That's cool it's a boy and even cooler your a twin! I am so excited about it now although it was a real shock at first. Put new scan and belly pic on site if you want to have a nose. Taz xx

Thanks you so much for your comments. I don't feel crazy anymore. I agree with what you said about the worry, pain, excitement, etc. I think my husband has no clue sometimes and thinks it like waiting for a cake to come out of the oven. He cares and is excited but doesn't understand the way other pregnant women do. So thank you for your encouragement and CONGRATULATIONS on your little boy!!! Best wishes to you and your family and a belated Happy Mother's Day!!

How organized, we are not going to find out, they wont tell us anyway at our hospital so our choice is made easier. How are you feeling, I am feeling great now babay is moving around its as if its telling me its ok. We have our 20wk scan on the 21st and then we fly over to the states for a 2 week holiday so I cant wait. TC mand

Thanks doll! I seem to be ok during the night - well once I'm asleep - and I'm ok first thing in the morning. I have been trying to stay sitting up after meals and not drinking a whole lot while i'm eating (read somewhere that it helps). I normally don't like milk, but I'm trying it out. And as for OJ - I have never liked the stuff before, but for the last week it was topped my craving list - to the point of "I will die if don't get a glass of OJ" lol. If it keeps up i'll try the health food store and then talk to my doc - it's just uncomfortable, but not stopping me from doing anything. Thanks a bunch for the advise!!! Happy mommy's day!! xo

First off - Congrats on "Little Man"! I was diagnosed at 12 weeks. On Easter Sunday I got up made bis. & gravy, eggs, bacon, apples, coffee & o.j. My husband's grandfather was here and I always make a big breakfast for him. We had slept in that morning and by the time I had gotten halfway through cooking I was exhausted, hot and sweaty and didn't feel good at all. Mind you I had not been up long. My husband and I did have intercourse that morning and I took a shower so I wasn't up long at all before feeling bad. I went upstairs and laid across the bed to rest. I went downstairs long enough to kiss and hug Granddaddy bye and went right back upstairs stripped naked and went back to bed. Luckily we have a sofa in our bedroom and Joedy spent Easter Sunday upstairs with me. At 7:30 that evening I had laid across Joedy on the couch and felt myself bleeding. I mean bleeding. I had passed huge blood clots while blood ran down my legs. I was terrified I thought oh know here comes miscarriage #3. But Joedy refused to except that. Some how he got me calmed down within minutes. Called the on-call service at my Dr. office. They recommended me to just prop my legs up get plenty fluids and rest rather than come sit in the ER for hours. I had an emergency appt. first thing Monday morning. When I heard his heartbeat and Dr. Pixley turned the monitor around and I seen Baby Young's arm waving at me and Joedy as if to say I'm still here mom and dad of course I broke down. Baby Young was ok and we're still here healthy and happy. My last appt.was April 25th. THE PLACENTA HAD MOVED. We believe in prayer and faith and that's what we did. We prayed and we had the faith that this guy is going to make it and we were going to carry to full term with no problems. Dr. Pixley was sure it would move since I was diagnosed so early. The hardest part of course was going 5 weeks without making love to the man who's breath that I breathe. Just get plenty of rest and load up on fluids. Who cares if you have not vacuumed in a couple of days or your husband has cleaned up the kitchen the past few nights. Right now you and "Little Man" are the most important thing. Sorry, I got a little emotional and carried away. Best of luck. You're in my Prayers.

well, last few times my baby's heartbeat was over 150, and i joked with the MD that it was a girl..he'd say it was ALL a myth, and i said i knew it was a boy...but then it turned out a girl, so that is all 50/50.

thats great news sharra!!!..a girl and a boy..welcome to the boys club.....they are beautiful beings boys...so sensitive and gorgeous..i have learnt heaps from my two boys...well I am having ultrasound in few weeks but have decided to wait on surprise of gender!!!....cant bring myself to look just yet...am feeling alot better now....staying away from fatty foods..slipery elm and enzymes work pretty well if I remember to take regularly....energy returning although tired by 8pm at night..but all good....i cant believe we are close to half way..amazing isnt it....xx

awwww.. a little boy... so sweet.. congrats... i am conflicted as i want both.... i have a daughter and hubby has a son.. so he wants a girl and i obviously want a boy.. but i would feel so bad if he didnt get his girl.. he has his heart set on one... he wants a little princess to spoil and says that you are not fully a man until you have a daughter... awwww... but if i got a girl i would be happy for him but sad for me.. ohhhhh the confusion.. ahhh well... one healthy baby would be just fine with me...
