Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Thanks. i'm just a little frustrated because i haven't really had any tests done yet and i had 2 miscarriages in the past so i'm just worried all the time. I'm really happy for you that your baby is healthy and a boy, that's exciting! it just seems that in Canada we don't get as many ultrasounds as the us and the only reason i'm getting one at 12 weeks is because i'm high risk. Most women have to wait till 20 weeks! Ctazy eh. take care and thanks!

I think it's pretty amazing that they can even guess at the sex this point! Let me know what they say at your next u/s. We have another one on March 3rd. I love seeing everything happening in there! It's the only time I really believe there's someone in there!

Shikita, I had my 2nd u/s yesterday (10 wks, 5 days.) The nurse said she thinks it's a boy, but we can't be sure until about 16-18 weeks. Boys and girls look so much alike down there at this point! Good luck!

hi congrats on your pregnancy they cant tell boy or girl this early they can normally tell that from 16weeks onwards so it would be around 20weeks scan that you canfind out ive had a few probs during my pregnancy so im having an u/s tomorrow fingers crossed everything will be ok for us both.xx
