I was told you can't fly two weeks before your due date, and the airline I last flew on actually made me have a doctors note stating my due date so I wouldn't go into labor on the plane. I wouldn't recommend it only because while on the plane, I started contracting really bad until we landed. Could have been nerves or altitude change but either way it was kinda scary.

I am definitely not ready but then I wonder if I will ever be! I was placed back on bed rest so this week has really been dragging. There are so many things that need to be done but with me being on bed rest I can't get them done-it is so frustrating! It will be neat if you have him on 8/8 that is actually my due date. I was born on 6/6 and Kendrick was born on 10/10. I thought it would be neat to deliver on 8/8 as well. I am glad to see that you are doing well! Not too much longer to go.

Hey there girl! How have you been doing? I haven't heard from you in a while so I thought I would check on you. I have been having problems with my blood pressure being extremely high lately. My blood pressure on Tuesday was 145/101. I had to go the hospital and they sent me home after it went down. I went to the doctor yesterday and found out I will be having my son next week. They are admitting me on Wednesday and starting the pitocin at midnight. He should be here early Thursday morning (the 19th). My lab work on Tuesday showed that my platelt count is low so I had to have it rechecked yesterday and it had gone up. I have to have it rechecked on Monday and if it is low they may induce me Monday night. Either way he will be here next week. We have decided that his name will be Nolan William. How are you doing? How is Derrick?

AT LEAST THAT'S WHAT IT TURNED OUT TO BE THE 1ST COUPLE OF TIMES I WENT FOR MY U/S AND THIS WILL BE THE 3RD TIME FOR OUR U/S ON THE 23RD OF THIS MONTH..LOL..THE FUNNY THING IS IS THAT I JUST HAD SOMEONE ELSE ASK ME THE SAME THING..AND I TOLD HER SHE'S JUST GOT A FLOWER THAT IS DEFINITELY IN BLOOM..LOL..BUT I'LL DOUBLE CHECK FOR YOU ALL ON THE 23RD, BECAUSE HEY, THEY DO MAKE MISTAKES IN THE MEDICAL WORLD..EVERYBODY ISN'T PERFECT. BUT I'LL KEEP YOU POSTED..AND SORRY FOR THE DISCOMFORT YOU'RE HAVING..I'VE GOT THOSE TOO. BUT I AM EXCITED THAT YOU'RE ANXIOUSLY AWAITING THE ARRIVAL OF YOU SON! CONGRATS AGAIN. hey woman, the doctor will do every thing he normally does and also put you up in stir ups and check to see if you are thinning and effacing and if you are dialated. It takes a whole minutes to check that. Some women are uncomfortable when they check some are not. AND most women to bleed a little after the exams so if you do don't freak out about it. Totally normal!

I always hear people say that you will miss being pregnant, I couldnt DISAGREE more;0) Atleast I think, its my first. Of course I love feeling my baby move inside of me, but thats about it. What else is there to miss? The backaches? the sleepless nights? Dont get me wrong, I wouldnt change it for the world, but I definatly wont be complaining when its over. And what is better than actually feeling your baby move inside of you?.....Being able to see him/her, hold them feed them, ect. I definatly will be enjoying beer and wings, too! I didnt even really smoke before i was pregnant, just every once in a while with a drink, but for some odd reason I want to smoke a ciggerette (im sure it will make me sick though). So...I definatly agree with you. Cant wait for the little bundle of joy to come out:-) Oh yeah, I also miss being able to see my 'friend' down there.
