RYC: Yeah, they have to admit you to the hospital to put you on insulin..cuz they have to fiddle with it to get the right dosage. So, if they get lucky and guess right the first time..you'll be in there 36 hours. But if they have to keep adjusting it...you have to stay 24 hours after each adjustment! My doctor said usually it's 4 days at the most.

They have me taking my meds with breakfast and with dinner, not matter what my levels are. I'm hoping they can adjust the meds more before they go the insulin route!

RYC: Yeah, I was diabetic before I got pregnant too. Im on Metformin, glyburide and aldomet 2X a day, but my levels aren't as low as they want them either..and they're creeping up. I've had to go see the High risk/diabetes specialist every week since week 9. He said I'm going to end up on insulin eventually..and that to put me on insulin, I'll have to be admitted to the hosptial for 2-4 days! I dont want to go to the hospital! I was just wondering about what your numbers are..so I could compare mine and see where they are. I Have to check mine 7 times a day.

If she pulls that crap next time, I'll tell her to worry about our health and let me do the worrying about the life I'm giving this child. Then I'll poop in her face while I'm pushing lol (okokok, that was NOT classy, but it makes me giggle)

I've found that the clothes that are your previous size work for most of the pregnancy. But (at least for me) I had to go up a size in the maternity clothes near the end of my first pregnancy.

maternity clothes are so hard to find to fit right I find. You just have to try things on and see where you stand in sizes. I know that tyme maternity had a lot of great stuff for all sizes as well as a place called motherhood maternity. Not sure is you have those places there but Thats where I go... and Old Navy has cute stuff. No matter where you go the sizes all differ from store to store and make/modle so its more like trial and error when trying them on. I hate maternity shopping! GRRr hope this helps and Happy SHoppping!

Hi, I just thought i would say buy your size in maternity clothes that you are before you are pregnant, but like all clothes some times the brand makes the difference. I always try the brand on and then when I buy online I know it will fit. Online "ebay" is the best place to buy maternity clothes. Good Luck

I second that. A name is really a big deal its not like say an outfit. You are mom you have to do the work and you will be there till the end. Name your baby what you want he will get over it. Dont allow yourself to be manipulated by him and his lame threats. Also keep in mind that many "not all" but many men are fools.

Ugghh I having a name problem... b/f wants to name if its a girl Ivanova??? that has no meaning to him what so ever... I don't like it and he don't want me to put my G-dads name in the boys name at which is very important to me and he don't understand at all.... it hurts me he don't want me to put any of my family's name in the name for the boy.. he siad he would change his name if i didn't put any parts of my family's name in it... any advice

Hi, you know my doctor advised me that for pain like yours vicodin was safe in moderation. Being in pain is not good for you both. Have you asked your doctor about a mild pain killer. I am having really bad migraines and I am taking vicodin one or two a day, which is low dose, but I am able to do things that I would not be able with a migraine- like chase a 4 yr old around. If you need to chat got right ahead! Take care, let me know how you are doing.

Hi I have my next ultrasound at 15 weeks, I am currently 12 weeks, and my dr said if baby cooporates, we could possibly see the sex of the baby. I remember with my little ones, I found out at 15 weeks and another wouldn't cooporate, so it wasn't til 17 weeks...hee hee...Good Luck, hang in there.
