Thanks so much for the response Shelley! It kind of scared me the first time around so I got out before the pushing began. But this time, when I compare the pain after getting out, I decided it would definitely be worth it. Plus it sounds like it can be a great experience... that is so neat that she floated up to you! I really appreciate hearing your perspective and I am excited now!

Wow, she is beautiful... I can't wait for my little girl! I'm so glad to hear that loved your waterbirth experience. I was in the tub for the majority of my labour, but had to get out three hours before and then it got a lot worse. I decided I am going to do a waterbirth this time! The midwife will bring the tub to the hospital again. Was there anything you needed to do to bring or prepare for the birth? I was naked last time, but I might want a bathing suit top or something. Was it strange pushing in the water? How quickly after did you get out? Also, I am worried about pooping in the pool! Was that an issue for you? Thanks!!! :)

Well ladies, seems like a miscarriage to me. After lots of cramping I passed something that was about as big as a toonie and I am pretty sure it was the sac/yolk/embryo. Needless to say I am devastated. :'(
