Hi! My name is Michelle. I have a wonderful husband, Danny. I am a full time Mommy to my step-daughter, Brianna (7) and our beautiful son, Jacob (30 months) I found out I was pregnant on 6/9/07 We weren't actually planning a pregnancy that exact month but knew we wanted to keep our children close in age. I was waiting for my period and actually got really bad cramps for 3 days, it was dragging on but never came!!! I finally gave in after being 5 days late and took a test. My sister, bestfriend, and 2 neices joined me in the bathroom! haha :o) We were going to surprise the husbands out in the living room and joke, I'm pregnant, but I really was!!!!!! :o) haha so I think I ran out of the bathroom with my pants to my knees looking for the box. My husband bought the one with the + and I had to make sure!! haha SO here I am pregnant with my 2nd. It's wonderful and everything has been really going smoothly. I have a wonderful doctor and am considered a high-risk pregnancy due to HELLP syndrome with my first pregnancy. I actually almost lost my life and I am so grateful I am here to raise my son. I thank the Lord every day. Jacob was 4lbs and I was considered full term! Went into labor at 36 weeks 6 days. I'm praying that this time around I just have a healthy normal pregnancy and so far this pregnancy is SO different. No morning sickness, I have an appetite, it's great!!!

the csection was much better than i feared. i have been up and moving since i got home. my husband thinks i am over doing it but i feel fine. i had a few cramps yesterday. i had a friend tell me that you can have awful gas pain after a c section, maybe that was it? congrats on your 1! things should start moving soon!

Wow your gall bladder! I was only measruing at 30 last wk and I was measuring at 36 the previous wk. They did an U/S and he was almost 7 pds give or take and everything was fine too! She said it was because I'm thin. I sure your little girl is all right! I wonder what I'll be measuring this wk? I go on Thurs. I wonder if she'll think about inducing me! Yes keep me posted! That gall bladder can be nasty! My mom had it removed last yr and said she feels worse w/out it!

i haven't been on much either. pretty busy. how are you feeling now? lillie is doing fine. she has gained a whooping 4 ounces! need her to get to 4 pounds before she can go home. 13 more ounces to go.

I had a UTI around 4 months I never had any symtoms either and didn't even know I had one. Glad everything is ok. It's almost time!!!

my feet are swelling because of all the fluid they gave me during surgery plus my high blood pressure. i got dressed in real clothes today to go home. i can't wear my shoes! i guess i will wear my slippers until it goes down. doc says about 2 weeks. yikes! has your doc called you back yet? do you think he will send you to l&d to be checked? everyone is getting so close, i bet you are so excited! i am ready to go home and get my house ready for lillie. it is hard to leave her here, but we aren't ready to have her at home either. we have so much to do. glad i am not on bed rest anymore! i updated my blog with updates today. let me know what your doctor says. take care, i will be thinking of you.

Wow I can't believe they would wait that long to call you! Does it hurt really bad? WI wheather for you! It keeps changing! It gets teally really cold and then it warms up alitte and that's all it takes!

That must be nerve wracking! Hope everything is ok. Are you going to have a C-sec w/ this one? I have this cold and won't go away. Last night I didn't sleep good at all between this cold and having contractions every hr. So today I'm soo tired and have soo much to do! I feel like a zombie. I hope he holds off on coming til I feel alittle better!

It wouldn't surprise me if I stop making progress and go over 40 wks! He's very unpredictable! LOL Last wk he was measuring at 36 wks and today at 30 wks big drop! He really does have a mind of his own! Oh and he loves his placenta! Couldn't get a good look at him cause he was all cozy w/ it just like for his 4D U/S. What is he going to sdo w/out it? LOL I feel I could go over 40 though I just don't feel that uncomfortable very much!

i saw your shower pics. looks like you got lots of goodies. i guess i will have a sip and see when she gets home. or maybe i will have a shower while she is still at the hospital. i guess i will still have time to get things ready at home while she is here. i went to go feed her and i can't stop crying. my baby doesn't cry, but i do. i am such an emotional wimp. it is after 9pm and my hubby hasn't been here all day. too busy. he is trying to take care of our house and his job. still, i want him to make me and her priority. i think that he is scared and nervous, so he doesn't want to be here. he is tring to take it all in. i want to cry, but i know as soon as i do someone will walk in. i hate for people to see me cry. i just can't escape it.

i asked my doctor this morning. she said that she measures the uterus, not the baby. she also said that it was something that can't be diagnosed or treated. well i disagree. i am starting to get angry. they moved lillie into an incubator today, that is a step up. still depressing. i am starting to get sad to think about going home. i don't want to leave her. this is not how it was supposed to turn out. i just want to cry. stupid post partum and hormones. i get to go feed her at 8:30. tonight it is just me and dad. that should be good bonding time. i will take some pics, posted some of today on my blog. not too much excitement.

At my appoint he was measuring at 30! So I had an U/S done to see why he was measuring so small, I got worried but he's fine!! He weighs about 6pds 12oz give or take. His HR was 158. I'm about 2 cm and 50% thinned! I asked her since I labor fast what to do and if I don't have him by next Thurs we'll talk about induction depending on my progress at my appoint! But if I'm 41 wks and 3 days they will induce me anyways, but I don't plan on him staying that long!

sorry you are uncomfortable. i feel like i shouldn't of complained about my preg considering i was carrying a 3 pound baby. she didn't weigh enough to push and kick that much. feels weird that i am not preg anymore. i wish i had her with me. i wish i could share her with you guys in person. i will just have to share lots of pictures, you better do the same. this whole experience has been so different than with my son. it is so strange to have to ask someone else permission to see my baby and hold her. drives me crazy! she is just so sweet. still working on the name. my hubby is driving me crazy. we are down to lillie millay henry or preston marie henry or lillie marie henry. should know in the morning. i like all three, but love lillie. the name on her crib in the nicu says b g henry for baby girl henry. my hubby took a sharpie to it and it now reads b i g henry. so we are calling her big. or lil' big for lillie big. we just crack ourselves up.

no, not preston. she just is too small. she needs a petite name. we like lilly, but hubby still has to decide. the girls in the nicu have all picked out names for her. poor thing needs a name. i told them we would have a name by morning. don't get to bring her home, not for weeks. i want her home soon, but i want her healthy and strong. i will be at the hospital at least another day or two. i hate to go home without her. how are you and your baby doing? whens your next doc appt? i am going to miss talking preg stuff, but soon we can all talk baby stuff!

I'll find out tomorrow! I've been getting really bad hurt burn, even from water! It sucks! Then since yesterday he's been putting alot of pressure on my cervix and when I get the BH it makes me feel soo uncomfortable and it sort of hurts too! Like he was sretching end to end. Although he's head down he is in a posterior postion, his face is facing up instead of facing down, which means alot of back labor and might be a more difficult labor. The Dr might have to use forcepts or try to turn him manually as he's being delivered! Doesn't sound too pleasant! I'm sorry that nothing is happening for you down there! Do you find yourself crampy at all since your exam?

49 that is a heat wave!! I know for you guys its not, but at this point 49 would be wonderful! I hate all the frost on the windows in the mornings, and we are getting atleast 2 inches of snow tomorrow =0( that just makes for wet cold feet. I hear what you are saying about the sweaters to hide the belly...ha ha, I cant wait to get back to the YMCA...I feel so fat and nasty. I have gained about 23 pounds now, which isnt horrible compared to my last two..which was 50-60 yuck! I have not been out of the house today and it has made me very irritable...its just too cold to even step out.

yeah, I know what you mean. My little girl always wore smaller shorts, and skirts...now its hard to get her jeans that fit, because she is too tall but skinny, they end up fitting right in the length but are too big in the waist and butt! I dont know what kids they base the clothing on =0) big ones I guess. I have a newborn outfit for my little man to wear home, but I have thought about buying a preemie one at gymboree, so it will fit him. I just keep stopping myself because like I said I need NO more clothes =0) I am just so ready to have him, bypass the labor part would be great! I just keep looking at the bassinet, bed, swing...and all that stuff, thinking in a few weeks he will be in those, I am just getting so impatient. Wow I just realized you are in Florida....must be nice, we had the coldest day here, this morning it was negative 5 degrees..burr, and the windchill was even worse. My aunt lives in Florida (St.Cloud) We went to Orlando last Feb..and took a cruise to the bahamas, oh my goodness it was so fun, but driving in Orlando....was HORRIBLE!!

i had her! she wasn't doing to well, but she will be ok. i am at the hospital now. she wasn't getting what she needed, prob with placenta. she is in nicu, weighed 2 lbs 15 oz. i will uptade soon, having trouble typing with all of these cords.
