i was having really bad pains tonight so my sister in-law took me to the hospital. they said i was dehiderated and that my cervix is closed!! im so upset. the pains were my muscles stretching out in my belly. the nurse did say i was having small contractions but i couldnt feel them. i have an appointment tomorrow hopefully the doc will say something i want to hear.

I was a good feeling to be able to see him on ultrasound. He has a huge head and the fattest cheeks I've ever seen. He even has my mouth. I just can't believe a real live person that has half of me in him is growing inside of me. True I am so huge most people think I have twins but as long as he's healthy then I guess I can stand a c section. Your stomach's not as huge as you think. At least it doesn't look like she's all the way on one side like mine is. He loves the right side so I have one big lump on that side with his butt sticking out most times. Good luck.

Yes I would wash the clothes..I used Dreft.It is a special detergant used for babies with sensitive skin. good luck

The best way I can describe a contraction is if you've ever had an intestinal virus when your stomach cramps and you want to just roll into a ball. That's my description but towards the end of labor it's like 100 times worse. Sorry if TMI I don't mean to scare you but that's how I felt. Lucky we have the option if meds if we decide. I went natural with my first but no one gave me a medal for it. As far as this time, we will see. Hopefully it goes fast.

I take a warm bubble bath like 3 times a day. It is very relaxing.
