sherry04 you are absolutely right. I just closed the chapter on a 14 year friendship with one of my male friends as he try to convey to me that I was wrong for shutting my child's father out. We are alot older than you but it appears age doesn't mean maturity when it comes to men. He said the EXACT same things your child's donor said. Abortion, called me out my name, denied the child, etc. Then he wants to turn around and say he loves his child? To me this presented unstability. I cut him off month two of my pregnancy. My male friend that I cut off suggested my child's donor hadn't done anything for my child because I haven't let him? Do I need to travel two hours and give him a ride to walmart so that he can contribute? I don't think so. I was pregnant and putting together cribs, etc. I told my ex-friend it appears he is suggesting every man that goes around acting a fool after he impregnates a woman should get a pat on the back for being irrational and being a butthole. To me once someone shows that side of them there is more to come no matter how many times they apologize. I meant what I said and I haven't asked anything from him my whole pregnancy. My daughter has a nice nursery and everything she needs for a long time so GOD has provided. I would never want to bring a child in the world intentionally without a father but i'd rather her not know him, then go through a 18 years of him not being a consistent and positive role model in her life. I believe in this truly. Anyone can lay down and make a child but not everyone is capable of being a real PARENT. Now for those that think they will just keep the mother or father around no matter what their behavior, the child only suffers. I feel bad I cut off my best friend but I suspected he had been talking to my child's donor this whole time on my myspace behind my back. Oh well my daughter is here now and she is most important. I don't want the drama.

aw, i jsut read your comment on general chat. One of my best friends is going through the same thing with her pregnancy. She doesn't want the dad in the babies life either, he's bad news. Theb est thing though, if he does take you to court, just tell the judge what he said about not wanting to be in the babies life, and he hasn't done anything to support you since your pregnancy...
