ok, better keep a list of whats been going on, or else I wont be able to remember when the little one is all grown up and Im telling them how hard my pregnancy was.
At 8 weeks I had bad cramping and passed some blood clots. Straight to the hospital, where the doctors said that an edge of my placenta had lifted and torn. So, two weeks doctor ordered bed rest.

Then at 11 weeks had a bad pain in my side, so back to the hospital. Turned out to be an enlarged liver (which is weird cos I dont drink alcohol), but doctors said not much they can do untill after the baby is born.

Have had my 12 week ultra sound and blood tests, all is normal and healthy with the baby. Its just me who is as sick as a dog. I have had the worst nausea from about week 5, and here it is at week 14 and it hasnt let up.

Tuesday, 18 Dec

Not happy today. Yesterday I tore 3 muscles in my shoulder and it really hurts. The doctors gave me panadeine forte for the pain, but codeine makes me throw up so I cant take them. I cant even brush my hair or get dressed without help from my long suffering hubby.
On the other hand, am looking forward to christmas and having the 18 week scan at the start of the new year. Cant wait to find out if the little one is a boy or a girl!!!!!!!

We had the 20 week ultrasound, and ITS A BOY!!!! Wea are sooooo happy, as we have a little girl, so now we will have one of each. We are nearly decided on the name James Matthew. James is my husband `s late father `s middle name, and Matthew is my husband `s midle name. The ultrasound went well, the doctor said that there is a 99.9% chance that the baby is fine. His heart rate was 149, so that is good. Im sooooo excited, went out today at lunch and started to buy blue blankets and clothes.

I saw you on Becaboo's friends list!!!! I hope all is well. My husband and I have an 8 year old girl and we are now expecting a boy, so I feel your joy!!!! We too have had a hard time with getting pregnant and then this pregnancy was a little rough in the beginning.... I hope all is well for you, have a wonderful Mother's Day! Congratulations!!! :)
