Hi my name is shannon and i am too excited to be pregnant. I have a beautiful 10 year old daughter that is my world. she has been bugging me for years to give her a brother or sister, but i was never able to conceive. I started dateing walt in march of last year and he is great. He is 15 years older than me but i guess age really ain't nothing but a number. he completes me and i think we are really good for each other. when we started dateing i told him i couldn't have no more kids becouse that was my honest thought, doctors had told me i had cysts on my ovaries and my cervics and that i wouldn't be able to have anymore kids. in september walts grandmother got really sick and my school is right down the street from the hospital so in between classes and stuff i would go and check on her and talk to her and just take some of the pressure off of his family that she was being properly taken care of. on october the 16th we went to the hosptal and there was like 15 family members there, she seamed to be doing fine and was totally off all breathing machines but the dr's had informed us that she would have to be moved to a nurseing home the following day, and that was something she was totally against the next morning with her pastor by herside 30 mins before she was to be moved to the nurseing home she passed peacefully at 83 years old. i thank god for the time i was able to spend with her becouse when my own great grandmother was in the same state i was unable to be there and i think being there for her gave me peace of mind. anyways the irony to this story is right after thanksgiving i found out i was pregnant.. wow i was blown away and walt said i thought u couldn't have any more kids lol he is so sarcastic... anyways when i found out my date of conception it blew me away. i concevied on oct 17 the same day she passed. I think she seen how much i loved walt and asked god to give us a lil one. so thats my story!!!

Saturday, 9 Feb

well i went for my G.D. test and i have to wait a whole week for the results to come back. i swear that test is totally crule lol.but get this when i was preg with my daughter the stuff u had to drink was orange and looked like spit. today she gave me a fruit punch drink and it wasn `t too bad i just drank it to quick. i told her i was about to be sick and she said if i lost it i would have to come back 2 days later and do it again. so you better beleve i held that stuff in.. i had the strangest craveing tonight. i was eating taco `s and decided to put ketchup on them wtf.. it was so yummy. my daughter was like you are sick momma. i might be but it was too good. i figured out yesterday that my baby hates pizza. i haven `t had it in a while and we have had it twice this week for 2 diffrent places and i got sick both times. dang i thought all kids love pizza...lol

hey ladies, well my 3 hour test came back and it was negitive. she said it was like a 49 what ever that means. i am really excited about next week only 6 more days till will find out if it is india or lil walt... we are moving into the downstairs apartment where we live today and it has a shower and no more stairs. we currently only have a bathtub, and it is gettin harder and harder for me. so a shower is going to be so great. we get the keys here in a lil while might have to take one before we move our stuff in lol... yesterday was v-day. my baby got me a card a teddybear and some candy and him and my daughter took me out to eat. we went to a resturant called kingfish it is so yummy. but i had a good vday. ttyl

Monday, 25 Feb

well I feel pretty good today in week 20 woo hoo.. half way there. i had my ultra sound on friday and it looks like we are going to have a little girl, the tech was not positive so i think i am going to wait for one more ultrasound just to be sure before i go all out in pink.. i am really happy with it being a girl thought. althought i am like wow 18 more years of combing hair. my daughter has been tenderheaded but is gettin to the point where she does her own hair most of the time. so now i get to start all over owell hope this one ain `t tenderheaded cause she will hate me lol..i go to the dr on thursday and i have pleanty of questions since the tech said my placenta was still covering my cervic. plus hopefully she will have to take me to ultrasound for some reason and i can get another peak at my baby `s sex. time is flying by....

well i am now in week 21 and feel like time is really going by fast, I love being pregnant at this point i am sure that once it gets hot and as i get bigger and bigger that will change. my dh neice is also prego and was suposed to be due the day after me, well it turns out she is now due on june the 26th and just now pretty much told anyone she is prego. she is 17. im mad cause she has her baby first lol... let see whats new.. hum.. i have lost 6 pounds at my dr apt last thursday for a total weight gain of 4 pounds wooo hoo.. but i was big already so i guess baby is liveing off the land so to speak and by eating healthier i am able to lose some weight. not by tryin.. well so long from week 21. 19 weeks to go woo hoo. yeah....

Thursday, 1 May
well i had my ultrasound on monday and there is only one in there and she is still a lil girl. she weights 3 pounds and 8 oz and is still measuring july the 6th so we are going to go with that date even though the dr don't think it will be that long. I would really like to go into labor naturally but it would be nice to get induced at 37 weeks. with bre my water broke but i was not in labor at 37 weeks so i had to be induced and it was hell cause they had me confined to the bed. i want to be able to walk around and talk a shower and stuff not just lay on my back. 45 minutes before my water broke i ate some good ol soul food meat loaf, mashed potato's, mac and cheese, greens, and cornbread. so i guess when i can't take being pregnant no more i am going to have my granny make me that and see if it does the trick again lol. i re enrolled in school today i am going to take 2 online classes this summer and then return to regular classes in the fall. i can't wait to get that over with. well belly rubs too all ttyl
