Our baby is almost 3 months old and he has brought so much joy to our lives. Here's what he is doing lately, cooing, sucking thumb, repeating sounds, sleeping through the night (most nights) smiling up a storm and drinking a whopping 7 onces each feeding. At his last check up he was 13.5 pounds! 90th percentile!

Thursday, 29 May Thanks for the comment on my little boy Ryland's picture a few days back. How is your little Peter doing? From what his profile said, he is already a year old?? marinewifemommy -
Tuesday, 27 May yeah I get like 3 ounces every 2-3 hours. Not sure if thats enough but as far as I thought everyone tells me newborns only eat 2-3 ounces every 2 hours. I started crying when I was told I may have to start giving him formula and stop breastfeeding because I LOVE the bonding with breastfeeding. I feel so close to him. So far I am doing ok so I am just anxious to see what the dr says when he sees him on June 2nd. beautifulbebe -

Tuesday, 20 May I tried to mitts for about one day haha They fell off way too many times! She is actually really good about not scratching her face. She only touches her face a lot when she is tired or nursing. At least when nursing I can stop her from scratching her face. But sometimes she manages to grab my nipple with her little baby claws and OUCH does that hurt crabscanfly -

Friday, 16 May Thanks for your response - I am breastfeeding, so maybe that is the cause of the cramps, especially since they feel more like contractions did than any other cramps I've ever had. Hopefully they stop soon! Cryptic304 -

Friday, 28 Mar Hi there.. I cant inmagine that anything that anyone says can really make you feel better right now.. but I just want you to know that I read your post and was amazed at how strong you are.. you talked about how strong your mom was and we can all really see that she passed that trait onto you. You seem like you had a really special close relationship with her and just know that she will be there with you watching while you give birth to your little baby.. and you're right, moms have to be the strongest of all for their babies.. I cant imagine what you're going through right now, but if you ever need to talk or 'vent' just drop a line... I'm so very sorry for your loss, you and your family are in my prayers.. God Bless. lilysmom -
Friday, 28 Mar Just wanted to give you some words of encouragement. We lost my father in law about six weeks ago VERY suddenly. We had no idea that he might not meet our new little baby. It's a very hard emotion to deal with and I wish you the very best. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Stay strong and have faith - you are never dealt more than you can handle, even though things seem very sad sometimes. Titti -
