Thanks for your message, doing great!!! Had to go back to school, SUCKS..no other way to put it. I'm a wreck when I have to leave in the morning and I am gone for 6 long agonizing hours so the day goes by really slow. Nothing like pumping your boobs in the bathroom of a nursing home!!!!!!!! Anyway, just gotta get through the next 2 weeks and I can put up some pics ofthe lil guy. I just adore him and I LOVE being a Mommy!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anything new with you and your men??? Any word on the next one? LOL

Hey Sharon!
Kip made his appearance on Sun April 13th at 3:14 am. He is 8.5 lbs and 21 inches and I am so in love!!!!! Wanted to give you a quick update, at school right now :( Unfortunately the next 3 weeks are gonna absolutely suck b/c I have a crap load of school work to do and I had to leave him today for the first time and was uncontrollably crying so i have no idea how this is gonna work. Have to figure out my breast pump before tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!! I'll write ya later to give more details. Hope all is well over there and your lil Benji is cuter every time I log on!!! Those eyes are killer! :)

I read your post on the breastfeeding page. I am willintg to bet it is hormonal. I am trying to stop breastfeeding/pumping during the day at work and after 6 hours I get crazy and the only thing I can think about is feeding the baby and then I have to pump. Isn't it funny the way our bodies are programed. You did such a wonderful for your baby , something a lot of moms don;t bother to do and you did it for 6 months. that is awesome! I hope the doctor can help you through this. I have a feeling you feel better in a few days when your hormones regulatre. Take Care!

Hi there, i read your message regarding depression over weaning. I've bf all three of my kids and it doesnt get any easier to wean them. I think that hormones play a huge part in your feelings, just like when you become pregnant. With my last daughter I bf once in the morning and once at night until she was about 15months and I still felt guilty over stopping. If your baby is happy with bottles or even sippy cups you should feel proud of yourself for making it this far, you've done amazing work for your baby. Best wishes.

I just read what you wrote...I just wanted to say I know this for sure, that when you are breastfeeding (and this varies) that depression won't trigger as much because you're releasing a certain hormone while doing it. When you stop breastfeeding, or do it once a day, it can trigger irritability and depression, and this soon will pass as soon as your body stabilizes a bit. This is what a doctor told me before. I'm really sorry you feel this way though, hope you feel better very soon.

Hey Momma!!!! How are you? Always nice to hear from ya! I'm hanging in over here, getting really excited but really nervous. I have 2 more days of my Med Surg clinical and then the next 3 weeks I am in my community rotation at a nursing home which should be cake....I have to get through this week, I have a project due on Wed and an exam on Thurs, so anytime after my exam on Thurs will work. (I remind him 4 x a day to stay in there!!!) I can't believe how big Benji is, Jeez! He's absolutely precious, from the pics It's hard to tell who he favors, he seems like a mix of both of you. In my opinion though, he definitely has your eyes, or the shape at least..What do you think???? How's your quest for baby #2 going? Have you made any decisions? Well, I will definitely keep you posted, I finally own a digital camera now so when Kip comes I wil be able to post pics!!!!! Hope all is well, talk to you soon!!!

OMG GUESS WHAT!!!! I GOT 2 POSITIVE TESTS BACK!!! last night and this morning!!!! We werent planning on having them THIS close together but were still happy and excited!! I just hope all goes well....I hope my body is strong enough to carry it!...I also wonder if its a valiable pregnancy and all the worrying as just begun ALL OVER AGAIN lol.....So anyways how have you been??? OLI IS GREAAAAAAAAAT!!!! shes huge shes 18lbs and I havent started feeding her baby food yet but i think VERY SOON I WILL....she was fien with her 4 month shots! thats so sad that Benji got a fever :(....Im working in med records and i see people all the time that have had c sections and been pregnant again in like 4 months and then had another c section....i know they say not to do it but tons of ppl have made it threw from what I see!!....anyways girl I will keep you posted....I am going to the docs on monday and he will have to do bloodwork and stuff! anyways hope Benji is GREAT :) and i will talk to you soon!!!

HEY GIRL!!!! hows it goin??? thats awesome that Benji did so well on the plane!! we are going away in the summer and im soooo nervous about Olivia on the plane!!..I had her to the docs a week ago for her 4 months needles and she weighs 18 pounds too!! honestly I cant believe how much I love her!!! and I knwo you feel the same about Benji!!! even on my bad days she always makes me laugh! We just got our new house on friday so we are painting and stuff and hopefully moving in next friday!! so thats exciting!! and like i said before Im hoping to be pregnant by Oct again....but im also trying to figure things out with school and stuff too....im not sure which one is the best to put on hold for now...decisions decisions!!! Is Benji rolling over yet?? Olivia has rolled over twice but she trys all the time and gets mad when she cant lol!

no I had a miscarriage last feb 2007 and he found that my bladder was stuck to it and when i had my second baby it took two drs to get him out!

just wanted to say yes I did get pregnant 1 year after my C-SECTION my dr never told me not to I did not have a vback by choice but now with I wish I did because I had soooo much scar tissue from the first 2 the third baby had to come out with a vertical incision uhhh it is not to bad because I AM NOT OVER WEIGHT BUT I DONT LIKE IT!

Well, I will be thrilled if all goes well with breastfeeding b/c your lil 'roundy' is adorable and is getting all those imp vits/mins/and antibodies from you!(Can you tell I just took my breastfeeding class?) It's funny though, I am 5'10 and my husband is 6'6 and everyone is telling us what a big child we will have. although both are families are tall, we each have a short granny on each side, so watch our little one be a shrimpie!(although, gauging by the size of my butt he should come out toddler size) Can't wait to finish school...Can't believe your ready to do this all over again so soon! I think you do have to have sex to get pregnant in most cases, but it's been so long that i forget....I will keep you in my thoughts and pray you get an opportunity to get preggy!!! (wink, wink)

He hee, good question about whether the baby urge goes away after a few! After we had our second I remember saying I could have gone again quite soon, if money had been no object and I could afford to stay home and employ a nanny too!! (Not realistic....) Then for a while the two kids were a bit all-consuming and we thought we 'd finished, and I had to do a bit of convincing to get my husband to go back for #3. But now we have Clem, we have toyed with the idea of another so we can have two pairs, little mates for each other. It's tempting and again, given limitless resources I think we would do it. But wow the grocery bills we have now with 3 growing boys... and keeping up with the school stuff like readers and notes and whatever, phew. And I'm really loving being able to enjoy Clem, just for himself. And I'm 37 now, and we don't want to spend all the rest of our lives raising kids. I think we're done now. So anyway, cut a short answer long, I reckon go for number two and then see how you feel! They are kinda addictive. Benji looks like a little honey. Good luck!

Good to hear from you!! I love the pics! He is adorable!!! I can't believe how much he has changed over the past few months! He makes his 8 yr old cousin look tiny..Is he off the charts for size or is it just the pic? Are you and/or your Hubby really tall? I'm going to see him in Sports Illustrated in a few yrs!!! :) Everything is going well, school is killing me,(5 days a week!) and I'm still working 30 hrs a week. I guess it's ok b/c I'm too busy to be freaked out yet. I just had to do all my stuff to sit for boards..(Background check, fingerprinting, etc.) I'll still have 3 weeks of school after my due date, including 2 exams, clinicals and the HESI exam so...I guess we'll see. I registered for a really good pump and my aunt is a lactation consultant, my mother in law is a post partum nurse, and my mom and sister are going to help me out, so I'm lucky to have a lot of support. I'll die if I'm doing all this work and I can't graduate on time! Just got a call today that our furniture is in... Hooray! I finally got a digital camera for my b-day so as soon as I figure out how to work the darn thing I'll update my page....Other than that everything is great. I've been very lucky to have had a physically easy pregnancy with no problems.
So, I was reading some of your other comments...are you getting preggo again???? I can't imagine being ready to do this again in 6 months!!! Well, you and your husband make beautiful babies!!! Thanks for checking in and please keep in touch!!!!

Hi, I just wanted to tell you that I had my first two kids 14 months apart (a bit of an accident but secretly I was rather delighted). My husband and I were so besotted with our first and just on a kind of 'baby high'. We were not careful enough and the rest is history! It was very hard work for a while, okay maybe about two years, he hee, but our two 'big boys' who are now 5 and 6 are the best buddies and I can't imagine what they would do without each other. If there's anything more beautiful than your first child it's seeing your first and subsequent kids playing together. I didn't have a c-section so I don't know what the physical requirements are for recovery but I'd get a second opinion on the 18 months, for sure! Go on, have another one, the sooner the better I reckon :)

hello, i just read your comment on wanting to get prego again and i also feel the same way. lol. my baby is only 5 weeks but i cant wait for number two! i also had a c section and i have a friend who got pregnant quickly after her c section and all went well for her and she had a vbac! people are telling me to wait at least a year also, but i am going to leave it in God's hands. my husband and i don't use birth control either so we will see what happens.

Awww poor guy! Olivia got a really bad cold to im not sure if i told you or not but she almost ended up in the hospital :( she had bronchitis...it was really scarey....Shes been great! I love her more and more each day! she hates tummy time? Does Benji?.....and yes we are hoping for a boy next time only because I just want 2 kids and I want one of each if I have another little Oli that is perfectly fine tho....for some reason i think i will have one more girl and then end up having 3 kids the last one being a boy! are you guys hoping for a girl next time?

Hey Momma! I cannot believe I'm in the 3rd already!!! It's gone by soooo fast! Went back to school this week..UGH! Care Plans galore, I'm sure you remember those days! A little overwhelmed with school, but I'm just going to do my best....It's not like I'm going out and boozing on the weekends!!!! I have had such an easy pregnancy, I've been very blessed. I haven't been sleeping so well lately b/c of heartburn and some shortness of breath when I lay down..I'm carrying very high..it will be weird to breath normally again!!!! But overall, I really can't complain, the little guy has been pretty easy on me!So, how are you feeling? Have you totally transitioned into 'Mommyhood'? Benji is so cute...He almost doen't look real he's so perfect!!! I love his cheeks!!!!You and your hubby made a good DNA 'recipe'!!! I'm starting to worry b/c my husband and I were both very ugly babies...He looked like an old man and my nose spanned my entire face..not that I wouldn't love my ugly baby regardless! :)what is his schedule like? Is he sleeping for you a couple of hours at time at all? It was nice talking to you!!! Thanks for your message!
