thats weird i noticed my baby dropped as of monday and i havent seen any sign of my plug but i am having shooting pains in my crotch and i feel like it is numb or tingly like when your elbow falls asleep or when your circulation gets cut off but its only on the left side. also im probably walking like a duck because its uncomfortable at times . I thought i was stuck in the tub the other night and finally got out but caused a sharp pain in my lower abdomin and now i figured a new tecnique of getting my self out.. but i can breath and digest food now since she moved south i just cant bend in the middle anymore.

Thanks for your info. We have talked and talked about this screening and have decided that we don't care about the DS results, we are just doing it to make sure all organs are in the right place and things look normal. I have never met a DS person that I didn't love, so if that happens, we are ok with it. We decided to talk with the doctor and let her know how we feel. I have read so much on this test and the false positive results are high. Why stress out, I do that enough already :}

Congrats on your pregnancy...I read about your swelling and I find the same myself...lately I find myself most of the day swelling and having to put my feet up...can you share anything else you've done to help your swelling go down?

i'm feeling you on the breathing issue! i get winded going upstairs. on the weight thing...i'm not sure how much i trust those estimates...my friend was told just before delivery that her baby would be 9 lbs and she turned out to be 6lb-something! it's neat for the dr. to tell us though because it's fun to visualize how big the baby is. i'm sure yours is a great size, i am hoping for a bigger (rather than smaller) baby myself!

I am not sure about the weight question, but as far as the breathing goes I am right there with you. My doctor said it was very typical in the 3rd trimster, but I feel like I am always trying to catch my breath!

My little one's weight was 3 pounds 11 ounces at 27 1/2 weeks and my obgyn was very happy with her weight. Your little one is a few ounces more but not too much. I think the weight listed at the top of these pages are a bit on the low side of 'normal' based on what other mommies have said about their baby's size. I orgionally thought the same thing you did and assumed that she was big and I was having a monster baby but not according to the dr. Hope this helps.
