Hi everyone! Had my Nolan David on Tuesday, 03/18 at 5:17pm - after an epi to get my bp down (160/100, very high for me) and 2 hours of pushing. i was narrow, so had to use forceps and had 3rd degree tearing (just fractions away from a complete tear, it also went into muscle). lost a lot of blood (doc was covered in it and even sprayed her face! went from a 12 count to a 7 count - whatever that means, and almost had a transfusion) and bp went to 60/40 so i puked and passed out for about 2 hours. everything was totally worth it though. my nolie is precious, and just to see my husband burst into tears and say "he's beautiful" would make me do the whole thing all over again - seriously! Nolie was 8.1 lbs and 19 inches. his apgar test was 9/10 (no lusty crying from my boy). he was place on my chest immediately and squeaked for a second and then stared into my face the whole rest of the time actually cooing!
