I will start by telling you I am happily married to my high school sweetheart, Ben. We have been married now for six years and have a beautiful daughter Savannah Jaide who is three years old. We found out on February 27th 2008 we are expecting a Baby Boy! We are naming him COLE BENJAMIN! I am thrilled to be having a boy this time around because this is probably our last child. I cannot wait to do boy things now instead of always doing princess stuff. I enjoy scrapbooking and being with my family. And, I LOVE being pregnant! I cannot wait to meet Cole....it will be here before I know it. Thank you for visiting my page.

Some people shoudl be banned before being allowed to have babies. It shoudl be mandatory to be on birth control and when someone decides they WANT to have a baby they need to go through testing to see if they are fit parents.

I saw a stupid ass mother here stop her stroller and leave her baby and young child in front of the liquor store so she could go inside. Fucking pisses me off. I also saw someone park their van in front of a skuzzy ass hotel full of drunks and nasty ass people who whould be killed and then I looked in the van and saw a child who must not have been more than 2 in the van by itself in just a diaper walking around not seat belted in and the parents left and walked 2 blocks down the street DOWNTOWN! Fucking stupid people!

I got all upset becuase my nose was sooooooooo plugged that I was taking nose spray and I had a super bad cold and took a tylonol and I felt just HORRIBLE about it! How can someone drink and do drugs KNOWING they have a life inside of them! Arg Stupid people suck!

Thanks for your message!! It's so good to know we're not alone when these things happen. It's not knowing that is most scary I think!! Hope you're feeling alright today!! Congrats!

Thank you very much for your advice.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who's tired! Not that I'm happy you're tired! I guess it's just part of the whole trip. I must say, I really cherish the times I can leave my kids with my mom or mom-in-law and just take some time out. Having them home all day is tiring in itself, although I don't think I could bare the thought of sending them off to school! 3 hours twice a week sounds perfect.

Also not sure how this friends network thingy works, but looked like a good idea!Oh well, better go and get my kiddies eating. Cheers!

Hmmm...I must admit, raising children in SA is quite a challenge. We honestly have a big problem with crime, so things like riding bikes out in the streets o rgoing to a park (of which there aren't many!) is actually a risk, so we just don't do it. It's a real pitty. Also, homeschooling was the only option left for us. The government schools are in a shambles and the private schools are so expensive, I'd have to sell my kids to be able to send them there! I suppose every country has it's good and bad sides. A lot of people are leaving SA for Europe and the US (including many of our friends :( ), but I think we gonna stick it out for now. Gee, sounds like I'm painting a terrible picture, but we're actually very happy and have a wanderful life here!

Where are you from? Have a good weekend too! Cheerio!

Thank you. It's definitely rare to have a 5th generation with the same name! It was a lot of pressure on me to have a boy! Thanks for the advice on storing milk, that does help a lot. I thought the bags seemed like the way to go since they don't take up the same amount of space as bottles. I will look into that container to hold them too.

I just wanted to say I know how you feel! I love being pregnant, but I just feel and see my body changing so much!!! I have only gained 16.5 pounds so far (I'm also 29 weeks..due July 13th), but it might as well be 50!! I feel so big!! My husband is sweet and constantly tells me how beautiful I am and how wonderful I look, but I'm convinced he's just being nice. ; ) Anyway, I just wanted to say that I know how you feel! Hey but just think...only about 11 more weeks to go! We can do it!! Good luck to you! Take care!!

oh god they are so painful...worse pain I have ever felt yet. Well when I went for my ultra sound the doc said she didn't see any male organs sooo it might be a girl...so exciting, yet so scary. This is my first...so I suppose those feelings are natural. So we are due the same day, thats cool. My bf's birthday is on the 13th, 2 days before the due date, so that should be exciting.

yeah, some people do think colostrum is dirty milk. lol. i spoke to my friend today and she mentioned that she had just started some colostrum. happy for her and the baby. :) i got her the book, what to expect in the first year and some perfume to make her feel special. since the baby was born, i can only imagine how everything she gets is probably something or the other for the baby. not that she minds it of course. but i thought it might be nice to get something to help her celebrate being involved in bringing forth life. something that would be hers to celebrate with. glad she loved it. you have a blessed weekend ahead and god bless. :)

sugarcubesandcottoncandy - Friday, 18 April
Thanks. That makes me feel so much better. My friend just delivered and hasn't had milk to feed her baby. That frightened me. how is everything otherwise?

My husband works at a manfucturing company. He will be going back on night shift and I'm due in July and he will be back going back on night shift. He will be off the week of June 30th and he needs to put his time in to have off with me, because we really don't have family here. Thanks for your response.

yes I am a hospital corpsman in the Navy I have worked in prediatrics, labor and delivery and immunzations, that other lady said she works on a desk job so she dose not even do patient care, but anyway. . . i just have to tell you, and this is totally my opinion, but autism is to this generation as ADD and ADHD was to my generation, many providers are very quick to diagnose this, and it may not be totally correct. If you were an easy going mom with your first just follow your instincts with this one and im sure he'll be fine, my son is 2 and has had everything reccomended for him and hes fine so far so hahah dont get too worked up about it just enjoy your kids!!!

sugarcubesandcottoncandy - Thursday, 17 April
Hey just got back from the hospital. The doc has given me the go ahead. I may walk now, if i wanted to. and i needn't stick to the bed. what a relief. My pressure is slightly lower than normal though. Must be a little cautious about that.

Am sooo much better otherwise. Thanks a ton. :)

sugarcubesandcottoncandy - Thursday, 17 April
hi there. I know what it feels like. Am pretty much there myself. I hate having people tell me what I can or cannot do. Like I wouldnt know for myself. And what bugs me the most is half the world and then some more telling me to start exercising. For goodness sakes, I have been advised by my doc to stick to the bed. And I would imagine she knows her job. And here I have these so call well wishers who pop in and tell me to start exercising and to get my muscles all oiled for the delivery. Its sickening. TElling them I have been asked to stay off exercising just makes them nod disapprovingly. I am tired and exhausted and bugged beyond belief.

sugarcubesandcottoncandy - Saturday, 12 April
lol. Thanks a ton. I do hope your wish for me comes true. :) howz it going otherwise?

babycook - Friday, 11 April
yes i did and i am so glad we did have it. It's amazing. and We are having a girl. It was very clear this time. :) we couldn't be more excited. I see your having boy?? :) Hope your doing well. I've been feeling pretty great lately.

sugarcubesandcottoncandy - Friday, 11 April
yes... am so eager to get it all right. i want to breast feed too. back here, I dont think my family will give me a choice on that one anyways. :)

I guess I wanna feed the baby till it starts teething.

rhonnott - Friday, 11 April
Thanks for the message. We bought an infant and a convertible car seat, but still have some of the bigger booster seats that are good for now. We will check again before the baby uses them.

buddysmom - Thursday, 10 April
Thanks for the info.. That does make sense. I will make sure to get the pump.
