I gave birth to my baby boy Darien, he was a preemie born 34 weeks due to complications to my placenta,he was 3pounds 1 ounce. thank god everything is good now. my advice to all the pregos is make sure you tell your doctor you want a sono to make sure everything is ok with baby if it wasn't for that I don't know what would of happened to my baby boy. I was going with my pregnancy like nothing was wrong. To all the pregos who just want to give birth believe me its better to keep the baby in for as long as possible. I had a very scary experience. good luck to all......

You're so sweet. Yes, everything went great!! The IV and pitocin were started around 6:30am Wednesday, and I was at 2cm/50%. I was 10cm/100% by 10:55. I was pushed for 25 minutes, and he was born at 11:20am 6/11. I got the epidural at about 9:30, so I didn't have it too long before I started pushing. I was SO numb!! It was great. His name is Jacob Matthew, 8lbs. 5oz. 19 3/4 inches long. I can send pics if you have an email address you would like to share. You can send back private if you want. Thanks for checking on us. How are things at your house? I hope better :)

Aww..you aren't boring me. You are welcome to send me messages just to vent anyway. I don't have any family within a couple of hours from here, so I know how you feel. It can be really stressful. And I know what you mean about the epidural. I had one with my daughter. I was careful not to get it to early, but I sure wasn't afraid to ask. Thanks for letting me know though. Good advice. I hope things get better for you (and I know they will). I am sure it's just a difficult time for you. And I can't even imagine having a preemie who needs extra care. At full term, they are high maintenance, so I can't imagine a baby being more maintenance than "normal." Well, I go in Wednesday at 5:30am, so pray for me that all goes well. And seriously message anytime. I am here to listen anytime! :) G'night!

Well, I did it. I scheduled an induction. My doctor said if he thought in any way he would put me at a greater risk for a C-section, he wouldn't do it. I told him I didn't want a C-section if it wasn't necessary, and he said I think you will do great. I was 2cm/60% this time and he stripped my membranes. Since this is my second, we'll hope for the best. I am hoping I go before 6/11 but we'll see. I did lose most of my plug yesterday and Ewww!! I saw a little more this morning, but for the most part, I think it's all gone. I am about to go on a walk with my daughter. Any thoughts? :) And congrats on your new baby! So, tell me..how difficult is this going to be with a 4 year old and a newborn?

Aww...It's great to hear from you! Yes, I do remember you. I am happy to hear things are going well for you and the little guy even though he was a little early. I guess you can never prepare yourself for everything, that's for sure. I am due in 13 days and so ready. I haven't really been having any contractions, so we'll see what this week brings. I have a doctor's appt. Thursday, and he said if I am 39 weeks and my cervix is favorable, he will induce me. I am not sure I want to be induced. I have mixed feelings over the whole thing. Most of me just wants to let us happy naturally. Any experience with an induction? I was a fingertip dilated and 50% last week and the week before, so hopefully this week will bring change. Well, I better get to bed. I am still working full-time. Message back when you get a chance. It's great hearing from you!! G'night!
