Hello My name is Christina Benedict. This is my first pregnancy and I am so excited. We are having a boy and we are planning on naming him Alexander Scott Benedict. Currently, my husband Scott is in Texas for the Air Force, some schooling that he has to do. He will not be back home until some time in October and he has been gone since March 4. He gets to come home for the 4th of July weekend, and we are praying that our son will be born early while he is here, but of course by this point aren't we all hoping for a little earlier delivery!

you should call ur doctor about the pain cuz it could be a sign of pre eclampsia or hellp syndrome (it effects your liver which is in that location) and better to be safe than sorry anyway. they will just want a little blood work to check liver enzymes. hope it's okay :)

lol I WISH! Man. I was really busy on Friday afternoon. I went to get my hair done in twists (kinda like braids) all day on Saturday, and then yesterday we went to the zoo for a few hours. I walked all around that freaking place hoping that it would help me to make progress, but NOPE. I am still here waiting. She is being VERY stubborn. I have my check up today and I am hoping he will tell me I am dialated since it is the first time he will be checking me. I am a bit nervous to know though.

the floor looks a little better, i can still see it, but i dont think anyone else can really tell unless i draw attention to it. replaceing it was just not an option, and niether is covering it witha rug cause my dogs like to pee on rugs so ill just have t live with it and hope it continues to go down.

At least you have dialated. I have no idea if I have or not, but will find out on Monday. That is in 4 days. I need to finish packing my hospital bag. I packed Raegan's already and told hubby to pack his (which of course he hasn't). I still have my plug nad everything. I will be here til week 78!

Yup, that's me too. It looks like someone has a serious sinus problem....in my crotch! It's gross. My doc told me it was normal discharge though. Oh well, it doesn't matter to me. All I know is that it's yucky!

I bet it's not your plug...just tons of mucus. I have been having the same thing for over 2 weeks. It's normal. The plug has bloody crap in it. I can also look to be bloody after you've had sex or been checked.

I'd tell his family that he's not going to make it to dinner because he needs to spend time with his family while he can. They might get annoyed, but theres not much they can do about it. Or just make him tell them, explain to him how dissapointed you would be if he went and took time away from the baby and you. Mother in laws can be really annoying an clinging to their sons at this point, they feel like your stealing their baby away. Mine is trying to be so controling, but I just tell my fiance that she's being manipulative and trying to keep him stuck to her breast and he agrees and we both tell her no. It's best to put your foot down early in the relationship, LOL.

Thanks for the congrats. You are right, this did seem like a very long pregnancy because I was on pins and needles the whole time after what happened with my last pregnancy. I really could not even enjoy this pregnancy at all because I was so nervous all of the time. But God is good and we are so happy to be blessed!

I completely understand about who you want and don't want in the delivery room. My husband is in Iraq right now, and I told my two sisters if he didn't make it home for the birth they could be in the room. Then my MIL got mad b/c I told them and not her. I am extremely close with my family, but one...I asked my sisters, not even my mom, so I don't know why she'd think I'd let her in there. The more people you have, I'd think the more stressful it'll be on you and the baby. Just tell your nurse who can and can't be in there!!! Good luck....let me know the outcome.

My sister has HPV and i'ts really not a big deal. Only a few strains have the worts, and you can get them removed. She luckily dosent have one of those strains, she just has to go for a pap a bit more often because of the increased chance of cervical cancer. Other then that it's not done anything to affect or harm her, so I wouldnt worry about getting it, something like 1 out of 3 women have it now anyways. And I dont think you can pass it to the baby during labor, my sister has had two babies and I dont think anything special was done.

HPV< is not generally associated with warts......its a virus that causes or can cause cervical and ovarian cancer in women, I don't even know for sure if men have symptoms but you have to get testeds through a pap test and then if it is positive, depending on the "grade" of cells ranging from mild to high grade, you go to a colposcopy clinic for "surgical" removal of the vells done by electric leap...... they won't do anything to you if you are pregnant tho.

oh..lol sorry for my misunderstanding. Yes the doc should have done an STI test at your very first appointment...I know mine did. and if you don't have any 'blistery' marks or any signs of them than you might not even have them. Okay so I don't get get it, he got the sti along time ago and just found out about it???

what? did your husband cheat? is that how he got it? anyways I got this info from one of my baby books...It can transfer in the birth canal during birth...so meaning it can get passed on to the baby..there is no cure for the mother...but it says that the baby can be given antiviral drugs if the baby develops neonatal herpes. The effects it has on the baby is : poor energy, fever, poor weight gain, infection of eyes, skin, mouth, and there can be severe brain injury or death. I am so sorry that you have gotten this...darn guys eh...
