Hi there, I'm
Tara. I've been married for a little over 3 years and I'm expecting my
2nd boy. I have an 8 year old son who I delivered at 27 weeks, and he
is amazingly healthy. I was recently put on bed rest due to pre-term
contractions, cervical shortening, and the baby dropping. I had a FFN on 3-5-08, and it came back positive, now we're just playing the waiting game. I had betamethasone injections on the 11th and 12th, and with both complete things are looking good.

Thursday, 17 April hmm... well its good to know someone is in my boat, im sick of hearing about all these 9lb babies. I wonder if this means my due date is too early or if hes just little or if something is wrong... basically i worry about everything. Hey how did the doc and u/s go? MelGrl -
Tuesday, 15 April So I just got back from the doc and the U/S tech says that my baby weight 8lbs 15oz. I don't buy it at all though and the doc didn't seem like he was on board with that weight either. Last week the doc I saw said he was on path for being 6lbs 8oz in her opinion so now I am just thoroughly confused and frustrated. I don't want to have a baby that is over 9lbs but I didn't want a baby too small either. I am stressed but I guess I can't have everything. It's just nerve wracking. His head is down though...so that's a good thing. MelGrl -

Thursday, 10 April Hey! I also was measuring low. My doctor said he wanted to do another ultrasound. I was a little worried at first, but the baby was great and plenty big enough. He was 6 lbs, 9 oz. as of Monday. I am 37 weeks, but measuring at 34 weeks. So hope this eases your mind a bit! :) babyfooladi -
Thursday, 10 April I am measuring small also, so have had two ultrasounds these last few weeks and everything is ok. In my case, the baby is just so low... I also wondered at first why they weren't scheduling the ultrasound for that specific day, but I think it's more of a precaution they are doing the ultrasound rather than an emergency...
