This was July 7th, 2007 and I was offically 31 weeks pregnant this day! This is Amanda (to the right) and me (to the left)! Amanda is due to have her little girl in 2 weeks and I am bigger than her in the tummy area! =)

This was April 3rd, 2007. This was the ultrasound that we found out if we were having a boy or a girl! These were the 4d pics that I had of him... I was 17 weeks and 3 days pregnant! We are so proud of our sweet little boy! The first thing that my husband said after the doctor told us it was a boy was "At least I don't have to go shopping for Barbie stuff!" So I think he was really wanting a boy! Lol

This is my baby boy at 28 weeks and 4 days! I got lucky and got a doctor that will give me a 4d ultrasound everytime I get a regular ultrasound and I don't have to pay anything for it!! I love it

This was July 12th, 2007! I was 31 weeks and 5 days along! These were the 2 best ultrasound pics I got! I love them chubby cheeks!! He is so adorable! I was so glad that his hand wasn't in front of his face or the umbilical cord wasn't in the way! That happens to us alot!! He is just shy with his pictures like his daddy! =)

Here I was 35 weeks and 3 days along! And in the top picture he is actually flipping off the ultrasound camera! He is already a naughty boy! The US tech said that it rarely happens that a baby does something like that! lol He has the chubbiest cutest cheeks ever! I love it!

Today we had our first doctors appointment and we found out that my due date is September 8th, 2007. We are so excited. We got to see our little baby on the ultrasound screen today and it is so amazing knowing there is a little life inside of me! The babies heartrate was 133, I actually cried when I first heard it! I looked over at my dad and he looked like he was crying too! Its just all so amazing!

January 19th, 2007

Well today me and Matt decided to go get married at the courthouse! It actually turned out that there was no judge to marry us so we called a nearby wedding chapel to see if a preacher there would marry us! Well the preacher was in jeans and a baseball cap but we didn't care! We got married and are so very happy! It was a beautiful day to get hitched because it snowed and there was snow that covered the ground! It was so pretty! We can't wait until our new little addition to our family is here to make us whole!

February 6th, 2007

Well we had another checkup today with the doctor and everything is going good! We got to hear the babies heartbeat again! The first time when the nurse checked it, it was 159. And the second time when the doctor checked it, it was 164! It beats so fast! And its wonderful knowing that I am helping a little life grow inside me! I can't wait to meet my beautiful baby!

Not much to say today, but I had to start my 24 hour urine sample to take to the doctor tomarrow! It's so weird to collect my own urine and keep it! =/ Eww.. lol

February 27th, 2007

Today I turned in my 24 hour urine sample! The babies heartrate was 149 and they took a blood test to see if there was a chance for the baby to have any abnormalities. I had my papsmear done today as well to make sure everything is normal down there! I will update with the results!

March 22nd, 2007

Today I had a normal appointment. The babies heartrate was fluxuating from 148-153. All of the test results that they did on me and the baby at the last appointment came back normal! So that is good!

March 24th, 2007

Well I have felt really stressed out today. The pregnancy hormones are so getting to me. But today was one of the best days of my life... because I felt the baby move for the first time! It was weird, Me and Matt were eating at Golden Palace Chinese Restaurant, and I was sitting there eating and I felt the baby move! It actually made me kind of sick to my stomach, and I couldn't eat anymore.... But it was amazing! =) I loved it!

April 3rd, 2007

Well we had a ultrasound done today and had a room full. It was Me, Matt, Krystal, Mama, Dad, and Tracy. Its a BOY!!! Which Matt told me the whole time that we were having a boy... And the first thing that Matt said after the doctor told us we were having a boy was "Well at least I don't have to go shopping for Barbie stuff!" I know he would have been happy no matter what the doctor told us but Matt wanted a boy very bad and that is what he got! We are so excited, and we can't wait to see him on the big screen again! His heartrate was 134.

Today I not only felt him move inside of me but I had my hand on my stomach and I felt him move that way! It scared me at first but then I just sat there waiting to feel it again. It is all so exciting.

Today we went in and saw the nurse and when the nurse went to go find Collins heartbeat, she asked Matt to find it! First he squeezed alot of the gel on my stomach (Probably twice the amount needed) and then he found Collins heartbeat right off! It was exciting for me and him both! His heartrate was 147.

Today Matt felt Collin move for the first time! It was very exciting! He kicked him and Matt had a huge smile on his face.

Today I felt Collin move again, but it was a different feeling! Today was the first time I felt him hiccup! It was so cute! My whole tummy just jumps up and down and back and fourth! So fun.

Today I saw Dr. Stanley and had another ultrasound done. Today was a ultrasound strickly to evaluate his heart and see if its normal. The results were great! Everything is 100% normal. The doctor said we are going to deliver a perfect baby! Yay! His heartreate was 130.

Today Matt and I both saw the baby move for the first time! We had felt him move, but have never saw my stomach move! Matt saw it and said "Why does your stomach move like that?" He is so silly.. I explained that the bigger Collin gets the more we will see him, cause he is getting strong! He is our little man!

While Matt was at work I laid in bed and watched Collin move and hiccup for about 30 minutes. It was a great show. He was making my stomach move so much. I swear its like he is trying out for the olympics in my tummy! =)

Today I had a normal appointment. Collins heartrate was in the 150's. I have been putting on the pounds & can't wait until he is here! I am getting so anxious!

Today I rode in a elevator, and Collin didn't like it! After I went up a couple of floors he wouldn't quit moving! I guess it scared the little guy! It was kinda funny though! It was like he was holding on to my insides! lol

Well today I didn't have a very good day... I have had a horrible ear ache, and I called Dr. Stanley's office to ask one of the nurses that if I have a ear infection and it goes untreated if it can hurt the baby. She said the only way is if my ear drum ruptures and it makes my fever go up, that is the only way it will hurt him. Well I was cooking dinner, and my ear popped and I couldn't hear out of it anymore. Matt was at work and had the vehicle so I called Mama and she came and got me and took me to the hospital. I got right in and when the doctor looked at my ear he said it was a really severe ear infection and it was a couple of hours away from rupturing my ear drum. He said it was a dark purple color and very swollen. So needless to say I got some medicine for it and hopefully it gets better! I am glad I caught it before it hurt little Collin.

July 5th, 2007

I had a regular checkup today and found out some good news!! I am suppose to be 30 weeks and 5 days along but when my doctor measured my uterus he told me that I am measuring at 36 weeks! So he thinks that I am further along than we thought! He told me that he was going to deliver around 37 to 38 weeks so I think my little boy is going to be here alot sooner than we expected! =) I am so ready to get this over with! I mean I have had a good pregnancy, I have had no complications at all and I had no morning sickness at all! The worst thing I have is heartburn! But I would take that over getting sick everyday anyday!

Okay so this morning around maybe 3:15 or so I went to the bathroom and I noticed some spotting!! I guess I should call the doctor and let him know!! ..... Okay I just called and they said that spotting once is not a big issue and for me to make sure it dosen't happen again over the weekend! They said that spotting more than once is a sign of the beginning of labor! SO if it happens again my little man will be here alot sooner than what we thought!

Okay so I went to the baby doctor today and I got some news for you all! I finally found out about when I am going to deliver! It's either going to be Thursday August 23rd, Friday August 24th, or Monday August 27th! Everything on Collin is measuring about what it is suppose to other than his legs! He is measuring a week behind but the doctor said he could just be taking after his daddy and be short! lol But he also told me that if I really wanted to that I could try delivering Vaginally but that is only if I wanted to go through the hours of labor! But I haven't made up my mind! And today he weighed 4 pounds 8 oz. and he still has another 6 weeks to grow! And the doctor said from now on he will gain either 1/2 pound or a pound a week so he could be either around 7 pounds or 10 pounds! It's all up to him! =) I have gained 27 pounds so far! But he said its all baby and placenta and water and amniotic fluid! So that is good! The ultrasound pics I got today I am not going to put on here until after my babyshower because they are doing some type of decoration with the pics so for you all that are going I don't want to ruin the surprise! But I will tell you he has got the chubbiest cheeks ever! I am talking these suckers are huge! lol But he is sooo cute! And now I start going every Tuesday and Friday for a non-stress test! And I go every Tuesday and Friday until he is born! So I will keep everyone posted!! =)July 14th, 2007Today was my 1st baby shower and it was great! I got so much great stuff for baby Collin! I am starting to get so excited! I was so glad that Matt went to my baby shower too! Everyone was like why did you make him come... and the way that I looked at it was its not just my baby its his too! So I wanted him to be there to see what all we got. He enjoyed it alot more than I thought he would! He played with everything that made noise.. That is Matt for you though! =) July 17th, 2007Well today I had my first Non-stress test, and they said that everything looked great. He was a little sleepy during the test but they brought in this thing that made a really loud buzzing noise and they stuck it on my stomach and it woke him up and made his heart accelerate just like it was suppose to. He is such a good baby, and I am so glad that everything has turned out so normal during the pregnancy.July 18th, 2007Well today I made a trip to the doctors office. Last night at about 4 a.m. I went to the restroom and noticed that I was spotting! I started having some cramping and they were like period cramps and they continued all night! I thought it may just be gas, but I fell asleep to having the pains. And then at 2:30 p.m. when I woke up, I woke up to the same feeling. I had no spotting but I figured that I should call the doctors office and talk to one of the nurses! So I called and talked to Jodi, and she told me to come up to the office cause it sounds like I am having some contractions. I got up there and they hooked me back up to the non-stress test machiene and I had no contractions at all! I had nothing! But the doctor wanted to check my cervix anyways, and when he did he realized that I am dialated to a 1 already! But he sent me back home and just told me to watch for anymore spotting. So we will see what happens! July 20th, 2007Well I went back in for another non-stress test and everything checked out to be normal! I go back on Tuesday so I will update you then! =)July 24th, 2007Today I went in for another non-stress test and it took the nurse a long time to finally get the device to pick up Collins heartbeat! He was moving so much and on top of that he had the hiccups so it was very hard for the machiene to pick up his heartbeat cause it was all so loud! Collin had the hiccups for about 10 minutes and finally they quit and he sat still long enough for the machien to pick up the sound of his heart! The nurse had me turn over onto my left side though because his heartrate kept dropping! After I did that everything was good! He was just a stubborn little sucker today and the nurse had to work around the hiccups! I love him and his little hiccups though! =) July 27th, 2007Well not much news here, we went to the doctor and was actually there for maybe 15 minutes! Everything checked out normal! Matt actually thought he would grab the buzzing noise maker thing they put on my stomach to wake the baby up if he is sleeping, and put it on my tummy and make Collin's heartrate go up! He is so silly! =) August 7th, 2007Today we went to the doctor and had a ultrasound done! Collin weighs in at 6 pounds 5oz. today! He had the hiccups during the ultrasound... and we actually got a interesting picture.... He was flipping off the camera, in plain sight! It was funny but he was being a naughty boy and taking after his daddy! lol The ultrasound tech. said that he has a head full of hair, which I am very excited about! I can't wait until he is here. Today I got his baby bed in his room and put the bedding in it and it looks so cute! I can't wait to have his room completely done! August 10th, 2007Today I went to the doctor and during my non-stress test I had 2 contractions. And the doctor checked my cervix and I am dialated to a 2. Yay! I got my Group B Strep swab done today too! So I find out soon about that! My doctor and I decided on schedueling the delivery for the 24th of this month and at 4:30a.m. So I have to be up bright and early! =) I can't wait! It is crazy to know that 2 weeks from right now I will be holding my son in my arms! I can't even imagine how wonderful it is going to be! =) August 11th, 2007Well apparently today I lost my mucus plug! It was really gross! But my doctor said I could still carry him for up to 3 weeks! But since I am getting induced in 1 week and 3 days that won't happen! =) I am getting so excited and so nervous at the same time! August 14th, 2007Today I had another non-stress test, and everything looks good! I got my results back from my Group B Strep and I tested Positive.. So they will have to give me some antibiotics during delivery so it dosen't hurt the baby and make him sick! I get another ultrasound done on Friday to find out how big he is to see if I have to have a c-section or not! To me I really don't care, to me its whatever is best for my little Collin! August 17, 2007Well today I found out that I am delivering on the 25th of this month! That is only 8 days away! Yay! I can't wait for him to finally be here! Unfourtanetly I don't get to deliver vaginally... I have to get a c-section done because my little guy already weighs 8 pounds 2 ounces! So he is going to be a big boy! But they were worried about him getting shoulder displasia. So the doc told me that he would feel safer just delivering by c-section. Which whatever is more healthy and safe for my little boy I will go that route! I can't believe that he is almost here! August 25th, 2007Well I am about to leave to go to the hospital... It is 4:00 a.m. I am so ready to meet him! I am not nervous yet, but I will be when I get there prolly! Wish me luck!!! August 28, 2007Well today we got home! My little miracle was 9 pounds and 6 oz. and 22 inches long! He was such a big boy! I was really nervous about my c-section but that is the ONLY way I would ever want to go! As soon as I arrived at the hospital and they got me checked in, I went into my room and they started the IV. As soon as that started I started having contractions 6 minutes apart and man were they painful!! I would not want to go through full labor cause if the contractions hurt that bad at the beginning I wouldn't want to feel them at the end! But I had them for about 20 minutes and then I went back into the O.R. and they gave me my spinal block and they went away of course! Did I mention that spinal blocks are AWESOME!! I didn't feel anything! It was crazy! But the delivery went perfectly! He came out on his own and he was perfect! It was so crazy, One minute he is in my belly and then another minute, I am staring him right in the face! Talk about love at first sight! He is the most amazing thing ever! I love him so much and he is such a blessing! The only thing he had wrong with him is his jaundice level got up to 14! We had to come home with a billie light blanket but it will be okay! We will make it! =)
