I am 24 and I live in the UK with my husband Tony. We have been married for nearly 4 years. For the last 5 years we have been trying for a baby. In the last few years I have been pregnant 9 times but had one ectopic and 8 m/c. It has been difficult but the love, strenghth and support we have has got us through.
I am Anti-Nuclear Antibody Positive (ANA). There is an association between ANA and recurrent pregnancy loss. My consultant has reccomended that I take 75mg Asprin on the confirmation of a positive pregnancy test then once a scan has confirmed viability I will have regular Tinzapraine injections throughout pregnancy.
The Latest!!!
I was due on my period on Sat 12th July but had no period pains, I did a pregnancy tests x 4 and they were all positive. We were not trying yet but I suppose thats the best time. We were going to go on our holiday in August first. I went straight out and bought some Asprin as recomended by the consultant. I am really scared because if the treatment does not work then there is no more hope for us, so fingers crossed. I telephoned the consultants PA to inform him and get an appointment. We go to see him and for a scan on the 29th July. Usually we go slighlty earlier but they have said they need to see a heartbeat before they can give me the injections. The appointment seems so long away and I am sure it will drag. I am really scared but will take one day at a time and hope that this time it is meant to be.

The main thing is that I am going to be a Mum!! I can't believe it has finally happened and that we have heard the heartbeat and seen our little one moving around looking healthy! x

I am really laughing here, I am so pleased its only me and dog in the room. I am sorry to find your mood swings so funny, but I can just imagine it. hehe. I am sure your family understand you are going to be a bit emotional - and Sky normally deserve a good telling off. Yay! everyone knows at last, I am sure they are all very happy for you, you deserve it! my goodness its been a long journey so far. I am with you every step of the way! I think you should tell the baby to come five days early, I am sure you will be happy with that by the time you get to week 39, as its my birthday on 14th March. I even managed to visit my pregnant friend on Saturday, she only has three weeks until her due date, I didnt get upset at all!!! I am soooooo proud, I am really hoping I am through the worst.... Only 9 days until the BDing starts, hoping Steve is not too sore from his hike on 20th ;)

thanks, I couldn't believe it when I ahd my scan, it was weird watching it going mad, kicking of the walls and I couldnt feel a thing lol I wish I could have had a video of the scan, that'd be ace...

I'm doing well, I need to get through week 13 and than hopefully relax a bit. I lost one at 13 weeks and thought everything was going well, so I know no time is really safe and know I'll probably worry untill I have a baby in my arms. I know this is a new pregnancy and everything is going good and I should let go of the past, it's just been difficult to get over it.

Hi all had my scan today all was great I am 11weeks 1day wanted to be more just to be closer to 12weeks but all was fine my baby was sucking its thumb and she said its a very active baby it was fantastic. We are sooooo happy will put the pics up soon my sister got my addaptor to do it so will be a few days it not very clear but you can see it hehe good look to the rest of you xxx

Had my u/s girls - it was amazing.. we saw, arms hands and fingers, legs feet and toes, nose, lips, brain, liver, stomach, heart.. It sucked its thumb, swallowed, put it's hands on it's head and then shook its head - it was just fab... My son said 'Mam, I didn't believe it when you said you had a baby in your tummy, but it's just waved at me so nw Iknow you aren't telling me fibs' I've got 3 pics, I'll post them when I get home from work.. they're awesome..

Those are awesome names :) I love Zac.... My friend had a boy right before I had my first son and called him Zack though so I couldn't use it. We've decided on Ashden Hunter this time.... It took until week 29 for us to be able to come up with a name we could agree on :)

thank you, im off to my brothers wedding this weekend, we all camping in a field they getting married in a marquee in the middle of this field, not really looking forward to it that much, as im quite big and think i will be un-comfortable, everyone will be drunk and i'l be up the corner like a lemon, lol, and not to mention the shocking weather. but oh well he should only be doing it once so im sure i can cope, haha, you have a good weekend, and take care. x x

Hi babes, GREAT news!!! I am so happy for you. Yes, you are right - its hard to hear but I look at it positively and see it as every healthy baby, means it is possible and one day it will happen for me. I honestly hoped with all my heart that everything would be ok with you, you totally deserve it! I am REALLY pleased!!! yay!
