hi all- i managed to put a couple videos up- taken with my phone so quality isn't great, but i'm pretty proud of myself. :)

I know exactly what you mean, when i got pregnant i said ok so this is my last baby so i will give breastfeeding a try, but if it doesnt work im not bothered...
getting it established was one of the hardest things...it hurt sooo damn bad but i was completely hooked...it is the most special thing isn't it! and i never expected to say that...it is just such a unique thing...I had to supplement with formula because he dropped too much weight and the midwife told me to give him some formula...i had delayed milk too....so anyway now he gets both and it works well for us....

I'm not in a million years suggesting you stop bfeeding until you are ready (i'm no-where near ready to stop and it will break my heart when i do)....but a bottle at night is not the same thing...it's just a bottle at night and your milk is well established now and it won't be affected.......anyway I hope things get better soon...lots of love honey xxxx

won't harm to try honey....happy mummy makes a happy baby...what's good for you is good for her....try not to get too worried about this it's no biggie, you've bfed her for ages, and it won't be all that long til they start solids anyway....I know it's not my business but if it were me I would keep her awake for a couple hours, give her a nice bubble bath then tank her up with a nice big warm bottle of formula...then she will go out like a light, and you should too.....but that's just my opinion and I know you will do whatever works best for you...don't worry I know you are just about beyond yourself but this WILL pass and things will settle down.....formula is not the devils potion....my older 2 never had anything else, I bfed reuby for the first time...and its hard work....give yourself a pat on the back and give yourself a break....xxxxx

hetibelle - Saturday, 15 November
ok I just read all that, so she is flat out from 8pm - 2am?....that's a good block of sleep?...reuby sleeps 11-5 ish give or take 30 mins....he goes to bed same time as me....

are you still only bfeeding?....cos if you are then I would be seriouslt tempted to do formula at night?...

hetibelle - Saturday, 15 November
hey shauna how is life treating you?...how are all your gang doing/...getting ready for chrimbo?....

hetibelle - Friday, 7 November
fuck sake man I have total nappy brain....I just hit delete on your post instead of reply.....DOH!!!
I am off the minipill as of today...and I reckon I'm allergic to condoms cos it burns when we use them...hmmmm...withdrawal eh....
As far as I'm concerned Reuben was conceived on Dec 6th...but all my scans bumped me forward by a week....which would mean he was conceived via the withdrawal method......cos my hubby only emptied his sack inside me on one time the whole month of dec......I caught him with his guard down see.....lmaoooooooo whoopsie!!!might try the normal pill when I stop bfeeding....dunno when that'll be though...

Should children witness childbirth?

Due to a power outage, only one paramedic responded to the call.

The house was very dark so the paramedic asked Kathleen, a 3-yr old girl to hold

a torch high over her mummy so he could see while he helped deliver the baby.

Very diligently, Kathleen did as she was asked.

Heidi pushed and pushed and after a little while, Connor was born.

The paramedic lifted him by his little feet and spanked him on his bottom.

Connor began to cry.

The paramedic then thanked Kathleen for her help and asked the wide-eyed 3-yr old

what she thought about what she had just witnessed.

Kathleen quickly responded, 'He shouldn't have crawled in there in the first place...

smack his arse again!'

If you don't laugh at this one there is no hope for you

hetibelle - Thursday, 6 November
hahaha....thanks honey....his legs are ridiculous!!....how are you doing?..xxxx

dtcakes77 - Thursday, 6 November
hi, my ped. tells me its perfectly normal for a baby to go 3 days without pooping. My daughter has the same problem. She can't seem to poop on her own. i have to stimulate her to go because if she hasn't had one in a day she starts screaming.
