Hello Everyone!

My name is Shilah and I am 22 years old. I had cervical cancer last year and had to have a few surgeries to get rid of it. Because of that the Dr.s told us that If i were to get pregnant that the chances of my cervix holding the baby to term were slim.

Well I just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on August 1st. My boyfriend and I are LOVING every moment of being parents yes, even the sleepless ones!

I like Eden Rose. It's funny cause I am naming my baby girl Phoenix Rose and one of my friends pointed out that the mythical bird which is the Phoenix ROSE out of the ashes...she is the only one who made the connection so far and I like the name too much anyways. :)
