Around the begining of my pregancy I was experiancing excrutiating pains in my stomach. I went on with my day best I could assuming it was a bad case of gas. The pain went on for a fiew days until one morning after a sleepless night I decided to go to the hospital. Unfortunantly even at 4am the hospital was packed with people. After waiting 4 hours I began to get irritated and was about to go home and just then the doctor called my name. He examined me for quite awhile and he said it looked to him like I had a tubicular pregnancy. That's when the baby is growing in the ovarian tube, if the baby grows large enough it could rupture your tube and kill you. Right then I was hooked up to a morphine iv and then a little while later they took me in for surgery. When I woke after surgery I asked a nurse if my baby was ok. I still remember her exact words, "oh they didn't tell you? you lost your baby." I was devistated. It'd been years since I cried that hard, I eventually cried myself to sleep and woke to my boyfriend. He came from work to support me. Im not sure if it was hours or days later when they took me in for another ultra sound, I totally lost my sence of time. During the ultra sound everyone was surprised to see my baby was where it should be. But there was more bad news, the baby's heart rate was at 80 when it should have been between 120-140. I was told there was no chance of this baby surviving. She said "you are going to misscarry." and now 6 months later my baby boy is as healthy as could be.
The doctor said when she was inside me during surgery she found a large blood clot in my ovarian tube and assumed the baby was inside of the clot.
My little man is so tough, he truely is a miracle.
