Hey!! My name is Shandy I am 20 years old living in Good Ole Arkansas lol..I have lived here all my life I recently moved from NWA to NEA with my Fiance who is in the Army & just got home from Iraq!! We are planning on getting married after the baby has arrived...This will be my first baby I am due Oct 20th I am totally excited but then again nervous in some ways! try not to worry too mcuh about that test. they have many false positives. i did, mine came back as higher than normal chance for downs. but we didnt do anything abt it, they suggested an amnio and at that ealy in pg it is a higher chance of miscarrying the baby by doing the amnio than it is that the baby actually had doens. and we werent going to abort either way. i had to see the perinatologist every month since then and theyve done 3d u/sounds everytime and our baby shoes NO signs at all of having downs syndrome.... and if he does once he is born, we will love him just the same.

Hey i just read ur comment on cravings and i thot i had a problem coz the sight and thought of sweet things makes me wanna cry. I prefer hot and spicy foods and yup u guessed it, im carrying a boy (yay!!). I guess this whole sweet VS sour/spicy thing is kinda true just like the whole if ur carrying low its a boy and high means a girl lol!

Yea it hasn't been bad..just when i blow my nose. My sinuses haven't really bothered me much though. i plan on at least letting my doctor know. its not really really bad bleeding though. so i guess tahts good. thank you so much for your help

Oh pregnancy is pregnancy!! Thankfully I was never sick but I think it's catching up with me because it seems like such a chore to straighten my hair... like I'm going to pass out if I don't take a break! I get a ribcage full of booty and feet from time to time and that's uncomfortable but other than that, it's great. I'm just ready to be done so I can have my body back to myself!! How has your's been so far? I know the first several weeks can be rough...

Hey, I just read your comment in the Weight forum... we are kinda in the same boat. I only weighed 100 before I got pregnant. I just have never been able to gain weight either and I could eat more than a 200 lb man!! lol I didn't gain much until I got past 20 weeks... then it started pretty steady. I'm now 32 weeks and weigh 118, which may not seem like much but my doctor never says anything. I think he understands that people just gain weight differently. Hope this helps and good luck!!

my hubby is from west memphis so they r huge hog fans its all about #5 D-Mac around here. I am clueless about football but im amongst all boys so i just go along for the ride lol, ill have to ask hubby about the 2 u mentioned im sure he ll know them lol. im sorry, i never got morning sickness or anything like that! i actually have had a pretty good pregnancy and i only have 3 weeks left! you know the old wives tale is if your sick its a girl, if your not its a boy! haha i dont know if i believe that but i never got sick and im having a boy!

i lost 19 pounds in the beginning, so im not even back up to prepreg weight yet lol. its cool tho. i didnt start gaining til 22 weeks. the most ive gained at a time is 3 pounds. so i guess im doing alright :/

well, for me it was easy b/c i had u/s every 2 weeks with the probe to check my cervix. therefore, everything was crystal clear of the baby so it was very easy to see his man parts! i am doing great, 37 weeks and counting down. you?
