I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If your water broke you would no it. I will trickle or be a continious flow. But when it does break do not have a bath as it can cause infection. Wait till you get to the hospital and get checked out first.

That happened to my feet, and everything turned out to be ok! But, I would have the doctor check it out ASAP just to be certain... it could be a sign of toxemia, which would require special attention right away.. Also, if you are still wearing your rings, take them off now! My hands swelled up soon after my feet, and after much trying of different techniques, I had to have my wedding & engagement ring cut from my hand today,... good luck!

i would go somewhere to check your blood pressure... i don't know what part of the US you are from, but major super markets tend to have BP machines available to the public there. Also, look for other symptoms such as light spots in your vision, migraine that you can't get rid of, pain in the right quadrant of you chest.... but i would definetly start by checking your blood pressure. an immediate onset of water retention is most definetly a symptom of toxemia...(i had it sever with my first daughter) if you can't do anything as far as call your doctor and check your BP until tomorrow, sleep with your legs elevated and drink plenty of water... NO SODIUM!!! :) good luck hun.

What is your blood pressure? Swelling could be a sign of preeclampsia but I don't think it comes on so suddenly like that. I agree with noodle - go put your feet up above your heart. If you don't notice them go down by morning, I would call the doc just to check.

I used Accupressure with my 3rd and she was born 9 hours later. So according to me, it works!!!! LOL!!! I will be using it again this time! And soon! LOL
