Shelly and Barret's First Baby!!

I am 22 years old and I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is my first pregancy and I am very excited. We have found out that we are going to be having a little boy!!! We are very excited. I feel as though the pregnancy is going by so quickly.

7/20/08:I am very excited about this pregnancy. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. I am nervous and excited for him to get here. I can't wait to be a mom for the first time. I am very excited because my family is very happy that I am having a boy because my parents had two girls and then my dads sister never had any kids so my grandpa never had a grandson and my dad never had a son, so they are excited to teach him how to hunt and fish when he gets older. I have been extremely tired because I am still working full-time at my job so I am on my feet all the time so my feet, legs, and back ache everyday. On my days off I don't even want to leave the house I just want to take and rest all day and not do a thing. Well I thought I would give an update.

9/18/08:So I went to the doctor yesterday and everything looks great. My doctor said that even though I am not real big I am measuring where I should be and that his heart sounds great. I am just ready for him to get here. I want to hold him and love him. This week has been so long so many bad things going on with my family, but on Saturday I am having my last baby shower LOL it is technically my 3rd one. I am excited because once it is over I can finish buying whatever else I need. My parents have pretty much bought all of the big stuff and most of my fiances family just got us gift cards so we could go buy whatever else we need which is great because I would rather pick it out myself LOL. Well I hope everyone else is having a great pregnancy and I hope all of our babys come out nice and healthy.

10/24/08:Well I went to the doctor on Wednesday and was told that I am 1cm dialated and 50% effaced and cervic is nice and soft. I was also told my baby is at a -2 station. I have no clue what any of this means seeing as it is my first baby. I am due on Sunday the 26th and I don't think he will be coming by then. I think I am going to be pregnant forever.

10/27/08:I was right he didn't come yesterday. Today is my fiances brothers birthday so it would be cool for him to be born today, but I doubt it yesterday I was at least having irregular contractions but nothing today. I have decided I am just going to try and stop thinking about when he could come and just go back to my life as much as I can. My fiance and I made the decision that we are going to have him circumcized after he is born which is fine with me. I have decided he will be here before Thanksgiving because he has to be right I am already overdue he has to be here by then LOL.

10/29/2008:I had a doctors appt. today I am 3 days overdue at this time. My BP is still high but not to high and I am starting to get protein in my urine. The doctor listened to the baby everything sounded great. Then when she checked me she told me that the baby was at 0 station which is great esp. since last week I was at -2 station. The problem that I found out today was that she could not reach my cervix. She said that it to far back and it may be the reason I have not gone into labor. She even was trying to get to it to pull it forward but couldn't she couldn't tell me if I was dialated more than last week or if I was effaced more or not. She had me do an NST which everything looked great my baby was moving around and his heart sounded and looked great. She went ahead and scheduled me for an induction on Tuesday Nov. 4th at 7:30 am. I am so very very excited but very nervous.
