Hey Ladies, I'm back. I haven't been online in a while. Miss Leah is 8 months and she's into everything. WOW!! She's standing, crawling, walking while holding on to things. My Little Diva!!! :o)
Leah has 6 teeth!! 4 @ the top & 2 @ the bottom. Wow how time flies!!

Aug 27- I had my shower on Saturday and it was so awesome. We rec'd everything off our registry. We're so grateful for everything. I've been in the baby's room everyday since Saturday just looking at the things we got. My family and friends set everything up on Saturday. Hanging the clothes up, getting things ready to be washed. Ah.. I can't wait for Miss Leah's arrival. 12 MORE DAYS OF WORK and i'm out!!!!!! :o)
Aug 23- I found out my shower is this weekend. :o) Can't wait!!! I had a doctor's appmnt last night and Leah Grace is head down and ready. So far I'm up 40lbs...that's sucks. The nursery isn't finished yet. I hope to have it done by Sept.1st. 14 more days and I'm going out on maternity leave....and the count down begins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aug 8- I'm feeling really, really FAT!!! I gained too much weight... 33lbs at 33 weeks!!!! :o( My little muffin is doing very well. We meet with her pediatrican next Monday.
We finally brought the crib and dresser for her room. I just knew that the crib was going to sit in the box for a couple of weeks but my hubby put it together right away. He's excited!!!
July 13 - 9:30am...just received a call from my doctor's office and my glu test results are in............IT'S NORMAL, I PASSED 100%!!!!! YEAH BABY!!! I'm going to celebrate by getting the waffle cone sundae from Diary Queens. :o)
28 weeks pregnant and HUGE!!!!! Look at the BELLY!!! And YES it's only ONE!!! LOL
July 5th- Everything is going good my belly is getting so big. This morning it felt like my little muffin was trying to break out of my belly. It was too cute. Next week I take my Glu Test. Kind of nervous.... I LOVE MY SWEETS!! We'll see. I just hope that everything will be ok. My Hubby already thinks I'm eating to much sweets. I don't want to prove him right!! :o(
June 23rd- I felt a new movement from my little muffin today. It felt weird and hard. I saw my belly moving in a big wave. It was so amazing!!! :o)
June-13 I had an ultrasound yesterday everything is great and my little muffin had hiccups!!!! :o)
This is our first child and it's a girl!!!!!! This is Leah Grace at 19 weeks. We're so excited and can't wait to meet her. My little muffin is sucking her fingers in the second picture. :o) Awww!! <

Sleeping well at night is hit or miss. Overall I get a decent night's sleep but I do get woken more easily than usual these days. I'm also one that sleeps on their back so trying to stay on my side doesn't always happen. I think one of the reasons I've been feeling very good (compared to what I read on the posts from others) is because I have time to relax and nap when I need to.

Hi! I'm loving this cooler weather we're having. I can do without the drizzle but I'll take the temps. :o) I went into school for a few hours on 2 days to set up my room and photocopy things for the first 2 weeks. I've done as much as I'm going to do. My plan is to be there until 9/14 so long as Zoë cooperates. :o) I can't believe we're only 5 weeks away (give or take). How are you feeling?

Hey, how are you and Leah G.? Actually Leah N and I are doing well...although Leah has seem to be in a little distress lately. My doctor is going to induce labor on the 23rd which is next week if she hasn't made an appearance before then. So I'll be meeting my little one then, I can hardly wait. I hope all is going well with you and your little one, you really don't have much longer! YAY!!

Hi! I cannot stand heat and humidity so I've been staying inside the house in the A/C. We didn't sleep too much last night since those severe thunderstorms that have alot of Northeast NJ and NYC in a frenzy passed (and stalled) right over our house for about 2 hours. I have never experienced storms like that in my life! Luckily no damage done to our house. I've been off school since June 19 for the summer. I am planning to go back Sept. 4-14 (I teach 8th grade science) and be out until Feb. 4. If I wasn't going back to school mid-year I wouldn't go in at all in Sept. but I think it's important to start the year off with my new students, even for several days. I pray the heat is nothing like this! We don't have A/C at my school. There's no way I could handle it. We met our pediatrician last night---we really liked him. Is the crib and dresser you bought part of the same set? Which one did you get? We have the crib but no dresser yet. Other than that I think we're pretty much set. Zoë could come today and we'd be ready (I think)! :o)

Hello Sheen...Not only ar eyou also from NJ, but we have the same due date and we're both expecting girls! Did yiou take the glucose test yet? I went first thing in the morning and although you do not have to fast, I had nothing but a few pieces of cheddar cheese (protein) beforehand. My doctor advised to not eat anything too carb heavy or sweet before the test. Your picture 28 weeks pregnant is beautiful. I like that you're referring to your baby as your 'little muffin'...adorable.

Hey, I picked out Leah and my husband was deciding between Nicole and Marie but in the end 'Nicole' won. I think I've always had the name Leah in mind for a girl....long before we even got married. The funny thing is, I found out that one of my younger brother's friend has a 2yr. daughter named 'Leah Nicole' and we had no idea, but we're not going to change her name. I really don't know how I gained only 8lbs, but then Leah doesn't seem to like sweets or meats which is surprising because I love hamburgers but haven't been able to eat much meats since being pregnant with her. The only foods I crave more than anything are watermelon and fresh peaches...maybe that's why.:)

I'm right there with you on the weight gain! NO fun! I also took off my wedding ring early-I had to get mine cut off during my first pregnancy-very sad. I was able to loose 75bls last year so my only hope with the weight gain is at least I know I am able to get it off if I really try. Not sure what I will wear after I have this baby since I gave all my bigger clothes to charity-kinda wish I still had some now... oh well. I hope everything goes well with your Glucose test-I still have to take mine too.

Hi, dont know what a registry is but we got our crib from my inlaws. MY husband and his sis apparently used it which is quite cool its still in good condition too. I figure if there not gonna be in it for longer than 3 months you shouldnt need to spend loads on one. Cheapest cribs here are around £40 which i believe is equivalent to $40-$50. Is a registry like a wedding list service where you select what presents you want?

400$?????!!!! GOD NO! LOL, It was only like 200 bucks, and its a nifty one that changes into a day bed and what not as the child grows....I just figured it was a big pricey item that Id rather buy myself... My registry is a bunch of under 20$ items, like bottles and bouncers and whatnot...I bought the furniture myself though. Money is tight for most of my family so I thought Id trty to keep it within everybody's price range... :)
