Hello all beautiful Mommies to Be!!!! My name is Stacey and I'm pregnant with my first child. I'm a bit nervous because I haven't experienced "MotherHood" so I'm not sure what to expect. My fiance' Clifton and I can't wait until our bundle of joy arrives. I found out January 16th I'm having a boy so I'm very excited!!!! Please feel free to leave a comment/suggestion. I wish you all a very healthy pregnancy.

Names considered for boys: Clifton (Yes he is going to be a junior)

January 7th.. Well today I'm feeling good. I went to work and I had a very good day. I'm so anixous to find out the gender. I go on Jan 16th so hopefully they will be able to tell. I'm so happy the morning sickness is finally over... I'm almost feeling like myself again except I'm always feeling tired. I'm only 16 weeks and I'm ready for it to be over already.....

January 16th.. Well ladies I just left the doctor's office.... I'm having a boy. I'm am so happy I got what I wanted (not to say if it was a girl I would feel any different). My fiance' was dancing once the ultrasound tech turned the screen so we could both see. Now I can forget about the girls names because I wont be needing them anymore :)

February 6... I know I haven't wrote anything in quite some time but I feel tired so much I don't want to do anything. Today I'm 20 weeks and 5 days. Alot of people are noticing the "belly" sticking out more and I'm loving every bit of it. I haven't had morning sickness in a long time but now it's migraine headaches and lower back pain I'm dealing with. I've always had migraines and once I take my mediciation I feel so much better. Now I can only take Tylenol which doesn't do anything. Lately I've been getting things together for the baby shower which is May 18th. I have the theme already... Rather than going which a disney character or something like that, I chose to go with a color theme baby blue, white, and brown the colors of the babies room. My sister and I went window shopping just to get ideas and I wanted to buy everything LOL!!. I didn't realize how much baby things cost. I hope everyone is doing fine.....

It depends on you really when you want to take your maternity leave. I was going to work up until about 2 days before my due date, but when I was actually planning it and talking it through with my job, I took off a week and a half before, and 6 and a half weeks after baby is born. Now hopefully my little man will come in that first week that I am taking off so that I can have more time with him after he is born, but since I am on such a strict maternity leave, if he doesn't come on his due date, I will be induced the next day. How much time is your work giving you, are you going to use any sick or vacation days? Think about all that. I hope this helps some. Goodl uck!!

No problem and good luck with that test. Dont feel bad if you fail it, there is nothing you can do to prevent it. you either have it or you don't.

I've been doing good. since I have been keeping my blood sugar numbers where they need to be, I have actually had much more energy, so it's not such a bad thing. And I dont have to much longer to go! :), only aprox 10 weeks.

How about you? how are you doing?

Mine was at 140, and I went in for the 3 hour and failed it :( Not saying you will, but i just wasn't lucky. lol. good luck.

I failed the first test too. I had the 3hr test last week and it wasnt that bad I just hated the needles because they draw blood 3 times. Also, bring something to keep you occupied. Good luck, I still waiting for my results.
