Tuesday, 1 July Well, there is humor in everything if we chose to laugh instead of cry xx judi -
Tuesday, 1 July When I answered you on the week 26 page, I didn't really know who I was talking to, but just looked at your profile: it's nice to meet another somewhat older mom, as especially one who enjoys riding a bike! Some of the ladies on here are the same age as my eldest son!
We don't own a car, and it's a bit far to walk into town, so we all ride bikes everywhere. Kids ride to school, husband rides to work, and I make a grocery trip most days, although my husband brings a couple of big loads of shopping home every Saturday.
How's Baby going? I've gone a little crazy, and bought much more stuff for her than she needs, but I just can't help myself, when baby clothes are SO cute! Also I already have a hospital bag mostly packed and ready. But I reckon it's better to be prepared. Two of mine were born at 32 weeks, so I know better than to wait until the last minute!
Anyway, thanks for your reply. Take care on that bike!

Sunday, 29 June I hate dust! It's my total enemy. We have two dogs in the house and a cat and children, so I can dust one day and by the fourth day, it looks like I haven't dusted in a month. The sweeping is much worse though. I could sweep 8 times a day and it wouldn't be too much. I still think dusting is the worst because there is so much more to dust (whatnots, pictures, furniture, etc.), and I don't care if my floors get that dirty every day. That's just life. But the dusting. . . . How do you explain to visitors that you really did dust this week? The floors, they can understand, the dusting is questionable. Courtney H.ItaliaBrit -

Saturday, 28 June I'm very confused by it all. It's extremely complicated and can cause nothing at all or mental, physical retardation, misscarriage, etc. Wide range. kargy -
Saturday, 28 June No, we do not have any children yet.. this will be our first :) I can't wait for him to get here, but at the same time I think I'm going to have a rude awakening with my entire life changing... I'm not complaining though.. I am definitely ready for the change!!! I see you are a psychology student. How much longer before you are finished? I've had my M.S. in psychology for almost 2 years now... I love the field, but sometime wished I wouldn't have went into the mental health field... I have sort of been considering going back to finish the few undergrad credits I need to become a teacher. It costs so much money and takes so much time, so I don't know if that will happen now... Baby is much more important... don't want to miss a thing with him because this is the only baby we plan to have! kirvia -

Saturday, 28 June It is refered to as that because it has an extremely long real name. I don't even know exactly. It is a problem (rare) with your blood (a genetic mutation) and hinders your body from absorbing folic acid kargy -
Saturday, 28 June Thanks!! I know that I'm just assuming he thinks I'm lazy.. I do really know that that is not the case.. He is very supportive and is so complimentary about how I take care of myself and our baby.. I just feel like there isn't enough getting done around here.. I can only imagine it will be worse once baby is here :) wilsonwilson -
Friday, 27 June Hi, thanks for that but I am not eating salt at all apart from natural in foods etc. My GTT came back perfect and all was ok and midwife has put me at low risk so I am not sure what it is. Ah ha I just remembered I am on antibiotics for an infection, I am hoping it is that. I hope you found the something sweet to eat, anything nice? Have a good one and i will catch you later x hotpotaaaaato -

Wednesday, 25 June My dogs are both spoiled. We bought the dvd about baby language, and when we played it, a couple times, our dogs' ears perked up. We are going to play it more often as time nears so that they get used to crying baby sounds. Also, I'm going to get a baby doll real soon and dress the doll in our baby's clothes and anything of baby's. We are also going to sleep some nights with blankets and clothing so that the dogs smell us on them and won't feel as if they can challenge the baby. The main thing is that we are going to never ever leave our child alone with our dogs and always be very near when they are around. Thanks for asking. beatlebabeplusone -
Wednesday, 25 June i get those really low kicks all the time bless her cotton socks !! gr8scottswife -
Wednesday, 25 June I'm sorry you're feeling so down. I have been getting lots and lots of practice about not getting sleep. I wake up multiple times during the night to pee, and if either of our dogs roll over, I notice it and am awake. I go to bed around 11:00 or later each night and wake up around 5:45 a.m. So, I think I'm going to do great with not having any sleep. My husband is a different story. He can be a bear when he's awakened. I'm mostly concerned about him. I don't want him being frustrated with Thumper and me because he's being awakened in the night. One more challenge to write down and prepare for before Thumper arrives. chancesmommy -

Tuesday, 24 June I think gall bladder had a melt down because I was away and eating out a fair bit and although I was being v careful one never really knows what oils etc the restarants use....but for the first time I took the paracetomol and codeine mix and worked really well to eliminate the pain..although they were the drowsy free tabs I did get drowsy, lucky it happened at night time too!! I am sooo sensitive, rarely take pharmaceuticals but couldnt bear the pain for hours!! Having a nice, warm homemade vegi soup tonight..mmmmm..oh and the polyp is inside gall bladder apparantly..I see specialist 2nd July to have a chat....
