Mya was born on February 11, 2008 @ 4:58a.m. She weighed in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 20 inches long. I went in to be induced Sunday night, the 10th. They started induction around 10 p.m. I refused pain relief at first. After a few hours, the contractions were getting closer together, and more intense, I had a narcotic, it lasted for about 30 minutes, then the resident came in to place a scalp fetal monitor and it was over! I was in soooo much pain after that, I requested the epidural. As soon as they gave it to me, which took 3 tries by the way, they checked me to see what I was immediately and I was 9 1/2 c m. Needless to say, I never did get to feel the effects of the epidural. Next time, I will be requesting it ASAP! I pushed hard for 2 hours, it took so long because she was coming out sunny side up. She ended up with bruising on her head and face from scraping against my pubic bone on the way out. I would have to say it was the most intense thing I've ever experienced. It took 7 hours for my little bean to get here once labor was started.

Just wanted to let you know the doc said the ultrasound tech thought I was two weeks too early to have the scan and my hcg levels were on the low side so I am doing a couple more blood tests and have another ultrasound on wed. At least it looks hopeful. I feel better but not as good as when I see that baby is ok with my own eyes. I will keep you posted.

Thanks for asking but I won't know till at least Fri for the results cause I think I am either not far enough to see anything or else something is wrong because the girl wouldn't talk to me or show me anything and I don't assume thats very good. I am still waiting for my blood test results, if my levels are fairly low there may still be hope.
Just keeping my fingers crossed for now.

I hated having to take Brianna off breast milk, I felt guiltier than sin but I had to go back to work for a while and couldn't pump for her anymore. Don't feel bad at least you are still giving her breast milk too, thats a good thing. I gave Brianna some Gerber 1st foods as well, she has had peaches apples and bananas which turned out to be her fav so far. I also gave her some rice cereal but I don't think she liked it so I will try her on the oat one next time.
We are very lucky to conceive so quickly, I am glad we will have our family completed sooner than later. It has been nice moving around without the big belly but I am excited none the less.
I can't wait till Tues to see that firs ultrasound, I will feel better knowing everything is where it should be.

Brianna's appointment went well, she is 16 lbs now. She was running a bit of a fever today from the shots, so I gave her something that will hopefully help.
I did get the requisitions I needed.
I did my blood test today for beta hcg and I have my ultrasound booked for tues aft.
I took another test today and it is still a very strong positive. Its funny that I can be so surprised even though we were trying. I guess I figured the first took so long that the second would take at least a year. However we both were hoping it would happen sooner than later.
I will keep you posted on any news.
Are you feeding Mya any baby foods yet?

Brianna has a doctors apt tonight for her second set of shots so I will ask the doctor while I am there, if I can get the requisitions I need for blood work and an ultrasound to find out. I hope in the next week or two to find out. One good thing is we are happy either way to have a girl or a boy but I will keep you posted for sure.

Omg May is gorgeous, what a doll. So good to hear from you. It sounds like I wasn't the only one with a difficult labor, sunny side up....ouch.
How are you and your little one?
They grow so fast don't they.
I actually just found out this morning I am pregnant again, I don't know how far yet but wow almost one year to the day that I found out the first time. This will be my last though, I don't think I can do the pregnancy thing a third time. Are you going to try for another?

Tanner weighs 13pd 2oz and is 25 1/2 in. He did not like his shots at all! Plus his gums are really bothering him, I hope they come soon. I'm pretty much giving him something everyday either cause he feels warm or his gums. B-day party was good, it rained and was very windy so couldn't do our bon fire and everyone left early, that was a bummer, but still had fun! I wish they didn't have to grow soo fast!

She could be starting to teeth. You won't actually see or feel the teeth til they almost come through. Is she drowling and sticking everything in her mouth? Yeah Tanner didn't take his shots very well, the girls did much better and didn't phase them. Oh what a cute picture of Mommie and Mya!

Tanner's doing great! He rolled over acouple of days ago and yesterday he found his voice so talks alot! He still fits into almost all of his 0-3 month clothes, guess he's really getting the use out of them! Now when I put him on his back he gets all excited and scootches on the ground, he just flies on his back! It's soo funny!

As for me, I still need to lose 12 pds! I tried to put on my shorts and I looked horrible in them! LOL Like a distorted marshmellow, so I'm trying to diet, hope that works! Nick has to work an odd shift it's 4-10 hr days from 10:30pm-8:30am and it sucks! Other than that we're doing ok. Tomorrow is our 5 yr anniversary and the kids are staying over night w/ family so we have the whole night to ourselves and are going to the casino. At least you can fit into your jeans!

Hi! Did you try to put Mya in her bumbo chair yet? You can see how she does. The box says at 3 months. I have a jumper thing that I have a pic of tanner in, it has a yellow tray, is that what you're talking about, the jumper roo? I would put her in and see how she does, sometimes I would have to put a blanket around them to secure them, but now Tanner doesn't need one in there anymore. Mya is such alittle cuttie!

god i remember that, i only fed for 2 weeks though she used me as a dummy and it meant i got no sleep at all, i do wish i had stuck with it and still feel guilty but shes doing so well anyway and doesnt drink milk now i went back to work after 6 months anyway so would have been hard for me then. i will definatly persevere with my next one hehe wish i had with maia but shes growing fast and coming on so well shes trying to speak hehe its so funny. xx.
