Labor Prediction

Just about the time you think you can't handle hearing one more "when is that baby going to pop?", your baby will decide to make it's appearance. We predict your baby will be born 3-7 days before its due date. Your baby will most likely be born in the morning. Justmommies predicts that your baby will weigh approximately 7.5 pounds and that your labor will be about 11 hours long.

Birth Story

6*24 - 6lbs 8oz -18 3/4 inches

So Saturday i was having what i thought were braxton hicks all day about 30 minutes apart and they just felt like cramps. I didn't think anything of it. So i went on through the day and went to my cousins graduation party after work. At work i had lost the last of my mucus plug the "bloody show", so i thought labor was a couple days or a week away but i guess i thought wrong. At my cousins grad party they atarted becoming stronger adnc loser together like every 15 minutes for lik 40 seconds. Then it was every 10 minutes for about 45 seconds. My mom and uncle convinced me to go to the hospital. So i went . I was in labor for 14 hours but i didn't really feel anything because i got an epidural. My mom said i lucked out. They had to wake me up to start pushing. I got to the hsopital at 11 30 pm saturday night i was 3 cm.... they checked my again at 2 and i was about 3 1/2 cm then they came back at 4 and i was at 4 cm. The doc came in at 5 and checked me and i was at 5 cm so they admitted me and gave me the option of getting the epidural so i got it. About 20 minutes after that i didn't feel a thing. They gave me poticin at around 7 just to get things movnig faster and then about 2 hours later they broke my water. They didn't check me again until about 1 and she said i was 100% complete and -1. The doc came in an hour and a half later and checked me and said i as 100% complete and -2 and it's time to start pushing. By 2:39 pm she was here. The doc said that was the fastest she's ever seen a frist timer push out a baby lol.. I pushed 3 times and she came flying out lol .She was 6 lbs 8oz. 18 3/4 inches long. HEALTHY!

Life with Kaylah (8*29)

Life with Kaylah is awesome i couldn't ask for anything more. I am so happy. I have a wonderful husband to be and the perfect duaghter. She used to slep through the night up until a couple night ago. I twas like she was teasing us. Frank is a great daddy he mostly gets up with her at night becuase i have to get up at 5 for work. I love him so much and he doesn't know how much ai appriciate it. We are going to get her 3 month pictures in a couple weeks i can't wait . She smiles and somewhere laughs now when she is tickled. I can not wait until she is full out laughing at things . I know her and her daddy will keep each other entertained for hours. I have a feeling she is going to be a goofball just like daddy. She gets her shots next friday. I am scared for her. I just know that if she cries i will too and it sucks cuz daddy wont be there he has work.

What a Sleeper ( 10*03)

kaylah is such a good baby. She sleeps anywhere between 8 to 12 hours at night. She started sleeping until about 5 in the morning at about 4 weeks old. A couple nights ago she started sleeping till about 7- 730 in the morning her bedtime is around 8 or 9 so mommy and daddy get a good nights rest. I can' wait to have another one. People call me crazy but the next pregnancy i want identical twin boys... i can hope right ?? It was weird because a couple weeks maybe like 5 to 7 weeks after i had kaylah i had a dream i was pregnant again with identical twin boys right away ... i woke up soooo happy then to find out it was a dream was a bummer lol. We want to wait till Kay is about 2 to start trying for number 2 ! i can't wait i miss being preggo! kaylah has a doc appointment this friday 10*05 i'll updated the page on how everything goes !!

Bananas (11*2)

Yesterday we fed Kaylah bananas for the first time . She liked them alot. She was kind of tired when were trying to feed her them tho. As soon as i gave her her bottle to wash down some of the baby food she fell asleep after about 10 seconds for her bottle lol. I got some pics of the "what the hell is this" face. I can't wait to try all the different kinds of foods they have. I was at the store last night and they have anything from mac and cheese to turkey dinner with mashed potatoes. so weird how it's all combined into that little jar and all in one lol.
