9.7 hours ago The dark genes aren't necessarily more dominant. I am part Indian, with dark hair, dark eyes, and an olive complexion. My 2-year old has blond hair, blue eyes, and a very fair complexion. I call him my little albino! lol. britbrit3 -

Saturday, 27 September I have the same concern but my doctor is taking the wait and see approach. Originally they were worried that my Leep (done twice, several years ago) would cause an incompetent cervix. i had weekly ultrasounds up to 25 weeks and my cervix never changed. Now I am 36 weeks and one centimeter dilated. I asked her about the possibilty of scar tissue but she thinks I'll be fine. Good luck and keep me posted, =) Casey mama-bear-thompson -
Friday, 26 September hey your hands will only get worse as time goes on. i have it, you have carpul tunnel brought on by pregnancy..basically your hands start to swell more and it puts pressure on some nerve in your hand. what helps me is wearing a "hand wrap" or band or whatever you can get it at Target for like 18 bucks. i have to wear them on both hands. and they feel much better in the morning, cause then at least you can grip things. ;) brockgirl -
Wednesday, 24 September I had one internal exam where the doctor intentionally "stripped my membranes" where he was aggressive to start my labor. Usually it doesn't make you go into labor, however, if you are close, insertion of just about anything can make you start labor. Any internal exam can make you bleed a little too...which is normal. I haven't had either my ex or my current husband not interested in me after giving birth. Trust me...you won't care if you have a packed stadium watching you give birth. The baby is going to come out regardless and you will be so excited to see it. JsMomAndOneMoreComing -

Saturday, 13 September I did talk to my doctor she put me off work and switch my meds from prozac to wellbutrin. It has helped a bit. I have found the most helpful thing is knowing I am not the only one. thanks for your support. dyamond -

Thursday, 28 August Thank you so much for answering my question! We have out-of-state family that is wanting to be home for the birth, but I was not sure how to approach my doctor about maybe setting an induce date?? Mystical5150 -
Friday, 22 August Im sure he will snap out of it once the baby's born, but I agree that you have every right to be upset!! mamatess -
Thursday, 21 August I feel the same as your husband right now! haha! But seriously, I think it is very healthy that he is expressing himself to you, as heartbreaking as it might be. It's a GOOD thing that he is communicating his fears with his wife. (I know that this isn't the most consoling post, but I thought it might help to hear the good points about what he is saying.) And you know what? He'll come around. I have faith! stone -
Thursday, 21 August I feel your pain when it comes to the DH. I know several men, including mine, who had a hard time with the idea of a new baby. Every single one of them said the same thing yours has and I SWEAR that every single one of them changed their mind when they first saw their babies. I can't promise he will be helpful after the baby arrives, but I am pretty sure he will change his mind about that baby. My DH has turned into a wonderful and very helpful father. My friend has a 4 month old and her husband adores his little girl, but he isn't very helpful when it comes to taking care of her. But he does love her very much. KarenVG -
Thursday, 21 August Regarding your hubbie comment... I know alot of guys get like that at first, but if not before when they see their baby in the flesh they usually come around. They often are overwhelmed with the repsonsibilty and do not know how to handle it. If his mum or dad are close enough maybe get them to put a flea in his ear to get a grip!
Otherwise hang in there and try and understand his feelings they can seem big to them at this stage... Will pray for you both...

Monday, 18 August Sounds good to me! Thanks for remembering to tell me! How was the rest of the appointment? Just a quick checkup for the most part?
My doc said that's pretty much all it will be for now til the weekly appts start after week 35. I go again on Thursday morning.
Btw...think I had my first major BH or something today. I had a cramp, like a menstrual cramp that lasted for a bout 2 min! I had to get up and walk around to get it to go away! Ugh! Hope I'm ready for this!
