hey there, wow.... i have never heard of staples that dissolve. You really need to see a doctor. I had staples with my second c-section and they were removed by a nurse at the hospital a week after my c-section. I had trouble with one of my staples. I can't imagine how they must feel for you being in so long. You are at risk of infection if they don't dissolve. Go and get them checked ASAP!!

Check with your OB because I don't think the staples dissolve. I was released without having them removed, a mistake that will not be made this time, and I got an infection.

Hi, I say your post about your staples...I had a c-section with my first baby almost 8 years ago...but they wouldn't let me leave the hospital til the dr took the staples out 3 days after I delivered. The insision hurt for quite some time, if I remember right well after my 6 weeks post check. Congratulations on your twins, so exciting.
