Found out i was pregnant on the 3rd of April, my due date is 3rd Dec. Today 17th April i am exactly 7 weeks pregnant. Thank god i haven't been that sick. But suffering terrible with tiredness. This is my fourth pregnancy..around this time last year i had a missed miscarriage so i am really nervous. can't wait to get over the 12 week mark and i know baby is ok, and i can start sharing my news with everyone. Not sure how my daughter is going to take the news though. Anyway this is a great site..don't you think?? Talking to other pregnant women who know what i'm going thru is just great. I told my partner the other day how tired and exhausted i felt, and his reply was " how can you be feeling so tired so early in the pregnancy, you shouldn't be feeling like that until later on in it" you can imagine the look of shock on my face, so my reply to him was "WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU WERE PREGNANT" MEN....They haven't got a clue...lol

Hea ladies well it is Friday!!!!!!! If I don't get to talk to you have a lovely weekend. Just a thought but we should all do something for outselves this weekend. Do something girlie like our hair, nails, have a massage etc because before we know it we'll have a little one and won't have time to brush our teeth never mind pamper ourselves!!!! Ha ha. Have a good one.

Hi well the scan I got with Dr. Pat Tunney he has his clinic built on the side of his home and he lives just around the cornor from Mount Carmel Hospital. You can just book for the scan you get a dvd and disc with pictures along with some printed off for when you are leaving. His contact details are Dr. Pat Tunney, 170 Orwell Road Ph: 01 4923544. It takes about 35 min and is so cool looking at the baby moving and hearing the heart. I think the price was about €120 or so but they will tell you when you call. Best of luck hope this helps

I am 7 weeks today!!!
i cannot get in for a ultrasound as they are booked out this entire month how stupid is that??.I think i will go back to the docs and make him refer me to one in the city.Otherwise i will be almost 10 weeks by the time they check my baby for dates.

Glad to hear all was well on your scan. I really think that it is amazing that at seven weeks the heart is beating away. I take it that the doctor didn't seam over worried about the pain?

lucky you not getting the sickness - already to me it feels like my constant companion, though it isn't too bad today. my energy levels are fine I have to day but my breasts are so tender. I am normally an E cup and now they are getting bigger. they are so heavy and going up and down stairs is a nightmare. but at least my partner is not complaining, lol.

Hello
i went to my docs today and asked him because i have the same twinges. i thought it may be because i had a ceaser with my last. The doc said some pain is normal because the uterus is growing. maybe the baby sits on one side more than the other at this stage who knows?.. Don't stress to much .. That is what he told me.
regards Kate
