It will be fine, just think if he comes early then you will have your baby. The midwife made an appointment for the 30th July, she said that if i haven't had it by then, then the week after I have to go to the hospital and they do a sweep to try and start me off. I hope she does come before though, I'm more excited now than scared. Yeah it would be good if we were both in at the same time, it would be really good actually cos weve been talking on here since we both found out. xxx

You will be fine. I've been to see my midwife today, she was saying that I'm small now and my blood pressure is high. She said that if i get any headaches the I've got to go straight to hospital. I think that the last few weeks are scary but I think that everything will be fine. xxx

I've been having really bad period pains since Friday Morning. Don't know whether to call the midwife or hospital or just wait until I see the midwife on Wednesday. A couple of nights though it's been really bad. Have you had anything like that? x

I know the feeling - I stopped salsa dancing about 3 weeks ago and I am missing it so much already - I've always been really fit and active so I am missing that and looking forward to getting back to it once the baby arrives!

We have got our antenatal classes towards the end of July, but I bet it's a bit of a reality check - have heard you watch videos of birth etc which I'm not sure I want to see... I prefer not to know, ha ha!

Am planning on a water birth but keeping an open mind! I am going to a midwife led unit rather than a labour ward so hoping to keep pain relief down to gas & air / maybe pethadine if required, but not ruling anything out if the pain gets too bad - how about you??

Hello! Snap on due dates then, lol! I'm feeling pretty good at the moment, although just got half way up the high street to buy lunch and had such an awful stitch, I could hardly walk!! Been fairly lucky with the weight gain but Im starting to feel pretty preggers now and with less than 6 weeks to go, am starting to get a bit nervous! How about you?

been to see midwife today, she told me to expect it to arrive within the next two weeks because my belly looks full. She said that she is hoping to get another appt out of me 2 week today but she doesn't think that i will make it. What has your midwife said to you? Are you on facebook as well? x

You have to be quick though cos they only have so many spaces, thats why mines not until the 12th, I rang ages ago and thats the earliest they could fit me in. xxx

Think I'm just going to have gas and air and they also give you this really strong tablet like paracetamol but a lot lot stronger. Think that I will just have those cos I hate needles so I dont think I could have an epidural. How about you what you planning to have? x

It was the midwife that told me about the workshops. I'll try and find the number for ya. She said that it's just a one off and lasts for about 3 hours. It's at the hospital, they show you round all the maternity unit and stuff and just talk about different kinds of drugs that you can have like epidural and gas and that. then they tell you what the birth is going to be like. I'll try and find ya that number. It should be good at least you'll have an idea of whats going to happen. I keep looking at births on the internet. It scares me. We've just finished doing our bathroom, next weekend its the living room. shouldnt take too long though. If I cant find that number just ring the hospital and say that your enquiring about the birth workshop, think hospital number is 01709 820000, but I'll have a look anyways. xx

Hi,
I'm ok tar, had a bit of a sad weekend though. That crash that happened in near Maltby with 7 people in the car, the boy who died was sort of related so got a funeral to go to. Other than that I'm fine. I've only put on a stone and the sickness has come back in the mornings surprise surprise. Have you got your bag all packed? I'm looking forward to it now. Are you going to one of them birth workshops up at the hospital. I've booked in for one on the 12th July. I might have had it by then though. xxx
