to hear the heart beat and was unable to hear it below my belly button where it should be for 10wks 3 days. She had measured my stomach and I was measuring 15 weeks. So she tried the heart beat up by my belly button and above and still could not hear it. So the Dr said, I was dated wrong of there's more than one in there. So they sent me for an ultrasound. Thank goodness there's only one baby. It was measuring 11wks 2 days. So i'm not even sure when my due date would actually be. They said original would be June 25th, but by ultrasound it would be June 19th. By my stomach measuring it would middle of May sometime. We did get to hear the heart beat by ultrasound. It was 165. Has anybody had this happen. Why wouldn't I be able to hear heart beat w/ doopler? Especially since they are thinking i'm farther along. I didn't see the Dr. after the ultrasound, so i'm not sure why due date they are going to give me. I don't go back till January 25th, and that will be the ultasound to determine the sex of the baby...:) My weight was 153.

11-24-2009 I did the drano test today @ 9wks 4 days. It says to use first morning urine. So I mixed half drano w/ half of my first monring urine. Then you wait for about 5-10 minutes. Mine showed up a brownish color. Which it is saying a BOY. If you do this, please do it out side b/c the fumes are strong. And make sure you were gloves so none of it gets on you. Below is what they say you will have:

Bluish yellow = boy
Greenish brown = girl

Brownish = boy
No change = girl

Brown = boy
Green = girl

Black = boy
Blue = girl/boy

1-11-2009 I had my first appt w/ a clinical associate. All they did was history/paperwork, and had labs drawn. My first appt w/ the Dr. is 11-20-2009. That is when I should be able to hear the baby's heartbeat. They said you usually don't hear the heartbeat till 10 weeks through the dooplers. Plus they scheduled an ultrasound at 18 weeks which will be 01/25/2010. Seems like it's so far away...:(

10/8/2009 Dr. ordered lab work to confirm pregnancy. It's positive, I'm PREGNANT.

10/7/2009 Did a HPT and got a faint positive. Did another one and got the same.

09/18/2009 Started bleeding but not sure if it's my period or from the IUD being removed the day before.

09/17/2009 I had my IUD removed.
